There better not be Online Exclusives! I HATE that when folks make something unavailable to one group than another. If it is made for one make it for the other even if said exclusive doesn't show up until the next printed set. Start getting into that exclusive crap and you can lose customers quickly.

I also prefer the artwork. I do have a question though. Lets say someone like me has purchased all the card stock cards , can they then enter the cards in manually into LOW online or are they forced to buy them all digitally as well? ? They sell blank digital bootleg cards in groups of 5 and 20 . This should solve the problem of some wrestlers not being available

I'm responding to this post, but it applies to many others (I'm not trying to single out CPB). Everyone needs to take a deep breath before responding to "ideas" from other game fans. If someone from FG makes an announcement, as clients we have the right to voice our opinions. If a peer voices an idea, we have that same right. However, I'd rather see people maintain a civil tone and maintain some "decorum please." I just spent a weekend with a number of promoters who had a wide range of ideas on how to play the game and what's best about it. Some thought that Hector the Holy Brown Bear was awesome, some thought that he's a dud. Some thought RVD was perfect, while others would have preferred different art and better stats. Even so, everyone discussed their ideas and walked away feeling good about the discussions. I know that it's hard to read "tone" over the internet, but I'd like to see everyone be a little bit more conscientious about how their comments might be perceived by their friends here on the board.

Back on topic, I wouldn't mind Online Exclusives in some manner. After all, there will be some Printed Exclusives. What's wrong with the reverse?
Besides, some of these exclusives might be cards that we'll never see due to the cost of production of the printed sets. Maybe we'll see a short-lived persona for an existing wrestler or a card dedicated to a brief (but popular) tag team run. In any case, I can imagine a number of scenarios where we'll never see the printed version of a card. So I'd personally rather have an online-only version rather than none at all.

In the end the future is online whether we like it or not, I'm more of an old school cardstock player and prefer that over online. I really would like to see all wrestlers on cardstock but if and when Online Exclusives happen thats life and so we move on...

I have tried reading about COTG Online but I still have a few questions. I have used COTG Desktop. COTG Online looks very similar. Why would I choose to pay for Online when I already have Desktop? Sell me on some of the other features. Is there a yearly subscription or do you just have to pay for the sets? No subscription costs. Legends Online cards will be able to be purchased individually to allow you to custom build your own fed roster. A major difference between Desktop and the COTGonline Game Table is that there is no extra work required (meaning you don't have to type up card backs and scan and upload artwork). Another huge plus is that there are click of a button results (with the various Simulators) to allow you more focus on booking and writing. Simming is also a useful tool for people who want to run shows at a faster pace (or maybe skip through a match that might not be the most exciting to sit there and roll out move for move). COTGonline allows you to do more than just get match results...it's a complete way to store all of your fed results in a neat, portable package. Log-in from anywhere and you've got you're entire fed (wrestler cards, results, charts, dice, etc). Just listing out the features that COTGonline features that Desktop doesn't as they pop into my head... -Official move sets already programmed into the system -Photos and official artwork already programmed into the system -Play-by-Play Simulator (select wrestlers, managers, type of match, type of ref, # of times to run simulation. Click one button and full results are listed) -Battle Royal Simulator (select # of wrestlers, click the button, and an entire Battle Royal is simmed move by move) -Set up your entire card, then play or sim each match with easy result recording -the system stores all written (typed) results - you can then easily view as well as search through everything -Rankings are generated for your top wrestlers (based on which "ranking personality" you choose) -Win/Loss Standings are kept for all wrestlers -Title Histories for all your feds championships -Ability to share results with others either in the system or import your results here to the boards -A "gallery" that shows your digital card collection. Here you'd view the card art (photo), card back, character "file" (bio), and all their match results in your fed Hope you find the info above useful! ~ :-Xsk

Osk, I know I plan on getting some CAC cards here soon since I want to catch up and play out Early Classics.
But even if those guys from Legends, who aren't available on line, we could use those for CAC correct?
And can these CAC be used against regular Legends that are used in the online version?
Trying to make sure I understand everything.
So if I'm correct, you could get most Legends and the ones who aren't in Legends, just purchase a CAC card(s) right?
And can the Sims be run with CAC vs a Legends guy in online?
(I'm looking for more Simulator versions since playing is pretty hard when you are married, kids, work, keep up a house, etc. I'd love to be able to play a Legends card in minutes...although I'd miss the dice)

Has the individual card price been decided yet?
