So today is the anniversary of the discovery of Deimos... And the fact was on the Wikipedia frontpage, so I check it out, and here it is, the place where the GWF calls home, and the largest of the GWF arena's is. Yet... does not see to be that big.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deimos_(moon)

Interesting facts there. Yes, Deimos and Phobos are very small, but I never let that bother me as far as the GWF was concerned. Kind of like how all those bikers go to little Sturgis, South Dakota, for big events.

I always pictured it as the entire moon being the arena, as shown on the original booklet.. sort of a 'sports complex' that housed the arena, offices, training area, etc... I think the Deimos is just about the right size for that

Believe it or not, this is the actual first picture I had ever seen of the moon, I guess I always assumed it was like our moon. It is so awesome now that we have these great telescopes. As well as these missions sent out to explore the planets and moons. We have learned so much since the game began. We even have new planets and moons in our own solar system. That is just awesome. What a wondrous age we live in.

I read that Deimos is slowly moving closer to Mars and eventually will crash into the planet or dissolve and form a ring around it.
That should make Sudden Death 50,000,000 verrrrrrrry interesting.

Gladiators to the rescue the Titans? Or the Fall of the Titans? Hmmm
