I play online most of all and just wondered how people handle a scenario like this that came up on the table? Malice wasted Prodigy with FIELDS OF MALICE (+4). Thantos decides to try and interfere as Prodigy's manager. Roll on the manager interference reads "Your manager tries to interfere but the opponent clotheslines your manager and then delivers one of his speciality moves on you. Then he covers you! ROLL YOUR PIN
I have approached the resultant pin rating roll in several different ways according to how I feel :
(a) add +4 seeing as the finisher has still just happened and its impact will still be felt. (b) As above but add +3 instead as maybe some brief recuperation time lessens its original impact. (c) Just roll pin rating and ignore the finisher seeing as its a new move used against Prodigy. (d) Add 1 to pin rating for the disrupted finisher and now roll pin without adding +4. If this fails then add another 1 to pin rating.
Curious as to what others might do in this situation?
Thanks, Wayne

I've been rolling PIN no finisher.

I've been rolling PIN no finisher. Same... I figure the interference was enough to interrupt whatever impact the finisher might have.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I will follow D most of the time based on all this. For the record even though Malice lost the impact of his finisher due to the interference the adding 1 to Prodigy's pin rating meant the next move was succesful pin due to an ultra low 2d roll.

Lol. Could be something brewing. I'm in 2108 CPC era and Prodigy is getting a bit miffed. Lost in the shuffle as other stars in the Penthouse Suite are generally more favoured

(d) Add 1 to pin rating for the disrupted finisher and now roll pin without adding +4. If this fails then add another 1 to pin rating.

I usually do A. I view the interference as a failure. Why reward that failure by giving him an easier pin to kick out of? So in this scenario The FIELDS OF MALICE is followed by Thantos being clotheslined. Malice covers Prodigy and the pin is still felt.
