The new tag team rule suggests that when a tag team wrestler is wrestling in a singles match and rolls a (tag) move on offense OR a tag finisher, you should roll again at the next lower level of offense. I played a card last night using the new rule, and wasn't 100% satisfied with the results, especially when it came to the finishers. Added a good amount of time to the matches, as certain wrestlers didn't generate a lot of offense. So, I have decided to tweak the rule a bit, allowing those wrestlers that have an alternate finishing move on their cards to use those finishers instead of re-rolling at the lower level. I will use the rule on non-finishing moves, however.
On a side note, I used Jerry Lynn & Super Crazy last night. Lynn lost a back & forth match to Roderick Strong, while Super Crazy took care of Brian Kendrick in near record time. Next up, Jazz makes her UltraMega! debut against Sara Del Ray later this morning.

Better overall set than I expected. Great work as always to Tim, Chad, Cory, Mr. Vegas for his signings and of course Tom for putting it all together. Your welcome.

I will use the rule on non-finishing moves, however. If it is used that way, it winds up making the tag wrestler even stronger in singles action. I assume you are talking about a wrestler with both a singles and tag finisher. If the wrestler is in a tag match, he has a 1/6 chance of hitting his singles finisher. Doing it this way, the chances of hitting the singles finisher becomes 1/3 in a singles match. The rule was designed to make a tag specialist less successful in tag action, not more. But it is up to you promoter!!! Although I hear that the creator of the rule is super awesome!!

Ah, I see. Well, I won't have to worry too much about that rule considering I never really allow a tag wrestler singles competition. I think a similar rule is also written on Brian Kendrick's card too.

Wasn't the previous rule if in a singles match you rolled a move followed by tag you then re-rolled on the same level?

Wasn't the previous rule if in a singles match you rolled a move followed by tag you then re-rolled on the same level? Yes. The reason I came up with the new rule was rolling on the same level allowed some tag wrestlers to be better at singles as they had a 1/5 chance of hitting a good level 3 move or secondary finisher.

It will be good to have this set, it really sounds like a SOLID set and Eddie Gilbert is a great addition...

I'll probably keep doing it the old way. It still limits a tag wrestler's effectiveness in singles whether the tag move is on lvl 2 or lvl 3. When you roll a 6 on lvl. 3 and sub a finisher that is at #5 is when you're making him stronger then intended in singles.

I kinda of agree with Ty here. It almost feels like the tag guy is being punished for a strong roll having him roll up to a weaker offensive level. I've always just re-rolled on the same level and will prob continue to do it that way. I think the 1/5 chance is off set by the fact that the guy already rolled a 6 and is getting penalized for it.
Also, great work on the things you did/do for Legends Ty. Didn't mean to slight you. Just didn't realize you had your hand in this set along with the rest of the crew. And Happy Birthday bro. Hope it was a good one.
