lol Tom knows exactly what he is doing. It's the people who don't understand what the word "obscure" means who are setting themselves up for disappointment. Agreed...Just saying, he mentioned he didn't want people to get the wrong idea, but he may have underestimated the level of anticipation of this set... That could be true. Tom is a humble guy. He seems to be sometimes surprised with the levels of excitement the games generate. With that said I know he lives for the excitement everyone has for every announcement. He wouldn't have it any other way. It's pretty inspirational to sit back and know this whole ride started back in the 70's with Tom bored in school...his concept passed up by the WWF in the 80's...now here we are going into 2010, seeing Legends Partners being picked up by several major wrestling websites, writers etc...thanks to first RVD and now Andre the Giant. Tom and LOW is a 100% straight up success story.

I too have loved the build up for each name. The hints all along and Monday Night Legends has been excellent. I look forward to Mondays with future releases.
That said, this set ranks pretty low for me compared to past sets. Obviously Andre is a HUGE signing but he isn't technically part of the set. I guess for me there isn't anyone that I was a huge fan of. I am sure that sounds weird to alot of people but that is just my honest opinion of the set so far. The thing is, I can see how big alot of these signings are...I mean, George Steele, Terry Gordy, Hillbilly Jim, Magnum TA. It has the star power but they just aren't my personal favorites. Of course I am still buying the set as soon as it comes out and I am sure I will figure out what to do with each of the cards.
The great thing about LOW though, is that it has forced me to learn about alot of wrestlers I may have never given the chance. I doubt that I would have ever thought much about Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Dick Hutton or even Ox Baker. But now I find all of them very interesting in their own ways. I will definitely be doing the same with the Partners wrestlers.

No one in LP is someone I'm really wanting, save for maybe Roadkill (I'm thinking of teaming him with Gang; hopefully he's as good as Gang so the two work well together.).
