Heartland Championship Wrestling Old School Saturday Night November 5, 2011 (Card #397) Hara Arena, Dayton, Ohio The show opens with the tune "Old Time Rock 'N Roll" by Bob Seger playing overhead. JR JAMES hits the ring with a sharp business suit and a polished smile as the fans cheer the opening of the show.JR: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Old School Saturday Night! After a tremendous Fifth Anniversary Celebration in the Heartland, it is great to be back in our regular time slot with more Old School professional wrestling action! Congratulations to BOBO BRAZIL for winning the Filsinger Cup tournament, and to the pre-eminent tag team of ANTONIO INOKI & GIANT BABA for emerging victorious in the Filsinger Tag Team Tournament. Tonight, the action continues with more important Old School matches, including a tremendous Main Event pitting the aforementioned ANTONIO INOKI against the legendary DESTROYER! The winner of that match will be awarded a shot at the Kentucky Heavyweight Championship. Now, let's head to the ring for tonight's opening contest! BRAD ARMSTRONG pinned LARRY HENNIG**The opening bout provided several twists and turns, with the momentum changing frequently. Armstrong saw his opening when Hennig missed with a backhand chop, and Brad hit him with a sweet dropkick which sent The Axe reeling. Brad immediately put him down with the Russian Leg Sweep to catch the pinfall. JR: Two marvelous competitors indeed from two renowned wrestling families. All too often, one mistake can change the course of an entire match, and tonight it was a miscalculation by Mr. Hennig that proved costly. MR. FUJI pinned NIKOLAI VOLKOFF**It was a good night for Fuji! The Japanese star used the big Russian's momentum against him, catching Nikolai coming off the ropes and dropping him throat-first across the top rope. Nikolai dropped to the mat, and Fuji finished him with a Banzai Drop. JR: The devious Fuji takes down a much larger opponent. Never underestimate the evil genius of Mr. Fuji! Now, let's take a look at Sheik's partner in another singles contest, against an equally devious foe. The arena turns to black and the tune, "Break the Walls Down" by Sevendust fills the arena. The spotlight shines at the entryway, and the figure of CHRIS JERICHO appears! Jericho: Ladies and gentlemen... welcome... to JERICHO SATURDAY NIGHT! The Ayatollah of Rock And Rollah has been toiling far too long in the minor leagues of the FLW- the smoke-filled bars and the slutty ho's of that Gut Wrenching federation up north. The cheap little tin belt that Rob Bennett gave me for dominating his little territory. The time has come for the Sexy Beast to make my presence felt in the Heartland once again. The beatings begin tonight... and Old School will never... evvveeeerrrrrrrr... be the same... again! THE IRON SHEIK defeated CHRIS JERICHO**** by submissionThe returning Jericho took a pounding in this match. Sheik loaded up the boots and went to work on Jericho, then locked him into a torturous Camel Clutch. Jericho made the bottom rope, forcing Sheik to break the hold, but Sheik immediately went back to the Clutch and Jericho was unable to escape the second application. JR: Second verse, same as the first. Jericho's initial foray into Old School wrestling was without question less than successful. Things are not looking any better for Mr. Jericho after this evening's debacle. Next up, fans- a brand new tag team makes its Old School debut against stuff competition. BOOKER T* & DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE**** defeated ANGELO MOSCA** & THE MOUNTIE**A very strong opening match for Booker and DDP! DDP took a pummeling from Mosca, but managed a comeback when he blasted Mountie with a Diamond Cutter out of nowhere! Page made the hot tag to Booker, who cleaned house and pinned Mosca after the Harlem Hangover. JR: Well done! This new team does not have much experience together, but Booker T is indeed a legendary figure in the annals of tag team wrestling. Team Canada remains one of the top teams in Old School, but they came up short tonight. Next up- a fearsome Canadian and a Polish Powerhouse square off! IVAN PUTSKI pinned KILLER KOWALSKI***The mighty Kowalski met his match tonight. Putski delivered body blow after body blow, winding Kowalski and then punishing him with a massive bear hug. Kowalski fought back, but Putski caught him in the ribs with a vicious knee smash, doubling the big man over. Before the big man could recover, Putski hammered him again with a series of Windmill Forearms and put him down for a three count! JR: Ladies and gentlemen, that was something of a surprise. Kowalski rarely gets taken down so decisively, but Putski is a man's man and no question he got the job done tonight. THE IRON SHEIK* & NIKOLAI VOLKOFF defeated THE FLYING REDHEADS (RED BASTIEN & BILLY 'RED' LYONS**)It was a very competitive match between two skilled teams. After considerable back-and-forth, Sheik caught Lyons in the Camel Clutch and Volkoff annihilated Bastien to prevent the save. Lyons didn't last long before he was forced to give it up. JR: The Camel Clutch has claimed many a victim over the years, and tonight it was Billy Lyons who tasted the agony. Next up, ladies and gentlemen, we bring you a man who has been at the fringes of controversy involving The Pinnacle- one BARRY WINDHAM. Windham's partner MIKE ROTUNDA has been on the outs with The Pinnacle, but after a conspicuous period of silence, Windham chose to compete alongside Rotunda at the Tournament of Champions. We have yet to hear of any repercussions to that decision- but there is no question that the leader of The Pinnacle, BRADSHAW, is not a man to mince words. We'll hear from him soon enough, I am sure- but in the meantime, I am pleased to announce that Windham and Rotunda will be in the ring next week when they challenge for the Old School Tag Team Championship! BARRY WINDHAM defeated DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE* by submissionWindham looked plenty sharp in singles action tonight. After absorbing some stiff shots from DDP, Barry battled back and stunned Page with a hanging vertical suplex. Windham maintained control, and was ultimately able to subdue Page with a Figure-4 leglock. JR: Is there any man in this sport with the versatility of Barry Windham? He can excel in both singles and tag team competition. He has an arsenal of clotheslines and high-impact blows- and tonight, we saw him force a submission over a very capable opponent. If Windham makes a full-fledged commitment to singles competition, he will make a run at any major title belt he chooses. All right, ladies and gentlemen- it's time for tonight's Main Event! MAIN EVENT - KENTUCKY HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH THE DESTROYER defeated ANTONIO INOKI***** by countoutChaos in the Main Event! Inoki and Destroyer fought a very clean and scientific bout. After several minutes, Destroyer found success working over the left leg of Inoki with repeated applications of the single-leg Boston Crab. Inoki was visibly hurting, and nearly succumbed to the Intelligent Sleeper Hold. Inoki managed to get to the ropes, forcing the hold to be broken. As soon as the men locked up again, Destroyer delivered a vicious kick to the injured leg of Inoki! Inoki's knee buckled, and he tumbled out of the ring. He was unable to regain his feet before the 10-count, and the match was awarded to Destroyer. After the decision, STAN HANSEN charged to ringside. Hansen went after Inoki and battered his injured knee with a cowbell! Inoki was helpless as Hansen continued his assault. BRADSHAW came to the entryway and began to scream his encouragement.Bradshaw: Beat him, Stan! Beat him! The Old School Tag Team Titles need to come back to The Pinnacle! Take him out, Stan! Bradshaw grinned as the beating continued. Destroyer came to the aid of Inoki, but Hansen belted him across the side of the head with the cowbell! Destroyer collapsed in a heap. Bradshaw dashed to ringside and joined Hansen in putting the boots to Destroyer. Both Destroyer and Inoki were beaten down when Heartland officials finally made it to ringside. Bradshaw and Hansen left the ring area without further incident. GIANT BABA came to ringside to assist his partner, but Inoki was unable to put any weight on his injured leg. Destroyer remained motionless on the floor, and EMT's were called to place him on a stretcher and wheel him away to the locker room area. JR: A sad ending to a great performance put on by Destroyer tonight. The lust of Bradshaw for Heartland gold seems to know no limits. Inoki is scheduled to join Baba in defending the Old School Tag Team Championship against BARRY WINDHAM and MIKE ROTUNDA next week. Even with Rotunda being on Bradshaw's hit list, the chance bring gold back to The Pinnacle was too much for Bradshaw to resist. Inoki appears to be walking, but only with the assistance of his tag team partner. Destroyer appears to have not been so fortunate. He tried to do the right thing, but he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and wound up becoming collateral damage in the heinous attack by Hansen and Bradshaw. A fine evening of wrestling has ended on an unfortunate note. Nevertheless, ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for joining us tonight. Old School will be back next Saturday night with more great action- quite possibly to include the Old School Tag Team Championship match- but at this point, the status of both the champions and the challengers is yet to be determined. But of course, don't forget to tune in on Wednesday night for the next edition of Warfare. Until then, fans, so long from the Buckeye State!

