Switchfoot - I do not remember, did they have a figure of him then? was it the plastic one with bone crunching action?

This set has officially trumped all LOW releases before. Each and every signing thus far for this set is awesome. Im happy to be back to rolling dice again.

Im happy to be back to rolling dice again. right now I rank it as my 3rd fav behind the 1st set (because it had the Road Warriors and because it had twice as many cards as the other sets) and Legends: Originals (I just really liked that set) I never was a huge Magnum TA fan (but he will be a top face that we need), never cared for Andre much either but that signing is a HUGE deal. So far Gordy, Zhukov and Roadkill are the ones I'm most looking forward too.

So far there isn't a guy I'm not looking forward to. That's how good all these signings have been. This is going to pass Vintage as my favorite expansion (Nothing will ever beat the first set)

that is the one I was thinking of. I remember seeing that figure in a store in Lime in like 1999 (I had forgotten that it existed by then), and the guy had it MOC, like that auction, but wanted like $35 for it.

Some of you guys crack me up. Typical posting when a new signing is announced... "Terry Gordy - AWESOME!!! Now, if we could only get these 217 other guys, I'd be all set." It happens when every new signing is announced. Can't you just be happy for a few moments? Just a few? I say this in a joking manner. I'm not trying to start any trouble, but I just think it's funny. Anyhoot, if Magnum's signing was a 10 then Gordy's is a 9.5 on the excitement scale for me! Whether in singles or tagging with Doc, what an excellent addition! I agree that MVC vs. Roadies = ratings gold! Not only is the set good for bringing more faces but also more main eventers in Magnum, Gordy, and (probably) Andre. And to think there's a few more new signings to go!

I've heard MVC mentioned a few times today.
Can anyone explain what it stands for and who was in this group? I'm guessing Terry Gordy was.

MVC= Miracle Violence Connection which is a tag team of Steve Williams and Terry Gordy. They were AJPW Unified World Tag Team Champions, WCW World Tag Team Champions, and the PWI Tag Team of the Year (1992).
