I’ve been away from the game for a while, and just got the 2124 set in the mail today. I've read the handbook already, and while I do like some of the art, and some of the storylines…I’m still a couple years away from that date in my fed, and am having trouble motivating myself to get back into it.
Which leads me to my question about the Classic Era stuff. I bought the 2086 set when I first got into the game, but never went back and picked up the 2074, 2079 and 2084 sets. The ‘addition’ set piqued my interest when it came out, but again, I'm a one fed at a time kind of guy, so I didn't bite. But I’m thinking of ordering the 2074 set to give the manual a read and see some of the cards up close.
So, IF I wanted to start a GWF fed starting in 2074…would I need to buy the 2079 set as well as the Classics ‘expansion set’, or are none of the 2079 guys active in 2074? Money is tight, so that’s why I’m asking.
If someone could post a sort of ‘opening day roster’ for the GWF circa 2074 that would be great too!

I am assuming you are thinking of buying Early Classics or just using the 8 card sets for Classics sets. But you need Morpheus and Omega for your 2074 fed, but they are in the 2079 set.

Thanks Double A.
I had kind of figured that Omega and Morpheus were there from the start.
Do you know how many of the E.C. add on wrestlers are active in 2074. Looking at the list, I'm guessing a good 6-8 of them, with others joining up over time?

I'm at work on lunch right now, so don't have anything on me. If no one gets you an answer, I can get it tomorrow.
I'm currently doing an Early Classics fed along with my Legends and its fun stuff.

how does one buy EC? I don't see a set for it in the online shop In order to get the most out of playing the Era the EC set is indispensable. It's listed under Alternative Universe: GWF Early Classics of the 2070s - 2080s 2010 will be a huge year for the Classics Era...and cumulatively a year out from that the full range of options that will be available to players of the brand will be both unique and mind blowing. Enjoy the ride!

Sweet. I don't want to jump in though if I need 2084 so soon. Does anyone know if that set is being reprinted?