DAYTONDAVE hits the ring, clapping and waving to the fans as the crowd buzzes.Daytondave: Hey, fans! Welcome back to Wednesday Night Warfare! It is great to be back in the Badger State! The Heartland Fifth Anniversary Celebration was a huge success, and we thank the fine people at Chikara for an outstanding series of tournaments. Tonight, it is back to Heartland business as usual- with a Main Event you won't want to miss! The Warfare Combat Championship is on the line. We'll see the hottest wrestler on Warfare, the Combat Champion TAZ, defends the belt against the popular COLT CABANA. Plus, the debut of a new tag team on Warfare- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show! CHRIS HERO** defeated AL SNOW by disqualificationThe return of Al Snow brought the fans to their feet in the opening bout, and Al didn't disappoint. The goofy Snow kept Hero on the defensive for the majority of the match. When action spilled out of the ring, Snow got a little out of hand and came after Hero with Head. Hero was lucky to escape the blow, but the referee did not take kindly to the infraction and called for the bell. Daytondave: How about that? The first match back with Warfare and Al Snow flips his lid. Some things never change! BETH PHOENIX***** pinned SARAH STOCK*****The Ladies' Division returned to Warfare with a spectacular match! Sarah and Beth went back and forth for over 20 minutes. Sarah dominated the beginning of the match, ducking several clotheslines from Beth and dropping her with a Suicide Dive. Sarah locked in La Reienera on several occasions, but Beth was too strong to succumb to the tortuous hold and the match continued. Beth finally slowed the pace of the match and punished Sarah with backbreakers and a vicious powerbomb! As the match progressed, Beth got stronger. Sarah summoned the energy for a final flurry, but Beth kicked out of the Tiger Driver! Sarah was spent, and Beth went to the Glam Slam. The fans gasped when Sarah managed to get a leg over the bottom rope to interrupt the count! The referee ruled that the match would go on, but Sarah had nothing left. As she staggered to her feet, Beth drilled her with a running spear and finally put her down for the three count. Daytondave: That was an unbelievable match! Give Sarah credit- she showed a lot of heart in that match- but Beth Phoenix is the winner and she deserved it. Great match, ladies! 2 COLD SCORPIO pinned TYLER BLACK*****The match was more competitive than the pinfalls would lead one to believe. Black and Scorpio showed their athleticism in a back-and-forth match. Scorpio caught several near-falls on Tyler as they battled at the turnbuckle. When the action spilled outside of the ring, Scorpio was the tougher man, roughing up Tyler and dropping him on the arena floor with a standing dropkick. Tyler was on his last legs, and before long Scorpio put him away with a brilliant Scorpio Splash. Daytondave: Another terrific throwdown. Those are two of the best athletes in the sport! Next up, a former FLW World Heavyweight Champion is back in action against a guy in a really goofy mask. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS** pinned ULTRAMANTIS BLACK*****Daniels had his hands full with Ultramantis in a fast-paced match. After a hard fight, Daniels hit the Best Moonsault Ever to take the starch out of his foe. Ultramantis kicked out, but Daniels quickly planted him with the Angel's Wings to score the pinfall. Daytondave: Finally, Daniels is back to his winning ways. But where's Velvet Sky? We'll have to keep our eyes on that situation. Perhaps Christy can get the scoop on that for us! We'll see if she can catch up with the former champion while we take a look at Warfare's newest tag team - the YOUNG BUCKS!MNM (JOHNNY NITRO* & JOEY MERCURY* w/ MELINA) defeated THE YOUNG BUCKS (NICK***** & MATT*** JACKSON)Another very exciting match between two well-oiled tag teams. The size of MNM gave them a significant advantage through most of the match, but the Young Bucks escaped numerous pinning combinations and gave MNM a run for their money. The Bucks lit up the arena when they hit Mercury with a pair of 450 splashes, but Joey managed to kick out of the pin. Mercury brought Nitro back into the match, and after a four-way fracas, Nitro nailed Nick with a Superkick that put him down for the count. Daytondave: That was some serious competition! Those Young Bucks can light it up- but they are giving away 40 pounds a guy when they face off with MNM. Mercury and Nitro know exactly what they are doing in that ring and tonight they proved it against a very capable team. Now, let’s head backstage with Christy Hemme, for a word with the former FLW Heavyweight Champion, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS.Christy: Thanks, Daytondave. And thank you also to Christopher Daniels for joining me backstage. Christopher, how are you doing these days? Daniels: Call me Angel. Christy: Ummm… okay… Angel, how are you doing these days? Daniels: No- I meant, call me, Angel! You’re an angel and you should call me sometime. Christy: Yeah… whatever. So where is Velvet tonight? Daniels: I don’t know. Christy: Really? Isn’t she your manager? Daniels: I don’t know. Christy: You don’t know? Do you have a contract with her? Daniels: I don’t know. Christy: Do you know anything? Daniels: My knowledge, Angel, is deeper than you could possibly comprehend. One thing I know intimately, Angel- and that is injustice. Injustice has been served upon the Fallen Angel at inhuman levels- and the time has come for retribution. Christy: What are you planning? Daniels: I am going to destroy AJ STYLES. Christy: Really? Why? Daniels stares into the camera.Daniels: AJ- there once was a time when we were friends. We were partners. You were my brother. That was before you took away everything that this business ever has given me. It wasn’t enough for you to take my title. You took my pride… my dignity… you ROBBED me of my opportunity to return to glory. Why, AJ? Why? Christy: What are you going to do to him? Daniels grins wickedly and rubs his hands together.Daniels: First- I will destroy him limb from limb. Next- I will strip him of his title. Then, he will having nothing left but sniveling, wounded pride. I will stomp that pride into eternal oblivion, Allen Jones, and you will never be heard from again. Daniels laughs maniacally. Christy steps back with trepidation. Daniels: Are you afraid of me, Christy? You should be… no animal is more dangerous than the animal who is cornered in his fight for survival. Christopher Daniels has been the prey for far too long now. The time has come for the Fallen Angel to be transformed. I have become the Lethal Hunter, AJ. When you least expect it- expect it! Daniels turns dramatically and storms away from Christy fill a guttural snarl. Christy turns pale, her eyes widened. She nearly drops the microphone as she stands speechless. Quickly, the scene shifts back to the ring area.Daytondave: That dude is over the edge. AJ- my man- you are in some deep kim chee now. Let’s get back to the ring. JERRY LYNN*** pinned BRENT ALBRIGHT****Lynn survived a wrestling clinic from Albright, who wrapped him up in the Sharpshooter and the Crowbar but could not force the submission. Lynn battled back with a furious aerial assault and finally got the best of the big man with a Cradle Piledriver. Daytondave: Two of Warfare's best wrestlers just put on one helluva match. I thought Albright had that dude finished off at least twice! Kudos to Jerry Lynn for pulling out the W. Now we have two more terrific grapplers ready to lock horns in our next bout. BRIAN DANIELSON pinned ADAM PEARCE*After a night of tremendous wrestling bouts, this was a stinker. Pearce went right for the eyes of Danielson, but Dragon didn't flinch. Danielson unleashed a vicious enzuigiri that put Pearce on dream street, then followed quickly with a mind-blowing Yakuza kick to finish him off. Daytondave: Nice try, Pearce. Just goes to show you- you can never let your guard down on Warfare. Especially against a man like Danielson, who can beat you in so many ways. You think Pearce paid the price in that match? Fans, it's Main Event time- the Warfare Combat Championship! No disqualification, no countout- best man wins! MAIN EVENT: WARFARE COMBAT CHAMPIONSHIP COLT CABANA pinned TAZ***An upset in the Main Event! Taz came out with his usual aggression, but Cabana refused to back down. Colt took the intimidating slaps from Taz without flinching, then decked the champ with a Bionic Elbow. Taz came right back, pounding Cabana with forearms and stomps and planting him with a T-Bone Tazplex. Taz went for the Tazmission, but Cabana escaped with a kip-up and annihilated Taz with a Lariat! Before Taz could recover, Cabana dropped him with the Colt .45 and went for the cover. Taz kicked out, but Cabana executed the Colt .45 a second time and pinned the champion cleanly! COLT CABANA WINS THE WARFARE COMBAT CHAMPIONSHIPDaytondave: Do you believe it? Everybody loves Colt Cabana- dude even hugged me once in Chicago! But NOBODY thought he would be able to take down Taz, especially with Combat Championship rules! But my man knows what he is doing in the ring, and tonight he got the job done. Kudos to Cabana- your new Warfare Combat Champion! All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for hanging out with us tonight! We'll be taking the week off next week- but JR JAMES and the boys of Old School will be here on Saturday night. You will definitely want to check that out- ANTONIO INOKI and GIANT BABA are scheduled defend the Old School Tag Team Championships against BARRY WINDHAM & MIKE ROTUNDA. Who knows how that will end? That's our show, and I AM OUTTA HERE!

