On a side note the angle with Moose challenging Bryan Danielson came off of a roll on the David Marquez card. I am really enjoying that card it has the potiental to shake things up in the IWA which is a good thing. Thanks again for reading and commenting on the action. Continue to wish that card was available online... Would pick it up in a heartbeat... Seems like there's some really cool possibilities on there... It really is a shame that some things aren't available to all players. I don't think the David Marquez card was ever made official so that might be why it isn't available online. There are also some things available online with no official card available such as Jimmy Hart and Sunny cards with wrestling stats. It's just one of those strange things about an otherwise awesome gaming experience.

IWA King of Trios - Night Two - National Guard Armory - Philadelphia, PA (Card #909)
1) Rey De Voladores – Match One: Frightmare defeated Chris Sabin, Steve O’Reno and Johnny Yuma: The first of two four-way elimination matches to determine the finalists in Rey De Voladores on Night Three featured Chris Sabin, Steve O’Reno, Johnny Yuma and Frightmare who won the event two years ago under the CHIKARA banner. This was an amazing opening bout that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. All four men brought it and the match was filled with a slew of near falls and even some timely pin saves. One such save saw Yuma save O’Reno from a counter sunset flip by Frightmare but then moments later Frightmare hit the same move on Yuma to score the pin. Yuma was the first man out and he was none too happy about it. O’Reno then put in and impressive performance against both Sabin and Frightmare but unfortunately he was ousted next. That came courtesy of Hail Sabin, a cross legged sitout scoop piledriver, with Sabin scoring the pin on O’Reno. An alert Frightmare then pounced on Sabin and hit back to back doses of Kneecolepsy, a standing moonsault double knee, to score the pin. It was a huge win for Frightmare who hopes to become a two-time winner of Rey De Voladores.
Order of Elimination:
● Frightmare pinned Johnny Yuma – Counter Sunset Flip ● Chris Sabin pinned Steve O’Reno – Hail Sabin ● Frightmare pinned Chris Sabin - Kneecolepsy
2) The Castle Experience: Dalton Castle defeated Ron Hutchison: In what was dubbed “The Castle Experience”, not to be confused with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, it was Dalton Castle out of Albany, NY, taking on Toronto, Ontario, Canada native Ron Hutchison. Castle was accompanied to the ring by his Boys who proceeded to set up like a lounge chair so Castle could take a rest during the ring introductions. The well traveled Hutchison looked on in disbelief waiting for the opening bell. Hutchison would dominate this one early frustrating Castle who was waved with fans by his Boys as he tried to regain his composure. Eventually Castle hit a low blow and took over on offense including scoring a near fall with a spin-out facebuster. The finish saw Castle trap Hutchison in a Bearhug which he cinched on and scored the submission victory taking the hold down to the canvas. The flamboyant Dalton was flanked by his Boys as he returned to the back to a mixed reaction. Castle is not under an IWA contract but he may get some offers after his impressive performance in this match.
3) Rey De Voladores – Match Two: ACH defeated Tyler Black, Rich Swann and Matt Sydal: The second of the four-way elimination matches to determine the opponent for Frightmare in the Rey De Voladores finals at Night Three saw last year’s winner Tyler Black in there with ACH, Rich Swann and “Born Again” Matt Sydal. This was another great field of talent but only one could move on to the finals. Black was pretty much the MVP of the match having some stellar offensive displays but he ultimately missed the Phoenix Splash three times during the bout. It was Swann that went out first when after a great sequence he was caught by Sydal with the Shooting Sydal Press resulting in the pin. ACH then took over attacking both Black and Sydal including hitting trademark moves like the Superhero Grip, a deadlift German Suplex, the Dragonfly, which is his version of the Frog Splash. Black was the next man to go when ACH caught him with the Big Bang Attack, a cradle DDT, to score the pin. ACH and Sydal then engaged in a great battle which saw Sydal come close to winning but ACH caught him with the Big Bang Attack and scored the pin. It was a huge win for ACH who will now go on to face Frightmare in the finals.
