I just picked them up along with the reimagined base set (iffy feelings on that) so I'm going to obviously use them when I play but I can't seem to find anything regarding these them. Is Duke with the Royal Court? Is Red Talon a precursor to the Animen coming up? Feuding against each other? Have these two gotten any kind of post-support with upgrade cards or anything in the future reimagined sets? Or are these two just intended for 2087 but aren't factored into anything at all like you would a bootleg card so you can use them whenever?

Both of them had two cards apiece--one black-and-white "retro-style" card with Chuck Carter art, and updated color art by Darryl Banks.
From an old post by Todd:
Red Talon was in and out of the GWF quickly and mysteriously in 2087. He had minor feuds with Beast Rider and Pulsar in his brief stay. Red Talon was arrogant, but couldn't back up his confidence in the ring. Claiming to represent the "superior AniMen race" he used a clumsy finisher called FLYING HEADHUNT which was a soaring head butt off the ropes. The best that can be said about Red Talon is he was a forerunner to the powerful AniMan legacy that followed.
The Duke of Destruction joined the Evil Ones for a brief period of time in 2087, but he turned out to be an agitator, arguing that he was more fit to lead the team than Exo-King. He might have gone far in the GWF if not for his attitude. The Duke was flexible, showing that he was capable both as a singles wrestler and a tag wrestler. Robotic parts in his hands gave him a strong finisher, GRIP OF DOOM. His run in the GWF ended in a feud against Exo-King for control of the team, which Exo-King won.

In my fed Duke actually defeated Exo-King in a match at the final ppv of 2087 for control of the Royal Court. In 2088 I used him as a non-wrestling leader/manager for the group.

I've used Talon and Duke in multiple places but amusingly never 2087.

I'm anal and had to be consistent. When I did a soft reboot of my 2087 fed, I made Talon part of the Space Croppers because it made the good guy and bad guy side even

I asked Tournament Master about this and he said that Red Talon was supposed to be a face. *shrugs*

I as well but having Talon as a heel is an interesting twist.