Heartland Championship Wrestling Old School Saturday Night November 12, 2011 (Card #399) Wolstein Center, Cleveland, Ohio The show opens with the tune, "Old Time Rock 'N Roll" by Bob Seger playing overhead as JR JAMES hits the ring. The fans buzz as JR takes the microphone.JR: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Old School Saturday Night! The city of Cleveland has long been the home of mediocre sports teams and outstanding professional wrestling action- and we are pleased that you have joined us tonight! Before we get started, I am pleased to announce that one week from tonight will be a very exciting night in the Heartland. Heartland house show #400 will be presented live from the Cincinnati Gardens, and the show will involve matches from Old School, Warfare, and across the Federation! We'll have more on that special broadcast throughout the evening. Tonight we have a great card in store for you, with a most compelling Main Event indeed. The Old School Tag Team Championship will be contested when the champions, ANTONIO INOKI & GIANT BABA, will defend against the most controversial team in all the land, BARRY WINDHAM & MIKE ROTUNDA! Now, let's head to the ring for tonight's opening contest! "EXOTIC" ADRIAN STREET pinned "SUPERSTAR" BILL DUNDEE*Controversy to open the show! Dundee was getting the best of Street from the outset, until the Exotic One pitched Dundee out of the ring and took outrageous liberties with the rules. Street viciously whipped Dundee into the steel guard rails, then smacked him face first onto the ringpost. Dundee was enraged, and needed to be restrained and cordoned back into the ring. Dundee floored Street with a running chop block. The Superstar continued his rampage, but Street rolled him over into a crucifix, and with a generous handful of tights, held Dundee down for the three count! After the decision, Dundee continued in a rage as Street slid out of the ring and sashayed up the aisle with Miss Linda.JR: Ladies and gentlemen, in my considered opinion, that was without question a miscarriage of justice. I shall not exercise my authority to invalidate the decision of our fine referee, but I will declare a rematch between these two men- one week from tonight, at House Show #400 - in a steel cage! The fans erupt with applause. Street scowls at the entry and puts his hands over his ears. Dundee raises his arms and leads the cheers of the crowd!JR: Well, that should put that situation in order for now. Another situation in considerable flux is the controversy surrounding the Old School Tag Team Championship. One week ago, we witnessed a heinous attack against one-half of the tag team champions, ANTONIO INOKI, perpetrated by members of The Pinnacle. Let's take you back to a replay from that situation. Footage is displayed from a match at Hara Arena in Dayton between Inoki and The Destroyer. Destroyer delivered a vicious kick to the injured leg of Inoki! BRADSHAW came to the entryway and grinned as the beating continued. Destroyer remained motionless on the floor, and EMT's were called to place him on a stretcher and wheel him away to the locker room area.JR: Ladies and gentlemen, I am saddened to report that Mr. Inoki suffered a contusion of the knee. He has insisted upon defending the tag team titles tonight, against the judgement of the Heartland training staff. Of course, the status of the challengers, Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda, also remains questionable. We'll have more on that situation later in the night from our man backstage, LANNY POFFO.MR. FUJI** pinned IVAN PUTSKI***After a lengthy battle, Fuji used his nerve grip to neutralize the power of Putski, then pinned him after a pair of Kamikaze clotheslines. JR: A tremendous battle between two seasoned and capable competitors. Congratulations to Mr. Fuji for a hard-fought victory! DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE pinned NIKOLAI VOLKOFF**BANG! Page surprised Nikolai with a Diamond Cutter at the opening lockup! Volkoff never recovered, and Page quickly put him away with the Diamond Dream. JR: The explosive one, Diamond Dallas Page, has claimed another victim with the Diamond Cutter! All right, ladies and gentlemen- while we have a moment, let's catch up with our man behind the scenes, LANNY POFFO, who is standing by with BARRY WINDHAM & MIKE ROTUNDA.Lanny: Thank you, JR. Gentlemen- earlier tonight we saw the video of the injury to ANTONIO INOKI at the hands of BRADSHAW and STAN HANSEN last week. As members of The Pinnacle- were you aware of the plan to take out the tag champions? Rotunda: Absolutely not. Barry and I took the those guys to the limit at the Tournament of Champions- and we don't need the help of Hansen and Bradshaw to take our belts back. Mike- I think we should postpone the match a couple of weeks. Windham: Seriously? Mike, you're taking the goody-two-shoes routine too far. Rotunda: After all that we have been through over the years- I am NOT going let this team be tainted by Bradshaw's BS anymore. Lanny: So are you guys with The Pinnacle, or not? Windham: Think about it, Mike- this might be our last shot. We win the belts back, Bradshaw gets control of his temper, and you live to fight another day. We don't take this match tonight- he WILL take you out. Rotunda: I am not afraid of Bradshaw. Let me deal with him while Inoki gets his knee in shape. Then we will get our belts back! Barry pauses and thinks through the options. Suddenly, VELVET SKY arrives on the scene.Lanny: Velvet! What a lovely surprise! Velvet: Can it, dillweed. I am here to talk to Mike. Mike- you HAVE to do the match tonight. If you don't- Stan Hansen HIMSELF is coming after you! You know what a maniac he is! You saw what he did to Inoki! He will KILL you! Rotunda: That's just a chance I'll have to take. This isn't the first time I have been threatened. Velvet takes Rotunda by the hand.Velvet: Mike... we had such a great thing happening... it doesn't have to end like this. I... I... don't want to see you get hurt. Take the match tonight, Mike... for me? For us? Mike looks at Velvet and sighs.Rotunda: If it will bring us back together... I will do it. Velvet kisses Rotunda on the cheek and smiles. Rotunda watches her as she leaves the scene. He sets his jaw and turns to Windham with a nod. Windham and Rotunda leave together.Lanny: There you go, JR. Does that answer your question? JR: Indeed. Leave it to the wiles of Velvet Sky- we have ourselves a Main Event tonight! LES THATCHER** defeated BRADSHAW by disqualificationBradshaw carried all the frustrations of The Pinnacle to the ring with him in this contest. Thatcher came at him with a ground-basaed attack, but Bradshaw was in no mood for a scientific contest. Bradshaw nailed Thatcher with a big boot, sending him tumbling out of the ring. Bradshaw continued his attack with a vicious pummeling on the arena floor, smirking at the referee's attempts to corral the match back into the ring. When the official called for the bell, Bradshaw simply laid Thatcher out with a clubbing forearm blow and left the ring area grinning broadly. JR: Not much of an in-ring effort by Bradshaw tonight. His attentions have been focused elsewhere, as he endeavors to bring The Pinnacle back to prominence. THE DESTROYER**** defeated JIMMY "BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN" VALIANT****** by submissionA remarkable showing by The Destroyer! Wrestling with a severe injury, Destroyer battled against the Boogie Woogie Man and absorbed a great deal of punishment. Destroyer went to work on Valiant's legs and tortured him with the Achilles' lock, setting him up for the decisive Figure Four Leglock with sealed Valiant's fate. JR: No question, Destroyer is the smartest man in the Old School. Even with limited physical resources, this man conquered a very capable foe here tonight. All right, fans- the time has finally arrived for tonight's Main Event! MAIN EVENT: OLD SCHOOL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BARRY WINDHAM** & MIKE ROTUNDA (w/ VELVET SKY) defeated GIANT BABA & ANTONIO INOKI*****Windham and Rotunda were brilliant in tonight's rematch! Baba took the measure of Windham in the early going with mighty chops. Windham was staggered and tagged out to Rotunda, who managed to hold his own against the bigger champion. Inoki tagged into the match, and Windham and Rotunda isolated him in the corner and worked him over. Baba did his best to intervene, but the challengers systematically dismantled Inoki. It was Rotunda who finally finished off Inoki with a well-executed Butterfly Suplex. BARRY WINDHAM & MIKE ROTUNDA REGAIN THE OLD SCHOOL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPAfter the decision, Windham and Rotunda celebrated in the ring with Velvet. Inoki and Baba congratulated the new champions and left the ring area. BRADSHAW and STAN HANSEN lumbered to the ring. Rotunda immediately drew back his fists, but Bradshaw smiled and raised his hands innocently over his head. Velvet stepped between, and backed Rotunda to the corner to allow Hansen and Bradshaw to enter the ring. Hansen clapped his hands for the new champions, and Bradshaw stepped forward to offer