Did anyone play the Temple Of Doom arcade game? Although I had never seen the movie up to that point, I went to a neighborhood bowling alley and they had the game. I gave it a try and it was so cool! You could use Indy's whip to swing from place to place (so you wouldn't fall into oblivion, LOL) and they had mine carts! I think I went back the bowling alley every day for the next 2 weeks with a bag of quarters and played the crap out of it! Ah, to be an 80's child, haha. I remember that game. When I had my Super Nintendo I had the video game Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures which covered the entire trilogy. I am not sure this will ever happen, but it would be awesome if Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures along with other JVC and Lucas Arts games such as Super Star Wars, Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back, and Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi could be available to play on my Nintendo Switch.

Hi Well, the reviews for the movie are in! Metacritic has it at only a 53, while IGN has it at... well, see for yourself: Hm. I guess I will wait to stream it for free then on one of my streaming services. Todd C WTIC

Not really a surprise.....you forfeit story for action sequences and clearly are trying to shove another person as the new Indy even though no one will be able to replace Ford.

I will see this movie with an open mind and I have not seen the reviews yet. But I have been concerned about Steven Spielberg not being the director for this movie.

One of two franchises starring Harrison Ford that I loved when I was a kid. I gave the new Star Wars movies a shot when the first of the latest installment came out and got burned. I think I'll leave my warm feelings about another old childhood franchise favorite alone and sit this one out. I think if "Hollywood magic" was a spell it's been broken. .................. Officially not shocked. Called it. blahblahblah, etc.

It can't be worse than the Crystal Skulls movie!

Sometimes I agree with critics and sometimes I don't.
For example, The Super Mario Bros. Movie only got 59% on Rotten Tomatoes but I enjoyed that movie.

I saw this movie in the theater tonight. As I expected, IMO, it is not anywhere close to the quality of Raiders of the Lost Ark or The Last Crusade, but it was good. I don't want to say too much to spoil anything (such as how the movie ends) but I definitely think the first act of the movie and final act of the movie were my favorite parts.

Hi Thanks for the replies, everyone! I have a soft spot for the Temple of Doom! That mining cart scene looked amazing! And in how many other movies do you see someone's heart get ripped out? LOL! Todd C WTIC I agree with you on the mine cart scene. Arguably the best action piece in the entire franchise. However, both Ke-Huy Quan and Indy's love interest were annoying as hell and really detracted from the quality of the movie. (In the immortal words of Stewie "Short Round" Griffin: "Lady only here because she humping director.")