Order of Elimination:
● Matt Sydal pinned Rich Swann – Shooting Sydal Press ● ACH pinned Tyler Black – ACH’s Big Bang Attack ● ACH pinned Matt Sydal – ACH’s Big Bang Attack
4) KOT Second Round: Delirious, Rhino, & Matt Taven defeated Matthew Cross, Big Sue Jackson, & Marion Fontaine: The House of Truth (Delirious, Rhino, & Matt Taven, accompanied by manager Truth Martini) advanced to the semi-final round by beating the popular trio of Team OWN – Olde Wrestling Nation (Matthew Cross, Big Sue Jackson, & Marion Fontaine). The crowd was solidly behind the stars from Olde Wrestling as an arrogant Martini taunted them with the Book of Truth. The House of Truth members did a good job controlling the pace early and Delirious nearly pinned Cross after combining with Taven on Hail Mary, a spike piledriver, but Jackson pulled the referee out of the ring. The crowd went crazy when “Big” sue and his 366-pounds were in against Rhino and he nearly pinned the “Man Beast” with the Steamroller. The finish of a hard fought bout saw Taven counter a single leg trip by Cross and follow up with the Rope Hung Neckbreaker on the Team OWN leader to score the pin.
5) KOT Second Round: El Generico, Scott Parker. & Shane Matthews defeated The Colony: Two of the most popular teams in the tournament faced off as The Colony (Fire Ant, Soldier Ant, & Green Ant) took on 3.Ole (El Generico, Scott “Jagged” Parker, & “Big Magic” Shane Matthews). The crowd was clearly split in their support but of the six men it was Generico who was an overwhelming favorite coming to the ring to thunderous chants of “Ole, Ole. Ole!” Generico and Fire Ant had a great exchange early before the ants hit Ants Go Marching on Parker for a big near fall. Parker made a nice comeback and 3.Ole wound up hitting the Super 3.Ole Kick on Soldier Ant for another big near fall. Things picked up in intensity from there and after a battle on the floor it was Parker catching Soldier Ant by surprise with the Flash Roll-Up to score the pin. Just like that it was all over and the team of 3.Ole advanced to the semi-final round where they will face the House of Truth. On the flip side it was yet another year where The Colony missed out on winning the tournament.
6) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: Roderick Strong© defeated Michael Elgin to retain the title: The LOW Tex-Arkana Television title was up for grabs as the “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin, a former two-time ROH Heavyweight champion, challenged House of Truth member Roderick Strong for the belt. Elgin lost to Mike Quackenbush in the match to determine the first IWA Heavyweight champion during WrestleCade IX weekend and so he was looking to grab gold again. That was evident throughout the early part of the match as the powerful Elgin completely dominated Strong. He hit such moves as the cravate with knees, spinning Backfist and lariat to punish the champion. An Elgin Bomb led to a big near fall and a second one saw manager Truth Martini provide a distraction saving Strong from defeat. Strong finally battled back into it and twice hit the Sick Kick for near falls. Elgin weathered the storm and was able to trap Strong in the crossface submission causing Martini to pace nervously at ringside. A short time later after a counter by Strong he caught Elgin with End of Heartache, a suplex dropped into a double knee backbreaker, and scored the pin. It was a successful version four defense of the title for Strong and capped off another successful night for the House of Truth.