Rotunda a handshake. Rotunda responded with a right hand to the side of the head! Bradshaw went down, but scrambled to his feet and went after Rotunda. Hansen came after Rotunda, but was quickly intercepted by Windham. A four-way brawl ensued! Velvet shrieked as officials and referees poured in from back stage. After a lengthy scrum, order was restored and Hansen and Bradshaw where escorted back to the locker room. Velvet stood tearfully at ringside as her employer was ushered away, stopping to look back briefly at Rotunda before trudging away from the ring.JR: What a situation! Ladies and gentlemen, history has been made here in Cleveland, Ohio! BARRY WINDHAM & MIKE ROTUNDA have regained the Old School Tag Team Championships! Their teamwork was impeccable tonight and they dismantled the champions. A fine effort indeed by a team whose very existence has been in question aver the past several months. But now, ladies and gentlemen, it is the existence of The Pinnacle that is in question. Rotunda delivered the Shot Heard 'Round The World when he leveled Bradshaw. That would have to be the final straw in the relationship between Bradshaw and Rotunda, and indeed it would appear that Barry Windham has aligned himself solidly behind Rotunda! As JR closes the show, Rotunda storms to the microphone.Rotunda: That's right! Bradshaw- we are finished! Me and Barry are once again the tag team champions! I'm not gonna run from you any more- I'm calling you out! Next week- me and Barry, you and Hansen- if you have the guts! JR: How about that!?! Ladies and gentlemen, we have another match set for Heartland House Show #400 next week! Be sure to tune in for all the great action one week from tonight in a terrific show that will feature: STEEL CAGE SHOWDOWN: "EXOTIC" ADRIAN STREET vs. "SUPERSTAR" BILL DUNDEE
INTERPROMOTIONAL CHALLENGE MATCH: THE AMERICAN WOLVES vs. ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD
HEARTLAND TRIVIA CHAMPIONSHIP CHALLENGE: STEVE AUSTIN (MPW) vs. HARLEY RACE (TRD)
SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH: CHRISTOPHER DANIELS vs. A.J. STYLES
TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH: STAN HANSEN & BRADSHAW vs. BARRY WINDHAM & MIKE ROTUNDAUntil then, fans, so long from the Buckeye State!

Heartland Championship Wrestling Old School Saturday Night November 19, 2011 (Card #400) Cincinnati Gardens, Ohio The show opens with JR JAMES and DAYTONDAVE together in the ring in the Cincinnati Gardens. The tune, "Old Time Rock 'N Roll" by Bob Seger plays overhead as CHRISTY HEMME dances for the enhusiastic crowd.Daytondave: Hey, fans- welcome to our very special broadcast of the 400th house show in Heartland history! JR: That's right, fans! It has been a privilege to be part of this fine territory for over 5 years. And tonight we will celebrate this broadcast with a very exciting night of action! Daytondave: I don't know if "celebrate" is the right word, JR. There could be some ugly brawls here tonight. JR: Certainly, we have a scores to be settled. But there is indeed no question that the word 'ugly' cannot be used in any context with the lovely Christy Hemme here tonight. Christy: JR, you silver-tongued devil! Who knew you had such a way with the ladies? Daytondave: And they said it couldn't be done! All right, fans. Time to batten down the hatches. It's a big night tonight and we have a lot of surprises on the way. We're going to start things off with a bang- in the steel cage! So relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show! STEEL CAGE GRUDGE MATCH EXOTIC ADRIAN STREET defeated SUPERSTAR BILL DUNDEE**A one-sided affair to open the show. Street pounced on Superstar at the opening bell and punished him repeatedly with knee smashes. He ground the face of Dundee into the cage several times. Dundee tried to fight back, but the Exotic One sidestepped his attempt at a Monkey Flip and wrapped Dundee into a painful Daffodil! Dundee held out as long as he could before weakening, and Street was easily able to escape the cage to claim victory. Daytondave: That dude may look like a pansy, but he got the job done in the steel cage tonight. JR: No question about that. The first confrontation has been completed for this evening, but all eyes are focused on our Main Event tag team confrontation pitting BRADSHAW and STAN HANSEN against BARRY WINDHAM & MIKE ROTUNDA. We have dispatched LANNY POFFO backstage to get a word with Bradshaw about tonight's big showdown. The scene shifts backstage, where Bradshaw and Hansen are standing with Lanny Poffo and Velvet Sky.Lanny: Thank you, JR. Mr. Bradshaw- it's all come down to this. Did you ever imagine that The Pinnacle would dissolve and you would end up across the ring from the greatest tag team in the history of the Heartland? Bradshaw: Do you think I am stupid? Listen, Mr. So-Called Genius- those jokers have outlived their usefulness to The Pinnacle. If you aren't committed to the vision, there is no need to waste my time. Lanny: Do you think you and Hansen can handle the champions? Bradshaw: It makes no difference. It may be difficult for a simple mind like yours to grasp- but I see all the angles and I cover all the bases. Windham and Rotunda are an outstanding tag team. But how do they intend to deal with THIS? Bradshaw motions to the door of the dressing room. ONE MAN GANG emerges and joins the group.Bradshaw: Windham and Rotunda may be the best team in the Heartland- but they are no match for the smartest man in the wrestling industry. Lanny: Wow! One Man Gang?!? This could be a long night for Windham and Rotunda. Back to you, JR- Bradshaw: Not so fast! Poffo, did I say we were finished here? Now, let ME ask YOU a question. What is missing from this picture? Lanny: You tell me. Bradshaw: GOLD. Lanny Poffo, you should know as well as anybody that The Pinnacle is all about the gold. No tag belts, no Old School title, no FLW championship. What does that leave? Lanny strokes his chin.Bradshaw: I am glad you asked. The only title belt that we can get our hands on is the Ladies' Championship. On behalf of The Pinnacle, I am proud to announce that right here tonight, our own VELVET SKY is returning to the wrestling ring! Velvet: What?!?!? Bradshaw: You heard me, Velvet. We need you back in the ring. Velvet: But I'm not... I haven't been- Bradshaw: You haven't been pulling your weight for The Pinnacle, pure and simple. You couldn't control CHRISTOPHER DANIELS. You couldn't convince your boyfriend MIKE ROTUNDA to bring the belts back to The Pinnacle. So, unless you are ready to get in that ring and bring home the Ladies' title, you may consider yourself on notice. Lanny: Wow! Another bombshell- so to speak- from Bradshaw! When will Miss Velvet be returning to action? Bradshaw: In about 10 minutes! Velvet: Seriously? Velvet begins to hiss at Bradshaw, but Bradshaw shoos the camera man and the scene quickly returns to ringside.Daytondave: Holy mackerel! Bradshaw never ceases to keep the Heartland guessing. JR: First, he brings in ONE MAN GANG to protect his assets... Daytondave: And now- Velvet Sky is returning to active wrestling- tonight! JR: Indeed. We'll see her return right after our next match. KENTUCKY HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH IVAN PUTSKI pinned LES THATCHER****Thatcher was totally overmatched against the massive Putski. After punishing her cruiserweight foe with several applications of the bear hug, he set up Thatcher and put him away cleanly with the Polish Hammer. JR: A massive man indeed, though diminutive in stature. The Polish Power will next move out against the Kentucky Champion, ANGELO MOSCA.Daytondave: Wow! That will be the brawniest brawl ever! Nothing like what we are about to witness next with the return to competition of the lovely VELVET SKY.MERCEDES MARTINEZ** pinned VELVET SKY***Despite being unprepared to compete, Velvet gave Mercedes a good battle. Mercedes proved to be too rough for Velvet when action spilled out of the ring. Velvet absorbed some major punishment on the arena floor, and was out of gas when the match returned to the ring. Mercedes delivered a vicious Spinebuster and sealed the victory. After the decision, Velvet attempted to blindside Mercedes, but the Latina sensation blocked the attempted sucker punch and shoved Velvet into the corner. Mercedes smirked and shook her finger at Velvet, then left the ring without further incident.JR: Not the outcome that Miss Velvet was hoping for, but no question she put up a solid performance against an impressive opponent. Daytondave: I don't believe Bradshaw did her any favors tonight, throwing her to the wolves like that. Once she gets some regular competition under her belt, I think she will be a factor in the Ladies' Division. JR: All right, ladies and gentlemen- next up, we have an interpromotional grudge match. These two teams have developed a rivalry that has grown bigger than the confines of one territory, so they have decided to settle their differences once and for all on a bigger stage! TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH THE AMERICAN WOLVES (EDDIE EDWARDS & DAVEY RICHARDS) defeated THE HORSEMEN (ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD*)A