Well since I have not seen a fed that keeps going for more than about a month and a half I am thinking of creating a running fed starting in 2087 and going forward from there bringing in the new editions as time goes on. What does everyone think of this? Would ou enjoy reading an on-going fed? Right now I am in March 2087 of my reboot. It is a pretty interesting story right now. Executioner is feuding with Star Warrior. Thantos started off great but started losing his head and Wolf has the best win record in the entire federation right now. So I am polling to see what everyone thinks.

I have seen a few but they tend to drop off. I would love to see a fed like I describe. Starting in 2087 and going up until the current game edition so you would have a full history.

So I am polling to see what everyone thinks. I ran one for 6-12 months like this. People read it. I fell off in 2093. Not sure where the Feds only post for a month and a half comes from, not really the best way to stir up interest in your fed. I think a lot of people are interested in todays stuff and a lot like to reminisce about the beginning. The middle years would be tough to garner interest but everyone has a soft spot for 2087.

I just started a 2087 fed. I have posted results from the sample fight card already. I've decided to run six PPV per year with probably three additional TV cards between each. All of this begins with a tournament to rank the wrestlers and determine new belt holders since I am vacating the belts. I am going to use the published storyline while melding in my own storyline bits as things come up.
Good luck with your fed. I look forward to reading it.

My GWF has never been restarted. Played 2087 to the start of New Beginnings. I'm not running it anymore though. Maybe someday but I will pick up where I was. No starting over.

Yeah, I've never done a restart either. I'm only in 2112 because I took several years off, but I have still gone straight through. Check the links below for both the backstory and my feds in 2112. All my threads have been there for a long time. No stopping at a month and a half here.

I keep posting my feds as if they were like the WWE today with a regular weekly TV show. Possibly this schedule resulted in my burning out previously. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what a good number of cards per year is?

26 wouldn't be a bad number bi weekly...

26 wouldn't be a bad number bi weekly... Enough that I would be able to have some storyline, but not so much that I risk burnout. Yes, I think that would work out well. Thanks.
