I was putting together my Memphis set which has Humongous and had a thought.
WOuld a card like Humongous be possible? The reason is...does anyone even own the gimmick (since most wrestlers "own" their personna), but soooooooo many people have used this gimmick, it would be impossible for someone to say "Hey, you stole my identity for the game".
FIlsinger could just say, "Well, you stole it from the other 8"
May be a pipe dream...

I would imagine that the production company or whoever owns the rights to the Mad Max films owns the rights to the gimmick as well. After all it was originally a direct and acknowledged rip-off of the movie, as they were saying that the original WAS Humongous from the movie. They flew under the radar with it down south, but if it were a more mainstream promotion using the gimmick, or someone merchandising it, I'm sure it wouldn't go over too well.
Also, with the group that has played Humongous over the years (guys like Mike Stark and Sid, who are said to have been rather "diffucult" to deal with), I'm sure at least one of them would catch wind of it and make more of a problem than it's worth.

Actually good point Mark. I guess it was my wrestling blindness, but totally forgot they basically said he (Humongous) just walked off the Hollywood set when he was intro'ed. So didn't even think of the Mad Max producers Yeah, I've heard stories about Stark...lol.