shocking defeat for the Horsemen! The match had barely begun when both the Wolves jumped on Tully! Arn hollered from the ring apron but was unable to intervene as the Wolves beat down Blanchard and executed a crushing Alarm Clock to put his lights out. Daytondave: Wow! Can you believe that? JR: The Horsemen are legendary for their tag team prowess, but tonight the Wolves came to the ring hungry and focused and they took the measure of perhaps an overconfident team. Daytondave: Not a great performance from the NWF squad. Next up, fans- the battle for the Heartland Trivia Contest winner! The sound of glass shattering is heard through arena as STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN storms through the curtain. Austin sneers at the Cincinnati crowd and extends both middle fingers. He slaps away the extended hands of several fans along the aisle as he heads toward the ring. He snatches a Heartland Championship Wrestling poster from a ringside fans and rips it to shreds with a scowl.JR: Of all the shameful acts of contempt on this occasion! Daytondave: Everyone has the right to free speech, JR. Dude is just getting himself psyched up. JR: No question he has a tall order tonight in squaring off with one Harley Race. The trivia championship of the Heartland is a prestigious- Without warning, JR is interrupted by a driving beat on the arena sound system. The arena goes dark. A single spotlight appears at the entry way, and the figure of ROBBIE ICE emerges!Ice: Can't nobody match the mind of Robbie Ice! You wanna mess with me? Sucka betta think twice! You think you badass, Austin, cause you like to flip the bird? You ain't got skills like Robbie- I'm the best you ever heard!
You disrespect the Heartland- what a lame brained move- H-C-Dub is where it's at- you can't deny the Heartland groove! You got no game- no hype- and that's the bottom line- Your act is all played out- my rhymes are smooth and I am fine!
So drink your beer and shave your head and act like you so tough- It's time for you to get punked- my crew has seen enough! Get ready- fans- stone Cold is gonna know his place- Now put your hands together for my boy HARLEY RACE!!! The fans erupt for the performance of Robbie Ice! Stone Cold smirks, but his face quickly turns to a scowl when HARLEY RACE emerges through the curtain. Robbie Ice raises the roof and struts around the entry way as the music fades. The lights come up as Race narrows his eyes and heads to the ring.JR: I daresay that we have witnessed an introduction unlike anything that Harley Race has ever experienced. Now that we have that out of the way, let's get down to the business at hand. SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH: HEARTLAND TRIVIA CONTEST CHAMPIONSHIP HARLEY RACE* (TRD) pinned STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN* (MPW)Controversy marred the Trivia Challenge bout. Austin started the match with a flurry, coming after Race with fists and fire. Harley fired back with suplexes and a falling head butt. Austin retaliated with a stiff right hand and exploded onto Harley with a Thesz Press and a series of right hands. The referee pulled Austin away, but he stomped on Race and went for the cover. Race was stunned, and slow to kick out, but the referee's count was slow and Race got his shoulder up before the three count! Stone Cold was enraged and got into the face of the referee. Race got to his feet and moved in behind Austin, stunning him with a hard punch to the kidney! Austin doubled over, and Race dropped him with a piledriver. Race rolled over on top, and the referee appeared to issue a fast count and awarded Race the victory! TRADITION WINS THE HEARTLAND TRIVIA CHALLENGEJR: Did my eyes just deceive me? Daytondave: Strange things are afoot in the Heartland. JR: Nevertheless, the referee's decision is final and Harley Race is indeed your winner. Daytondave: And that makes Rob Bennett the 2011 Trivia Champion! JR: A fun little diversion for the Federation- except for Austin! He is still enraged, but his obscene protestations appear to be falling on deaf ears. But now- the mood is about to change. There is a deranged former FLW Heavyweight Champion on the loose. For months, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS has been stalking AJ STYLES- and finally, the animosity between these men will come to a head. SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH CHRISTOPHER DANIELS pinned AJ STYLES*****Simply put, Daniels beat the daylights out of AJ in tonight's showdown. AJ delivered some of his better moves, but Daniels seemed to be impervious to the punishment. Daniels put Styles on the mat with a flying knee smash, then hammered him with the Best Moonsault Ever! Styles was in rough shape, and Daniels dropped him with the Angel's Wings. Daniels covered AJ, then pulled him off the canvas after a count of two! Adding insult to injury, Daniels applied the Angel's Wings again, and this time made the cover for the victory. JR: What a beating! This man Daniels dominated tonight's match in a fashion that was indeed unanticipated. I have never seen a champion be so decisively manhandled. As JR continued his analysis, Daniels took a microphone and stood over the fallen Styles.Daniels: You wanna play games with me? You wanna mess around with the Fallen Angel? You little punk- I beat you down tonight- but our issues are far from finished! The music, "Gimme Back My Bullets" by Lynyrd Skynyrd fills the arena, and THE BRISCOE BROTHERS storm the ring. The Briscoes attack Styles with kicks and punches, then lift him into the air and deliver a Springboard Doomsday Device! Styles is left laying in the ring as Daniels and the Briscoes leave together.Daytondave: The Briscoe Brothers! I never saw that coming! Those dudes are just as crazy as Daniels himself. This is a dangerous situation for the Heartland Heavyweight Champion. JR: And not one good head of hair among any of them. All right- ladies and gentlemen- we have now reached the moment of truth for The Pinnacle! Your Main Event if next! MAIN EVENT: TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH BARRY WINDHAM & MIKE ROTUNDA** defeated BRADSHAW & STAN HANSEN** (w/ ONE MAN GANG)The match started well for Bradshaw and Hansen. Rotunda charged Bradshaw at the opening bell, pounding the big Texan with right hands. But Bradshaw fired back, blocking a wild punch and flattening Rotunda with a a roundhouse right. Rotunda went down, and Bradshaw methodically beat him with knee smashes and stomps. Bradshaw tagged Hansen, who pitched Rotunda to the arena floor and continued the beating. One Man Gang joined in the fun, joining Bradshaw to put the boots to Rotunda. The referee intervened, pulling Gang away from the fracas. Rotunda saw his opening and caught Hansen by the arm, whipping him violently into the steel ring steps! Rotunda made it back to the ring, and finally made the hot tag to Windham! Barry hit the ring and cleaned house! Windham cleared the ring, sending Bradshaw tumbling out of the ring with a flying dropkick. Hansen charged at Barry, but Windham ducked the attempted Lariat and exploded off the ropes with a flying clothesline on Hansen! Barry quickly went for the cover and captured the pinfall as the fans erupted! After the decision, Bradshaw and Gang stormed the ring and attacked Windham! Rotunda came to the aid of his partner, but the champions were outnumbered and the advantage went to Bradshaw's faction. Gang pitched Windham out of the ring, and the two men brawled on the arena floor. Bradshaw and Rotunda duked it out in the ring, but Hansen retrieved his cowbell at ringside and nailed Rotunda across the back! Rotunda went down and the fans shrieked. VELVET SKY sprinted to the ring, as Bradshaw pulled Rotunda up to his knees and Hansen prepared to strike the helpless Rotunda across the face with the cowbell. Velvet threw herself in front of Hansen as Bradshaw looked on, perplexed.Daytondave: Velvet to the rescue! It looks like Velvet is coming to the aid of her man! Hansen hesitated as Velvet stepped in front of Rotunda. Velvet narrowed her eyes and wagged her finger in the face of Hansen. She then turned to Rotunda, and SLAPPED him across the face! Hansen roared with laughter. Velvet pointed to Hansen, directing him to hit Rotunda with the cowbell. Hansen again drew back, when without warning, on the entry way appeared the figure ofDUSTY RHODES Rhodes stormed to the ring and came directly after Hansen! Hansen and Rhodes threw down in a vicious brawl! Fists and fury filled the ring! Hansen and Rhodes went toe-to-toe, pounding at each other furiously. Windham slipped into the ring and pulled Rotunda to safety. Velvet shrieked as Rhodes and Hansen continued to battle. Dusty had all the momentum, finally dropping Hansen with a Bionic Elbow. Gang attempted a sneak attack on Rhodes, but Dusty turned and nailed him with a left jab! Rhodes delivered a crushing Bionic Elbow to Gang, sending the big man tumbling through the ropes. Bradshaw quickly slipped out of the ring to avoid the raging Rhodes. Bradshaw gathered his forces, bringing Gang, Hansen, and Velvet together at ringside. Rhodes came to the side