7) KOT Second Round: Joey Ryan, Chuck Taylor, & Trent Barreta defeated Rob Van Dam, Ricochet, & PJ Black by DQ: It was Sky High (Rob Van Dam, Ricochet, & PJ Black) against the Sleazy Best Friends (Joey Ryan, Chuck Taylor, & Trent Barreta) to determine who would advance to the semi-final round on Night Three. This was a really good bout with a lot of give and take and some nice near falls. RVD hit the Five Star Frog Splash on Taylor at one point but a delayed cover allowed the “Kentucky Gentleman” to kick out just before the three count. Ricochet went for the 630 Senton on Barreta but missed and then rolled out of the ring leading to a tag in for both sides. Ryan took advantage of that and quickly nailed Black with a spear for a near fall. Barreta picked up another near fall for his side when he caught Black with a top rope Frankensteiner. This one would in controversy when RVD set up Taylor for the Van Terminator and hit the devastating move but before he could go for the cover the referee called for the bell. He ruled it a disqualification win for Sleazy Best Friends based on the execution of a chair assisted attack by RVD. Team Sky High vehemently argued with the referee about the decision as the same move won their first round bout over the House of Humperdink but the decision was allowed to stand.
8) KOT Second Round: AJ Styles, Matt Jackson, & Nick Jackson defeated Tursas, Brodie Lee, & Jay Lethal: The final match of the second round saw Project VAL (Tursas, Brodie Lee, & Jay Lethal, accompanied by manager SoCal Val) taking on Bullet Club (AJ Styles & The Young Bucks, Matt & Nick Jackson). The team led by SoCal Val enjoyed a clear size advantage and also had the speed of Lethal to keep up with the members of Bullet Club. Styles led Bullet Club into battle going one-on-one with the massive Tursas in the early going. They had a great exchange which ended with Styles nailing him with the Pele Kick. That set up the Bucks hitting More Bang For Your Buck on Tursas but he kicked out at two tossing Nick halfway across the ring. One of the most incredible moments of the match saw The Bucks and Styles combine to lift the 375-pound Tursas up to deliver the Indytaker leading to a big near fall. Val was upset at what was taking place and called for Lethal to finish it. He never had the chance as the actual finish saw Styles come off of the top rope with Spiral Tap on Lee to score the pin. It was a huge win for Bullet Club as they advanced to the semi-final round on Night Three where they will face the team of Sleazy Best Friends.

Night two of King of Trios kicked things off in exciting fashion... Frightmare and ACH came out on top of some impressive competition in the Rey De Voladores... Looking forward to their matchup... And it wwas very cool that Dalton Castle may have scored himself an IWA contract with his performance... He is truly entertaining and would like to see more of him...
The KoT continues to fire on all cylinders... Team OWN unfortunately got eliminated, but no shame to them... The House of Truth is potentially one of the best teams in the tournament... Would've liked to see Team Sky High make it through another round... But, the Sleazy Best Friends managed a cheap upset (in my books)... Let's see how they manage when they come up against Bullet Club...
Roddy Strong was simply exceptional... Taking nothing away from the power of Elgin... But, the champion used his technical superiority to retain the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title... Nice work!
As always, you're constructing a high impact event that never fails to hold my attention and make me hungry for the next round... Thank you for sharing!

Oh well Project VAL on the losing side, but the Bullet Club are tough. That's a really cool victory for Frightmare, plus seeing Roderick Strong is a good thing...

Great victories by ACH and Frightmare to advance in the Rey De Voladores and the finals should be a spot fest crowd thriller. Elgin continues to struggle in the big matches coming up short against the always tough Roderick Strong. Looked like an awesome match. The Indytaker on Tursas was nuts and would have brought the house down. Looking forward to Sleazy Best Friends taking on the Bullet Club. Hoping for an upset in that semi-final. Picking 3.0 Ole to make it past he HOT.

Another outstanding card! I can't agree with Bookerbill- the Bullet club is going over the Sleazebags on the path to taking the KOT championship. Frightmare is an underrated talent and I always love to see him come out on top.

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Crimson, Bookerbill and Daytondave. It is greatly appreciated. I had a chance to finish up King of Trios so here is the final night, hope you enjoy the action...
