GWF IRON MAN TOURNAMENT
Background: I designed the GWF Iron Man Tournament for my GWF after reading about past NWA/WCW Starrcade Iron Man Tournament events. Although similar in premise, the scoring and number of opponents I use are different; thus making it a little more unique.
Rules:
The GWF Iron Man Tournament is a round-robin tournament (all-play-all tournament) in which each round a seeded wrestler or team (seeds are determined beforehand) fights another wrestler or team. All wrestlers fight each other once, and each round are awarded points equivalent to how the match ended. At the end of the night the wrestlers with the most points are declared the winners. In the event of ties within a bracket, the person (or team) who scored the most points against the tied team is declared the winner. If there is still a tie then the wrestlers tied enter into a sudden death match. The Brackets and scoring are presented bellow.
SINGLE’S TOURNAMENT
TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT
POINT SCORING SYSTEM:
5 Points: For a pin-fall or submission victory.
4 Points: For a count out victory.
3 Points: For a disqualification victory.
2 Points: For a forfeit victory.
1 Point: For any no-decision, draw or double disqualification.
0 Points: For any loss.
