I’m looking at the Catalogue now. What’s the difference between the GWF Files #2 and the CotG Files?

I had the same questions a while back. It's my understandings that there are various incarnations of a similar product. GWF Files #1 ---> GWF Files #2 ---> COTG Files
COTG Files, which I think is only available in PDF, is the most current and complete version. I bought it not too long ago, and I can assure you that it's awesome!

I’m looking at the Catalogue now. What’s the difference between the GWF Files #2 and the CotG Files? The GWF Files 2 is dated but of quality. FG stopped making the print version a few years back so once remaining supplies run dry it will be a collectors item. The hard copy version was replaced by the CotG Files, which is updated to be current with each new set and comes in a downloadable PDF format. If you own CotG Files you will have access to all previous material in the other Files editions, all the entries made from after GWF Files stopped being updated and since its the purchase of a right to download you would have all future updates when new material is added into it (ie. aCe, CPC/POW, new brands, etc).

I'm confused.
Is this something I should be looking into?

I'm confused. Is this something I should be looking into? The GWF and CotG Files are an encyclopedia collection of wrestlers and information from over the years and game sets! If you’re looking to understand character backgrounds and read about them as well as understand the characters in the game a little more, then these are for you.

I'm confused. Is this something I should be looking into? Definitely. I think this is a good reference material to new comers and it is in the Online store for like $20! A great deal and well worth it. Check it out!!! www.filsingergames.com/os-item.php?a=283

Just to give people an update on the COTG Files. Work is currently underway for the next update. I will probably be sending it off to Kris in late May or early June, and hopefully the changed version will be available by the time Galacticon rolls around. Currently it will include updates for Martial Law 2124, aCe Dark Tides, the Legends list, and all of the title listings to include Promoter Online rankings. And, NEW THIS YEAR, THE GWFZ. Work is underway to incorporate all of the characters from the 3 Promoter Madness sets and the 2124 set(s) that Rob and Troy are releasing to update the GWFZ.

*laughs* All I did for the GWFZ sets besides create Nightmare Nikki was to summarize the characters and sets. If that helps with the COTG files, that's great.
COTG Files are definitely great for those who want the history of all the characters especially for things like group affiliation, tag team names, and what finishers are.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake, Troy. Obviously I meant Todd. At least I got the first letter and the total number of letters correct, which at my age is a major accomplishment. Am I allowed to vent since I just had a birthday? Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the COTG Files, and I hope to get the new changes in so it will be available before GalactiCon.