of Windham and Rotunda, pointing across the ring at Hansen. Rhodes charged into the ring, flanked by Windham and Rotunda, screaming at Hansen and Bradshaw to return to the ring with fists raised. Bradshaw led his troops back up the ramp, sneering and screaming at Rhodes as the show closed.JR: Oh, my goodness! DUSTY RHODES has made his return to the Heartland! We have not seen this man in months! The last time Dusty Rhodes appeared in a Heartland ring, he was double-crossed by Hansen and beaten and bloodied! Rhodes has picked his spot to return to confront his former ally, and the timing could not have been better! Rotunda was about to be put on the shelf by Hansen, but Dusty saved the day! There is no question that Dusty has a score to settle with Stan Hansen- and with all of the members of Bradshaw's alliance. What a spectacular ending to an unpredicatble show! Ladies and gentlemen, our broadcast time is finished, but not without major drama here in the Heartland. What a remarkable turn of events we have seen. The reutrn of Dusty Rhodes! Ladies and gentlemen, we are so pleased that you have joined us here tonight. Once again, it has been our privilege that you have made Heartland Wrestling a part of this weekend. We'll be back on Wednesday Night with our next broadcast of Warfare. The Warfare Tag Team Championship will be at stake when PAUL LONDON and BRIAN KENDRICK step out again to defend the titles against CHARLIE HAAS & SHELTON BENJAMIN! Until then, fans, so long from the Buckeye State!

Heartland Championship Wrestling Wednesday Night Warfare November 23, 2011 (Card #401) Grand Opera House, Oshkosh, Wisconsin The show opens in the scenic Opera House in Oshkosh with the tune, "Pour Some Sugar on Me", by Def Leppard blasting over the arena sound system. CHRISTY HEMME dances in the center of the ring as the fans buzz. DAYTONDAVE hits the ring with the microphone and waves to the crowd.Daytondave: Wow! I bet this place hasn't rocked like that in years! Welcome back, fans, to Wednesday Night Warfare! It is great to be back after the epic House Show #400. Warfare is ready to rock on tonight! Christy: And a Happy Thanksgiving to all our terrific fans! Daytondave: You got that right, Christy! Everyone throughout the Heartland has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season. Tonight, it is turkey, pumpkin pie, and professional wrestling excitement! We have a great card planned for tonight, with a fantastic Main Event! The Warfare Tag Team Championship is on the line! The champions, PAUL LONDON & BRIAN KENDRICK, will square off against CHARLIE HAAS & SHELTON BENJAMIN. So relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show! DELIRIOUS**** pinned SUPER CRAZY*The Mexican sensation looked good in his debut, unleashing an assault on Delirious with snap mares and punches, culminating in an impressive Crazy Bomb. But Delirious kicked out and fought his way back, finally putting away the Crazy newcomer with the Chemical Imbalance #2. Daytondave: Two of the goofier- but more athletic dudes you will see in the wrestling business. A big win for Delirious! Now, we get the opportunity to check out two of our fine competitors from the Ladies' Division! CHEERLEADER MELISSA defeated AMBER O'NEAL*** by countoutAnother wild night in the Ladies' Division! Melissa and Amber, as expected, hooked up in a hard-hitting bout which was interrupted by a collision inolving the referee. While the ref was down, VAL VENIS came to ringside and began to harass Melissa, but she threatened him with a steel chair and he backed down! The referee came around and sent Venis back to the locker room. Melissa continued on a rampage and decked Amber, then delivered a nasty Curb Stomp on the arena floor! Melissa returned to the ring, her face deeply reddened and scowling as the referee completed the ten-count. Daytondave: Melissa is well known to have a temper, and it looks like Venis got on her last nerve. Amber paid the price for that! Val and Chris Candido have made some enemies in the tag team division- but nothing like the team we are about to see them face. The BRISCOE BROTHERS made their presence known at Card #400 when they intervened on behalf of CHRISTOPHER DANIELS and laid a beating on the Heartland Heavyweight Champion, AJ STYLES! Let's see what happens when these two teams hook up. THE 'IN' CROWD (VAL VENIS & CHRIS CANDIDO** w/ TAMMY SYTCH) defeated THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (JAY** & MARK) by disqualificationThe tag match was another chaotic event from start to finish! Before the opening bell, Jay Briscoe nailed Venis with a sucker punch! The contest quickly deteriorated into a brawl, as the In Crowd double-teamed Jay repeatedly. Jay finally pitched Candido to the arena floor and turned the tables, beating him down. The Briscoes returned the favor with a double-team Doomsday Device on Candido, but Venis came in to interrupt the pinfall and the match continued. Candido rallied, and delivered an amazing Blonde Bomb on Mark. Mark appeared to be finished, but Jay pulled the referee out of the ring and shoved him to the floor, costing his team the disqualification. The DQ didn't stop the brawl, as the In Crowd came after Jay. Mark was quick to the defense of his brother, and all four men threw down in the aisleway before Heartland Officials rushed in to break it up.Daytondave: No big surprise there. These two teams are ruthless competitors who will stop at nothing to win. I expect these next couple of matches to be more on the up-and-up. MIKE QUACKENBUSH* defeated CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI** by countoutThe reigning FLW United States Champion hooked up in a very entertaining battle against Mike Quackenbush tonight. Claudio overpowered Quack for much of the bout, but Quackenbush survived a Ricola Bomb and managed to pick up the pace. After a lightning-fast flurry from Quackenbush, the dropped Claudio with a Quackendriver II for a two-count. Claudio rolled out to the arena floor, but Quack wiped him out with a sensational suicide dive! Claudio was down, and unable to return to the ring ahead of the ten-count. Daytondave: Gotta hand it to Quackenbush for a very resourceful match. He took Claudio's best shot, but he stuck to his game plan and brought home a victory! NIGEL McGUINESS* defeated COLT CABANA***** by submissionIn a brilliant display of mat wrestling, Nigel repeatedly locked in the London Dungeon until Cabana could no longer withstand the pain. Colt was forced to give it up after a very hard-fought bout. Daytondave: Outstanding match! After all the other BS we have seen tonight, Nigel McGuiness and Colt Cabana just put on a grappling clinic. Congratulations to Nigel on an outstanding victory. Now, fans- it's time for the Main Event! Before the match, let's check out some footage from the recent Tournament of Champions supercard. Footage is displayed from the Filsinger Cup Tag Team Finals, where PAUL LONDON and BRIAN KENDRICK took on ANTONIO INOKI & GIANT BABA. Baba catches London coming off the top turnbuckle and sends him hurtling to the arena floor! London crashed to the concrete hard and could not meet the 10-count.Daytondave: I don't believe that London is at 100% tonight, but this rematch has been booked and London will tough it out. MAIN EVENT: WARFARE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP CHARLIE HAAS**** & SHELTON BENJAMIN defeated PAUL LONDON* & BRIAN KENDRICK*** to win the Warfare Tag Team ChampionshipThe World's Greatest Tag Team are now the Warfare Tag Team Champions! London and Kendrick were crisp, despite the injury to London. The former champions took over on Haas after several minutes of action. Haas fell prey to two of the signature moves of the champs, and the match nearly ended when London nailed an Assisted Shooting Star Press! But Benjamin made the save, and after several anxious moments, Haas managed to make the hot tag. Benjamin stormed the ring and plastered Kendrick with a T-Bone Suplex, stunning him and forcing him to bring London into the match. Benjamin was waiting for him, and executed a picture-perfect superkick which put London's lights out for the victory! CHARLIE HAAS & SHELTON BENJAMIN CAPTURE THE WARFARE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPDaytondave: Fans, what a match we have just witnessed! Haas and Benjamin have won the Warfare Tag Team titles! London and Kendrick had their work cut out for them- but they took the match and fought their hardest. But in this business, if you are not at 100%, bad things can happen. Haas and Benjamin were loaded for bear, and Shelton delievered the goods! Congratulations to the new champions, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas! All right, fans- we're done here. It's been a great night here on Warfare! New tag champions and a terrific card from start to finish. And it gets better from here! One week from tonight, Warfare will be back with another terrific card. AJ STYLES will defend his Heartland Heavyweight Championship against TAZ! Old School will have the weekend off to celebrate Thanksgiving- so sit tight and we'll be back at ya next week. That's our show, and I AM OUTTA HERE!

