I have a King of the Ring type ppv called Monarch of the Mat and it includes every wrestler in the GWF competing in a tournament format to decide the Monarch of the Mat. In 2087, Exo-King fittingly won it, beating Proteus, Invincible Krakan,Brute, and then Massacre in the final. His enemy Massif won it in 2088 and beat Exo-King in the tournament. Do you have a similar event and if so, who has won it?

Cool name. I'll have to try and remember that one. Back during my first run with the game I waited until 2095 to do this and I think I called it "Sudden Death" (like the game edition - big points for creativity, eh ). This time around I will call it The Odyssey and do it every 3 years so winning it means that much more, kinda like the Olympics.

When I started playing originally (I was 13) I did this (no special name) and when I started up again a couple of years ago (has it really been that long??) I kept the tradition alive. I do a single and a tag-team tournament each year with everyone. Here's the winners:
Wolf (2087, 2091, 2110) Incredible Badger (2088) Exo-King (2089) Thantos (2090) Chaos (2092, 2098, 2099, 2100, 2101) Star Warrior (2093, 2097) Lord Nexus (2094) Alpha Force (2095, 2096) Pegasus (2102, 2105, 2107) Max Shield (2103, 2118) Vengeance (2104) Blazing Skull (2106) Thunder (2108, 2111, 2117) Rising Sun (2109, 2113) Archon (2112) Mensar (2114) Disaster (2115, 2122) Vyper (2116) Bloodline (2119) Encubus (2120, 2121) Havoc (2123)
Tag-Team:
The Gladiators (Brute/Massacre) (2087, 2088, 2090, 2091, 2092, 2093, 2096, 2097) Animal Pack (Incredible Badger/ Battering Ram) (2089) The New Order (Mace/Dreggs) (2094, 2095, 2103) Cosmic Forces (Matter/AntiMatter) (2098) GameMasters (Star Warrior/Thantos) (2099) TitanFury (Rising Sun/Dragonmaster) (2100, 2104) Gladiators (Thunder/Overkill) (2101, 2102, 2106, 2107, 2108) Mercenaries (Vigilante/Soldier of Fortune) (2105) Twin Blood (Dreggs/Sleeze) (2109) Desolation Factor (Rack/Ruin) (2110, 2115) TitanAttack (Ursa Major/Scion Nexus) (2111) Deadly Sins (Vyper/Draconian Sheik) (2112) Gladiators (Malice/Overkill) (2113, 2116) Divided We Fall (Bloodline/Encubus) (2114, 2122, 2123) Fourth Realm (Darkseed/Paterra) (2117) AniMen Horde (Antak/Swarm) (2118) Troubleshooters (Muss/The Bomb) (2119, 2121) Stars and Stripes (American Guy/U.S. Male) (2120)

I run a similar event at the beginning of each year called The Long Run. There is a singles event and a tag event, and every wrestler on the roster competes. The current champs get a bye in the first round of the corresponding tournament. The winner of each event earns the corresponding belt.
From a game mechanics perspective, I like the fact that The Long Run can reset my standings so that I really am starting fresh each year. From a fanboy perspective, I like the fact that nothing is set in stone; every wrestler, even the current belt holder, has to fight to maintain their rightful place.

I just ran what I am calling Survival of the Fittest tournament. It wont be an annual card but I will run it every so often to give the Top Ten Singles guys out there and makes for some interesting matches up plus title swings as well as chances for double champs.
What it is is that I rank the top ten single guys in Percentage, not actual numbers and start out #10 vs. #9. Winner faces #8 and so on.
The first one I ran was tonight in the year 2089. We saw #1 Thantos win over #2 Wolf. #6 Spike did the best beating #7 Mesmer to win the IP title, beating #5 Krakan and losing to #4 Massif via DQ so he won the IP title