IWA King of Trios - Night Three - 2300 Arena - Philadelphia, PA (Card #910)
1) KOT Semi-Final Round: Delirious, Rhino, & Matt Taven defeated El Generico, Scott Parker, & Shane Matthews: The crowd was solidly behind 3.Ole (El Generico, Scott “Jagged” Parker, & “Big Magic” Shane Matthews) as they took on the House of Truth (Delirious, Rhino, & Matt Taven, accompanied by manager Truth Martini). The winning team would advance to the finals and Martini, holding up his Book of Truth, had a great time as he taunted the ringside fans. The team of 3.Ole looked great during the early action including hitting the Super 3.Ole Kick. Matthews trapped Delirious in the Boston Crab! for what looked to be a submission but the masked man managed to get to the ropes for a break. Rhino was the MVP for his team using his brute force to dominate whenever he was in. He nailed Matthews with a side Belly to Belly Suplex for a near fall at one point. Taven and Delirious also teamed up for a double-team super kick on Generico for another near fall. The finish of a hard fought battle saw Rhino muscle Matthews up for a Running Powerslam to score the pin.
2) KOT Semi-Final Round: AJ Styles, Matt Jackson, & Nick Jackson defeated Joey Ryan, Chuck Taylor, & Trent Barreta: The Sleazy Best Friends (Joey Ryan, Chuck Taylor, & Trent Barreta) were the crowd favorites in this match against Bullet Club (AJ Styles & The Young Bucks, Matt & Nick Jackson) although a number of Bullet Club t-shirts were spotted throughout the building. Styles did a great job early of getting the better of Ryan and preventing him from tagging out. The Bucks joined in and the three had things going their way until Ryan executed the Walk Off on Nick scoring a near fall. A great spot saw the popular Taylor going for a super kick on Styles but he ducked out of the way and struck back with the Pele Kick. The Bucks provided some great offense using their trademark double-team moves which had the Sleazy Best Friends in trouble. Barreta looked great during his time in and caught Matt with a top rope Frankensteiner and double foot stomp for a near fall. In the end it would be Bullet Club coming away with the win when Nick scored the pin on Taylor after teaming with Matt on the Meltzer Driver, a springboard spike tombstone piledriver. The victory by Bullet Club set up a highly anticipated final round match against the House of Truth.
3) Adam Pearce defeated Shaun Ricker by Count Out: This was a match specially arranged by IWA Commissioner David Marquez based on the rivalry that Shaun Ricker had with “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce back in their Championship Wrestling from Hollywood days. The two longtime rivals, now a part of the IWA, went at it with aggression from the opening bell. Pearce gained control and hit the Jumping Piledriver several times but Ricker refused to stay down. A swinging neckbreaker resulted in another big near fall before Ricker, who was busted open by this point, began mounting a spirited comeback. He managed to execute the Gravy Train, his version of the Celtic Cross, but he was late in making the cover and Pearce kicked out at two. After Pearce connected with a Superfly Splash, a bloody Ricker bailed out of the ring where the match continued. Pearce gained control and laid Ricker out with a spinebuster on the floor before rolling back inside to secure a count out victory.
4) Paul London defeated Brian Kendrick: PCW star Brian Kendrick and GWA star Paul London met in a rematch from a recent edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling (Episode 48), a match that saw Kendrick get the win to earn a shot at the LOW Junior Heavyweight title at WrestleCade IX. IWA Commissioner David Marquez negotiated with both PCW and the GWA to gain the rights to this rematch to be featured as part of King of Trios weekend. The two had a long history as tag team partners in LOW but were forced to disband after a loss to the Midnight Express and went their separate ways. Kendrick maintained his popularity while in recent months London has gone off the deep end including having to serve a lengthy suspension after slapping beloved ASW announcer Lance Russell. The action was explosive from the opening bell with both men taking to the air. London hit a 450 Splash and Kendrick countered with a shooting star press. Both men were then laid out on the floor with Please Don’t Die!, a wild dive over the ropes by London onto Kendrick. Kendrick recovered and picked up a near fall with Electric Mayhem, a diving codebreaker. London was shaken up but he bounced back and got the win when he hit the Shooting Star Press on a prone Kendrick to score the pin.