Heartland Championship Wrestling Wednesday Night Warfare November 30, 2011 (Card #402) Von Maul Field House, Waukesha, Wisconsin The show opens with CHRISTY HEMME dancing in the center of the ring to the tune, "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard. DAYTONDAVE hits the ringwith a microphone and waves to the assembled multitude. Before Daytondave can begin his introduction, AUSTIN ARIES joins him in the ring and snatches the microphone.Aries: Thank you! Thank you very much! Yes, it is great to be in Waukesha- birthplace of the man... the myth... the legend... put your hands together for the one and only Austin Aries! As always, I realize that you are thrilled to see A-Double here in the Heartland. As you should be! A-Double is the greatest man to ever have donned the wrestling tights. A-Double is the man who put the sport of wrestling on the map in the state of Wisconsin. And tonight, Austin Aries will provide the wonderland of Waukesha with the best action in the ring. The Heartland has signed a man who claims to be a legend in this business- but the tale ends tonight. So TOMMY DREAMER- bring your broken-down carcass out here and prepare to suffer the beating of a lifetime! The fans burst into cheers when Tommy Dreamer enters through the curtain. He extends his arms to the sides, fists clenched. He scowls and sprints to the ring. The opening contest begins!TOMMY DREAMER*** pinned AUSTIN ARIES*In a typical Dreamer perfrmance, Tommy survived a vicious kick to the groin and two brainbusters before rallying to defeat Aries with a DDT. Daytondave: Well! How about THAT for an opening to the show! There's always a little punk who can mouth off, but never seems to back it up. I think we're in his home town tonight. Tommy Dreamer - welcome to the Heartland! Now that things are back under control, let's talk about what promises to be a big night in the Heartland tonight. Even bigger than the ego of Austin Aries- fans- the Heartland Heavyweight Championship is up for grabs tonight! AJ STYLES faces what might be is stiffest test so far. He has to deal with TAZ in tonight's Main Event! You saw what happened to AJ back at card 400- he got beat by CHRISTOPHER DANIELS and he also took a beating from THE BRISCOE BROTHERS! We'll find out from 'Dem Boys later tonight what they were thinking when they backjumped the champion. But also tonight- not one, but TWO outstanding matches from our Ladies' Division. So relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the rest of the show! TRISH STRATUS pinned BETH PHOENIX**The Stratusfaction claims another victim! Daytondave: Trish is a great athlete and a great competitor. Christy: Yeah- but do you realize that MELINA has held the Heartland Ladies' Championship for over a year now? Daytondave: That is a terrific accomplishment! All right, fans. It's time to find out from THE BRISCOE BROTHERS exactly why they ambushed the Heartland Heavyweight Champion. The tune, "Gimme Back My Bullets" by Lynyrd Skynyrd plays overhead as the Briscoe Brothers stalk to ringside.Mark: Y'all wanna know what's up? Y'all wanna know why we do what we do? Jay: 'Dem Boys do whatever dey want! Mark: AJ Styles, you a punk-ass beotch! You need to man up, boy! Jay: 'Dat sissy attacked Daniels behind a mask! Mark: And 'dat punk messed with a man's automobile! Jay: Sucka you come near our 1989 pick-up truck and we will bus' you up, boy! Mark: Damn right, brother! Christopher Daniels- he our boy! Styles- you ain't began to pay the price for what you did, punk! Jay: Come on, brother! We got us a match tonight with the YOUNG BUCKS!Mark: The Young Bucks? Sounds like time for deer huntin' season! Let's bag 'em and take 'em home in the pick-up! Jay: Man up! The Briscoes continue to rant as they climb into the ring for the next match.BRISCOE BROTHERS (MARK & JAY) defeated THE YOUNG BUCKS (MATT* & NICK JACKSON)The action was fast-paced and hard-hitting, with both teams connecting on flying moves and spectacular dives. In the end, the Briscoes were simply too powerful for the smaller Bucks, and it was Matt who took the fall after a crushing double Yakuza kick. Daytondave: Unlike what we saw earlier tonight- the Briscoes talk the talk, AND they walk the walk. And if they have the Heartland Heavyweight Champion in their sites, then AJ Styles had best have somebody watching his back. All right, fans- let's have another look at the Ladies' Division- and the Heartland debut of our newest lady competitor. Without warning, the tune, "Break the Walls Down" plays over the speaker system. The fans are stunned as CHRIS JERICHO appears in the entry way! He is accompanied by TRACI BROOKS. Daytondave: What the- ? Chris Jericho is here with Traci Brooks! I never saw that coming! TRACI BROOKS** (w/ CHRIS JERICHO) pinned SARA DEL REY*Traci looked to be overmatched against the powerful Sara. Sara dominated the opening moments of the match and flattened Traci with a Royal Butterfly Powerslam. Sara made the cover, but Jericho distracted the referee to interrupt the count! Sara pounded the mat in frustration, and took after Jericho at ringside. Jericho managed to elude Sara, who returned to the ring and walked right into a massive Brooks and Dunn Lariat to suffer the pinfall! Daytondave: Unbelievable! When you least expect it, the unexpected happens. Chris Jericho has made his presence felt in the Heartland Ladies' Division- and he has spurred a major upset! Next up - another tag team confrontation between two teams with a fierce and long-standing rivalry. MNM (JOHNNY NITRO** & JOEY MERCURY w/MELINA) defeated THE 'IN' CROWD (VAL VENIS* & CHRIS CANDIDO** w/ TAMMY LYNN SYTCH)Another chapter in an epic war saw most of the action take place outside the ring. Candido was mauled by both members of MNM early in the match, and took a pounding from Mercury on the arena floor. MNM dropped Candido with the Snapshot, but Venis made the save. Candido rallied, and tagged in Val, who trapped Nitro in a Reverse Figure Four and nearly forced him to submit. But Johnny was able to survive, and after another fierce battle on the arena floor, Nitro blasted Venis with a Superkick and scored a clean victory! Daytondave: Every time these two teams meet, it seems to reach a new intensity level. I thought that match would never get back into the ring! Good job by Mercury and Nitro to come away with the 'W'. All right, fans- let's get to the Main Event! The Heartland Heavyweight Championship is up for grabs! The challenger, TAZ, heads to the ring first, accompanied by TOMMY DREAMER. The fans erupt as the champion, AJ STYLES, follows. He is joined by MIKE QUACKENBUSH and DELIRIOUS. Daytondave: Check this out! Looks like the battle lines are being drawn- Taz and Styles are both coming to the ring with back-up. Are they concerned about each other- or about THE BRISCOE BROTHERS and CHRISTOPHER DANIELS? It almost feels like a lumberjack match- but the title is on the line and the stakes couldn't be higher! Let's get it on- and keep this match on the up and up. Daniels? Briscoes? I know you are back stage. If any of you three shows up during this match- I will personnally suspend you! MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AJ STYLES* pinned TAZ****The aerial assault of AJ Styles once again proved to be too much for Taz. Styles took flight early and often, putting Taz on the defensive from the opening bell. Taz managed one impressive suplex, but never took the momentum from the dynamic champion. AJ unleashed a springboard moonsault onto the arena floor to take down Taz, who barely made it back to the ring ahead of the ten-count. From there, AJ delivered another springboard forearm strike and pinned Taz cleanly in the center of the ring. AJ STYLES RETAINS THE HEARTLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPAs AJ celebrated, CHRISTOPHER DANIELS stormed the ring along with THE BRISCOE BROTHERS! Delirious and Quackenbush quickly came to the defense of the champion, and a six-way brawl broke out! All six men brawled throughout the arena! Taz and Dreamer steered clear of the situation as wreslers and officials from the locker room spilled out in an effort to break up the fight. Daytondave: How about that? AJ Styles brought the troops to watch his back, and the troops responded. He took down Taz tonight, and he is not about to lay down for the bully tactics of Christopher Daniels and the Briscoe Brothers! The first shot has been fired and this situation could erupt into a full-fledged war! All right, fans- we're done here. Congratulations to AJ Styles for keeping his Heartland Heavyweight Title! Dude has his work cut out for him with CHRISTOPHER DANIELS on his tail and BRYAN DANIELSON still holding the Money in the Bank contract. We'll be back next week with a big night- COLT CABANA will defend his Combat Championship against CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI. And don't forget to check out Old School this weekend when JR JAMES and the bad old dudes of Saturday Night will be back in action. That's our show, and I AM OUTTA HERE!

