So I just started 2118 Entropy last night and as I'm reading through the story of the "Cosmic Battle" is seems that the whole point it to send everyone back to their own dimension/universe/whatever. However, aren't Endgame, Valour, Reckless, etc. from another dimension? I've read the New Beginnings handbook, but it doesn't seem to explain how the utter destruction that would be caused by having people from other dimensions here is averted in these special cases.
How did you guys explain that in your fed?

Forgive me if I'm not remembering this correctly, therefore, my reply may be of no help and somebody may feel free to correct me, but I don't believe that the potential destruction of the universe would have been caused specifically by the presence of these men. I think the danger was that the portals connecting the dimensions had been breeched and free travel would lead to unbalance. So it wasn't as if the clock was ticking and if Valour didn't get out the universe would disinegrate. While the presence of Valour, Reckless et al. wasn't necessarily good, it wasn't enough to destory the universe. It was just that the potential for destruction was there unless Vallah was able to get the portals closed permanently.
I guess it was as if dimension hopping had run amuk, and basically needed to be controlled and Vallah was the guy to do that. When Reckless and Valour were left behind, they were essentially trapped, unless Vallah took the risk of moving them through.
Does this all make sense?

Sort of. It's just that when I was reading the 2118 handbook, Rocket specifically asks the question about why guys like Desolation Factor and Endgame would help Vallah and his team because if they won they would be FORCED to return to their own dimension.
"Rocket: There's one thing I don't get. Why would these guys want to be on your side? If you win, they have to return to their own dimension or realm, right?
Vallah: These men are heroes in every sense of the word. They understand that their presence in this dimension has broken Cosmic Law and they are willing to return. Some, like Aegis, are anxious to return."
Seems that if their presence is "BREAKING COSMIC LAW" then just having them stick around for no good reason doesn't make much sense.
It doesn't much matter because it seems like the whole point of New Beginnings is that the roster was overblown and there were so many storylines that had gone off into weird tagents that they needed to be just severed and restarted, but I was hoping to see how individual promoters explained the events in their specific feds.
Just asking.

A few people/creatures don't unbalance the dimensions. It's when huge amounts of people move back and forth that there's a problem. Plus it could have just been hyperbole since the villains in that instance weren't exactly moving dimensions with good intentions.
I honestly don't know about Endgame (I didn't even know he was from a different dimension), but Reckless wanted to stay in this dimension while Valour was punished for his attitude. He was forced to stay in the dimension against his will.

2118 says he's from Dimension X.

He wrestled in DX, but he is originally from Corvus.
From COTG Files: "He is from the highly evolved race called the Astrals residing in the Corvus system."