5) Kings of Wrestling defeated Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas: IWA Commissioner David Marquez ruled that this match between Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) and the Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) would determine the number one contenders for the IWA tag team titles held by the Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian). The Portal were seated at ringside where they were confronted by WGTT based on beating them to become the first champions during WrestleCade IX weekend. The Kings tried to take advantage by jumping WGTT from behind but it backfired. Benjamin quickly sent Hero into the ring and hit Paydirt resulting in a big near fall just moments into the match. That set the tone for a wild battle between two times that were rivals during their time in Ring of Honor. Castagnoli was the standout in the match as he was able to dominate during his time in including using the giant swing on Benjamin after countering a T-Bone Suplex. After some great back and forth action it was Hero who won it for KOW when he hit Haas with the controversial Loaded Rolling Elbow to score the pin. Hero and Castagnoli celebrated their win by tossing Benjamin to the outside and standing over a fallen Haas while gesturing towards the Osirian Portal who clutched the tag team titles. The championship match between the Osirian Portal and the Kings of Wrestling will take place at Legion Stadium in El Monte, CA (Card #912).
6) Rey De Voladores Finals: ACH defeated Frightmare: Frightmare, a three-time Young Lions Cup holder in CHIKARA and a former Rey De Voladores winner, looked to add to his accolades as he faced Austin, TX, native ACH in the finals. The crowd was anticipating an epic battle and they got one as the two high flyers engaged in a brilliant battle. A great sequence saw Frightmare with an overhead cartwheel kick that was countered with a dropkick and the Tiger Mask by ACH. Both men went to the top rope several times and it was ACH hitting a missile dropkick followed by the Big Bang Attack for a near fall. Frightmare survived the punishing finisher, which is a cradle DDT, but he was left in a bad way. ACH moved in for the kill and hit the Big Bang Attack for a second time but again Frightmare kicked out just before the three count. The frustration showed on the face of ACH as the battle continued. The crowd rallied behind Frightmare as he made a late comeback but a third delivery of the Big Bang Attack proved to be the decisive blow and ACH scored the pin. The crowd cheered the victory by ACH and when he recovered it was Frightmare shaking hands with him in a classy move. Both men are under independent contracts but it would not be surprising to see IWA officials pursue contract opportunities with them in the future.
7) Fight Without Honor: Kevin Steen defeated Jon Davis: The rivalry between Jon Davis and Kevin Steen started back in Ring of Honor when Steen, upset over not being given an IWA contract feeling he that didn’t have to earn one, assaulted Davis and a ring attendant. Davis was put out of action and Steen went on to defeat El Generico in a Fight Without Honor to earn his contract. Davis then surprised everyone by showing up unnanounced and distracting Steen causing him to lose his match on the IWA debut show in Las Vegas, NV (Card #899). That set off a wild out of control brawl between the two and led to IWA Commissioner David Marquez sanctioning this Fight Without Honor. He also added a stipulation that Davis would receive an IWA contract if he won which angered Steen and added even more intensity to the match. This match was brutal from the opening bell and by the time it was over Davis was a bloody mess. The aggressive Steen pounced on Davis early and even took to the air hitting the high-angle senton bomb and 450 Splash. He took it to the outside several times and used a ladder, a chair and even a kendo stick to batter Davis. It looked to be all over when Davis rebounded and sent Steen head first into the ring post. Back inside it was a lariat delivered by Davis and 3 Seconds Around The World that resulted in a big near fall. The two men battled furiously from there even going over the guard rail and into the crowd. Steen regained the upper hand in the latter stages and repeatedly ran Davis head first into the ring post. That led directly to the finish as back inside it was Steen planting Davis with F-Cinq to score the pin. Steen won the match and denied Davis his opportunity to win an IWA contract. As a bloody Davis was assisted from the ring it was Steen gesturing around his waist indicating he wanted the IWA Heavyweight title.