Heartland Championship Wrestling Old School Saturday Night December 3, 2011 (Card #403) Mitchell Athletic Center, Granville, Ohio The show opens with JR JAMES in the center of the ring holding a microphone. The tune, "You Ain't Seen Nuttin' Yet" by Bachman Turner Overdrive plays overhead as the fans cheer.JR: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Old School Saturday Night! It is great to be back with you from the beautiful campus of Denison University. It is an exciting night on Old School as we prepare for the next pay-per-view broadcast of Heartland professional wrestling, one week from tonight! Heartland Havoc XLII: Ain't Seen Nuttin' Yet will take place on December 10 from Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky! All three Old School championships will be on the line! We'll have more info on the big event throughout the show tonight. We have some great matches in store! The newcomer, ONE MAN GANG, will take his shot at MIKE ROTUNDA and the bounty which remains on his head. Now, let's head to the ring for tonight's opening contest! IRON SHEIK defeated BRAD ARMSTRONG******* by submissionSheik was merciless in his dismantling of Armstrong. The loaded boot tore holes in Brad and drew blood from his head and rib cage. A few meaningless dropkicks were all Armstrong could muster before falling prey to the Camel Clutch. JR: What a brutal beating we have just witnessed! Armstrong looks like he has been through the briar patch. The referee gave a lot of leeway to the Iranian Sheik in that match. No question, this is a sport that is not for the faint-hearted. One of the rugged bouts we will see at next week's pay-per-view will be the Kentucky Heavyweight Championship match-up pitting the champion, ANGELO MOSCA, against the powerful challenger, IVAN PUTSKI. That match will most certainly not be for the faint of heart! LES THATCHER* defeated EXOTIC ADRIAN STREET** by submissionIn a much more technical contest, Thatcher withstood a series of attacks from Street and put him on the canvas with a flying headscissors out of nowhere. Before Street could recover, Thatcher wrapped him into a painful Stump Puller to force the submission. JR: A very elegant win for the gifted grappler from the Queen City of Cincinnati! And I am pleased to report, not a drop of blood was spilled in that match. Without warning, JIMMY VALIANT staggers through the curtain, his face a crimson mask. He collapses on the entry way. The crowd gasps, as KILLER KOWALSKI hurtles out of the locker room area in obvious pain. STAN HANSEN emerges, holding his cowbell overhead and bellowing. Kowalski lunges at Hansen, and the two men exchange haymakers on the platform until ONE MAN GANG blasts through the curtain and levels Kowalski with a big right hand! Gang and Hansen put the boots to Kowalski until he slumps to the floor, and Gang obliterates him with a 747 Splash! Kowalski lies motionless, as Hansen and Gang celebrate. BRADSHAW emerges through the curtain, smoking a cigar, with VELVET SKY on his arm. Bradshaw: Hey! JR! Sorry about your next scheduled match. We decided to... interrupt. Ol' JBL may no longer hold the contracts of the Heartland Tag Team Champions, don't mean I am going anywhere. This man here- the One Man Gang- is gonna run through the Heartland like a wrecking ball- starting with MIKE ROTUNDA - TONIGHT! Bradshaw grins broadly and leads Hansen and Gang back through the curtain. Kowalski, and then Valiant, stagger away to the locker room.JR: My apologies, fans, once again, for the actions of Bradshaw and his stooges. I am indeed afraid that we won't be seeing Killer Kowalski or Jimmy Valiant here tonight. We do have another match on tap, now that the chaos has settled. We'll see BARRY WINDHAM in singles action! Next week, it will be Windham and MIKE ROTUNDA defending their tag team titles against the former champions, ANTONIO INOKI & GIANT BABA. Inoki is back at full strength, and I am hopeful that this match will be a true demonstration of the capabilities of both those teams. BARRY WINDHAM pinned THE DESTROYER**Wrestling on a bad wheel, Destroyer put up a good fight, but Windham had his game face on and managed to take out his opponent with a flying Lariat. JR: So far, so good for Windham tonight. He gets by The Destroyer- but can his partner survive the fury of the One Man Gang? We'll learn the answer to that question in just a few short moments. Unfortunately, THE VALIANT BROTHERS were scheduled for tag team action tonight, but that match has been postponed due to an injury to Jimmy Valiant. Instead, we present the debut match of the Heartland's newest acquisition! JOHNNY VALIANT pinned BOOKER T**With the vengeance of his brother in mind, Johnny Valiant pulled no punches tonight. Johnny absorbed a flurry of right hands from Booker, then staggered him with a vicious eye gouge, followed with a two-handed choke. Booker was temporarily staggered, and Johnny capitalized with a pair of Spinning Neckbreakers to put him down for the three-count! JR: What a stunning defeat indeed for the newcomer Booker T. It is clear that Johnny Valiant was in no mood to be deployed as cannon fodder for a meaningless match- so he decided to take care of business! Before our final contest, I am proud to announce next week's Havoc Main Event. In a rematch for the Old School Heavyweight Champion, BOBO BRAZIL will square off against STAN HANSEN! All right, ladies and gentlemen- many have tried, but none has succeeded in putting down MIKE ROTUNDA and collecting $10,000 from his former employer, Bradshaw. Will the newly acquired One Man Gang be the man to get the job done? We'll find out in tonight's Main Event. MAIN EVENT: BOUNTY MATCH MIKE ROTUNDA pinned ONE MAN GANG**Once again, Rotunda came out with his survival on the line, and once again he became the aggressor. Rotunda put on a wrestling clinic, never allowing Gang to unload his arsenal of power moves. Rotunda weakened Gang with a torturous Abdominal Stretch until the big man could barely withstand the pain. Before Gang could regain his bearings, Rotunda rolled him over in an inside cradle and pinned him cleanly! After the decision, Rotunda rolled clear of the ring as Gang tried to launch a sneak attack. But before Mike could escape, BRADSHAW and STAN HANSEN scurried to ringside. Bradshaw grabbed Rotunda and pitched him back into the ring, only to have BARRY WINDHAM & DUSTY RHODES come to his assistance! A tense staredown followed between all six men, with officials streaming in from the locker room to prevent an outbreak of violence. Bradshaw and his men were escorted from the ring, but as they departed, Gang delivered a sucker punch to Dusty! Dusty flew into a rage, but the officials held him back and quickly escorted Gang and his crew back to the dressing room.JR: Dusty Rhodes is not a happy man at this moment. What a cheap shot by the One Man Gang! I have a mind- in fact, I will- schedule those two men for next week's pay-per-view in a Steel Cage match! Let's put an end to the back jumping and the double-teaming and let these boys have at it, man to man. Once again, Rotunda survives the challenge of a Bounty match and escapes with his hide intact. With Windham and Rhodes watching his back, that will only help his chances. All right, ladies and gentlemen, this concludes tonight's broadcast. We thank you so much for joining us! We'll be back next week to present our pay-per-view broadcast of Heartland Havoc XLII: Ain't Seen Nuttin Yet from Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. It will be STAN HANSEN challenging for the Old School Heavyweight Championship in a rematch against BOBO BRAZIL in our Main Event. And don't forget to tune in to Wednesday Night Warfare this week for the Combat Championship match pitting COLT CABANA against CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI. Until then, fans, so long from the Buckeye State!
