Hi, I have a couple of seperate questions.
The first is about a Royal Rumble type match. I have the Legends Companions booklet which I use the battle royal rules when doing a Royal Rumble. One thing I find is that when a wrestler rolls out of the ring his opponenet is immediately thrown out. This works well to keep the match fairly quick but sometimes very good wrestlers get thrown out too easily in my opinion. Has anyone come up with a solution to this?
Also, I'm excited about the new Legends set and when I order it I'll also order the Gang inteference chart along with Dewey Robertson and Johnny Rodz. Until then I'm willing to use a bootleg of any Gang Interefernce charts that ther might be on the board. Can anyone post a link if there is one?
Thanks!

Here's a possibility for the battle royals...
Instead of having "out of the ring" be an immediate elimination, have the wrestler on defense roll PIN. If he rolls under his current Pin rating, he's eliminated. If he rolls over his Pin rating, then the wrestler on Offense continues on Level 3 Offense. With the exception that an "out of the ring (c)" result means the wrestler on Offense continues on Level 2 Offense instead. But the wrestler on defense does not take Fatigue for rolling Pin after an "out of the ring" result. It's simply a matter of seeing if he can avoid getting thrown out of the ring.
You can spice this up by saying rolling doubles over your Pin means the wrestler on Offense has to roll too. And that if he rolls doubles at all, then BOTH men are eliminated.
That could work.

Thanks smathis. I did consider this, my only concern was it might make things much longer when you had guys like Rogers starting on 1. Then again, I could use the beginner's Pin Rating system (the first Pin number). However, then again I think cage ratings would reflect better on battle royal seeding.
Also, for anyone out there, how do I know when the '2mins' are up? Do I use actual time or a number of moves before adding another wrestler?

Werner has created some battle royal rules that are really good. I use them pretty much exclusively now.

Well, Fatigue would still be going up via Finishers and regular Pin results as with any normal match. But if the length of the match is a concern, then just have "out of the ring" increase Fatigue too. That should get the matches going in short order. Or you could go with the beginner's Pin Rating, as you say, and add Fatigue on to that. Or just use the Cage Rating and tack fatigue on to that. In any case, this could be workable. My only problem with the Cage Rating is that it might not reflect the ability level of the wrestlers involved. So, like Frank Gotch or Strangler Lewis would be easier to eliminate than, say, Sabu or Hacksaw Duggan. Not a big deal. But it might be if Lewis or Gotch were your champion... As far as other charts/methods, I've come across a few. But none I'd recommend over the Ringside Companion chart. I keep time by calculating 20 dice = 1 minute. So two minutes would be 40 dice. When I go tabletop, I have two small bowls (easy enough to find with two babies in the house) with 20 six-siders in one. Whenever I roll one, I move it to the other bowl. When the one bowl is empty, I mark down a minute and switch them out.

Thanks for your help, they sound very good. It's only a once a game year show so I've got some time to practice using bootlegs wrestlers as a test.
I'm gald we've got something to look forward to regarding 'originals'. It's been a long time coming and I'm sure all those involved will do a great job. There is a nice mix already!
If anyone knows of a bootleg gang interference chart link I'd be greatful! There is no point ordering anything until I order the next set.

when rolling out of the ring, I roll the guys PIN rating
since keeping time is pretty tough, I have a new wrestler enter after each pin attempt.