8) KOT Final Round: Delirious, Rhino, & Matt Taven defeated AJ styles, Matt Jackson, & Nick Jackson: Sixteen teams entered but only two remained in the final round of King of Trios as it was the House of Truth (Delirious, Rhino, & Matt Taven, accompanied by manager Truth Martini) taking on Bullet Club (AJ Styles & The Young Bucks, Matt & Nick Jackson). The crowd was heavily into Bullet Club, a trio without IWA contracts, as the House of Truth received most of the jeers likely due to their affiliation with Martini. The brash and arrogant manager was again taunting ringsiders with the Book of Truth as he looked to lead his men to a monumental victory. Styles set the tone early as he charged at Delirious and hit the running enzuigiri. Delirious was shaken up but he came back quickly and hit Shadows Over Hell covering Styles for a two count. The match continued at a frenzied pace with both sides coming close to victory several times. Martini nearly had heart failure several times as well. The Bucks showed off their great teamwork and also showed why Bullet Club will be a danger anywhere they go as Styles has seemed to bring out the best in the arrogant young tag team. In the end, though, it would be the House of Truth coming away with the big victory. After Delirious planted Nick with a Bizzaro Driver on the floor, which nearly resulted in a count out decision, it was Rhino blasting him with the Gore! back inside to score the pin. The crowd jeered the win by the House of Truth as Martini joyfully jumped up and down around ringside.
IWA Commissioner David Marquez, who was joined by other luminaries such as Cary Silkin and Gape Sapolsky, entered the ring afterward to present the House of Truth with their King of Trios medals. Dr. Mike Lano took photos from ringside as Martini grabbed the medals and gave them to Delirious, Rhino and Taven. The four were then joined by LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion Roderick Strong, the cornerstone of the House of Truth, to continue the celebration. As Bullet Club looked to leave the ring it was Martini ordering his men to attack them. The Bucks were quickly tossed to the outside as a four-on-one attack commenced on Styles, the leader of Bullet Club. Styles was laid out before Strong, Delirious and Taven lifted him up for the final insult – a Gore! from the “Man Beast” Rhino. The crowd jeered as the victorious House of Truth returned to the locker room clutching their medals and the television title. The Bucks then returned to the ring and helped Styles get back to his feet with the three then calling Marquez back into the ring. Styles said that they don’t have IWA contracts but that Bullet Club is a freelance faction and that they will be back to take out the House of Truth. Marquez said that he normally wouldn’t do it but that due to the post-match attack he was going to give Bullet Club another shot at revenge and said that they could have an eight-man tag team match with Strong, Delirious, Rhino and Taven in Danbury, CT (Card #919). Styles agreed to it and said that Bullet Club will introduce a new member to even up the sides drawing cheers from the crowd.

Right off the top we find out that we'll be treated to House of Truth facing off against Bullet Club in the KoT final... How could anything hold up against that kind of anticipation?
Then you proceed to deliver one incredible confrontation after another... My personal favorite was Kendrick vs. London... Note that those two each hold a win apiece over the other, in looking forward to seeing a rubber match...
Great to see Hero & Claudio win a shot at the IWA Tag Team Championship... And the Fight Without Honor between Steen and Davis was absolutely brutal... Now that he's managed to deny Davis a contract with IWA, it looks like Steen is going to focus ALL of his energy on claiming the big prize... Is anyone safe?
Then we come to the main event and the King of Trios final... Although I was hoping for a Bullet Club triumph, this contest was an absolute pleasure to follow... And the post-match assault on Styles, setting up a HUGE eight-man encounter... UNBELIEVABLE! Who will arrive as Bullet Club's fourth man? There are so many possibilities, I can't even begin to guess...
IMO, this was perhaps one of your most amazing shows to date... Breathtaking action from start to finish!

Really solid event from start to finish. Enjoyed the conclusion and any time you can leave the fans wanting to see the next card is a good thing.

Really solid event from start to finish. Enjoyed the conclusion and any time you can leave the fans wanting to see the next card is a good thing. I agree with Book and I'd like to add too bad Frightmare lost in the Rey De Voladores Finals, but then again a very top notch win for ACH...
