from Dayton, OH
Ed "Strangler" Lewis and John Pesek start off the show. Pesek reminds Brazil that he pinned him in a tag team match. A singles match with the title on the line will be an entirely different situation.
Angelo Mosca d. Cousin Luke w/ the SLEEPER Luke put up a pretty solid fight in this one. Mosca locked on his patented Sleeper and put Luke to sleep.
Magnum TA is out for an interview. He's thankful to be given such a big opportunity at Halloween Havoc. He wants to prove himself against the best the world has to offer. Harley Race is one of the elite talents in the world today. If he can beat Harley Race than he can beat anyone.

Dan Severn d. Dick Hutton w/ the WAKIGATAME This was a great back and forth battle. Severn and Hutton locked on several holds but couldn't force an ending. Severn finally locked on the Wakigatame and Hutton was forced to submit. Dan Severn picks up a big win in Dayton.
NWA United States Champion Ted Dibiase is out for an interview. He didn't go through four men in one night just to lose his championship on his first title defense. Losing to Don Muraco is not an option for him.
Main Event: George "The Animal" Steele d. Maurice Tillet by DQ This match fell apart almost immediately. Steele blasted Tillet with a pair of knuckles but then got attacked by Fritz Von Goering. It's a two one one beatdown on Steele as the referee calls for the bell.
The beatdown continues until Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Luke run out to make the save. Steele eats the turnbuckle and does the hoedown with Jim and Luke as the show comes to a close.

A brief note on the International Championship. It will only be defended in Japan and maybe Mexico. The holder of the belt will not be acknowledged as holding a championship belt in the United States. The belt will also only be defended once every two months or so.

This is a more old school promotion, set up wise. So you won't see much lip service given to a belt that doesn't factor into the United States. It's also to add to the feel of the promotion being worldwide. So when you see those International belts pop up, you'll know it's a different kind of show. I want there to be a bit of a different feel to shows in Mexico or Japan too.
