I discovered this little gem while flipping channels last night. It was on Comet. I missed the beginning 10 minutes or so and did not give my full attention as I was working on one of my feds as I watched but I was still impressed with the movie. It is a lower budget movie but not super low. It has its flaws as most movies, but I feel over all it was a really good movie with a cool idea. I will not try to spoil anything, but it is like a horror version of a popular comedy in a way. Also, it reminded me slightly of John Dies In The End. If you see both movies, you may get what I mean. While I could see several ways the movie would end, I did not know and even was not 100% on how it all went down. You may find it still on Comet this month or other streaming services. Either way if you want to watch I would suggest trying to watch it without censors editing it. I have no issue with language either way, but Comet had it with their mouths covered and silence when they swore so it was a bit off putting. Not a big deal but still. So, yea, I would suggest checking it out if you like popcorn horror movies.

Some bleep them out all together and some modify the words into something non-vulgar. I've heard some funny ones over the years. I remember watching The Usual Suspects once on TV and during the police lineup scene at the beginning they replaced the profanity laced line each suspect had to repeat with "Hand me the keys, you fairy godmother." This is a family friendly forum so I won't type the original line from the film.

Comet has some gems on it sometimes...and some real weird shit too, LOL. So true. The other day they had Saturday the 14th. What an 80's mess. The plot twist was kind of cool but yea, a bad movie. But that is one nice thing about Comet. They show movies that are almost never shown elsewhere. Unlike other networks where you can see a movie, good or bad, that is on other networks. Sometimes even at the same time. Another one I caught recently that was pretty bad was Mausoleum. Some bad acting/writing in that one. One nice part for me was a walk down memory lane when there was a scene inside a mall. Brought back memories of my teen years and saw a familiar store or two.

Do you watch Stranger Things? A lot of 80's mall action in that show.

I cannot remember if I have seen Night of the Demons. Might have to check it out. Last night they had Hobgoblins. Wiki says the budget was $15,000. Not sure where $10,000 of it went. VERY low budget and cheesy. I watched the first three seasons of ST and yea I was LOVING the mall scenes. I watched Wonder Woman 1984 just for the mall scenes but was disappointed with how short they were. Fits the rest of the movie.
