-CHARM CITY UPDATE-
-Next card in August 13th, 2011 in Bowie, Maryland
Card #26 - "STICK TO YOUR GUNS"
-CCW Tag Team Title Match- The Kings of Wrestling (c) vs. Nigel McGuiness & Bryan Danielson
-CCW Cruiser weight Title Match- HOME RUN DERBY MATCH- Ultramantis Black (c) vs. Dasher Hatfield
Theater of Pain vs. Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw
Mark & Jay Briscoe vs. Team F.I.S.T.
Brodie Lee vs. Eddie Kingston
Jerry Lynn vs. Harker Dirge
Hallowicked vs. Sugar Dunkerton
Brent Albright vs. Bishop Hell
*Special appearance by CCW Heavyweight champion-Tyler Black.
*The Kings of Wrestling continue to hold on to the tag team titles by any means necessary. This time they face a pair of technical masters in Danielson and McGuinness. They squared off during the Tag Grand Prix and in a match marrred by interference the Kings got the win. Can history repeat itself or has the Kings luck finally run out?
*Dasher Hatfield has come so close twice in taking the Cruiserweight title away from Ultramantis Black. This time he wanted his type of match - a HOME RUN DERBY CHALLENGE. NO DQ. The ring is littered with "bats" of all types and everything is legal. Once again no one is allowed at ringside. One winner.
*Jerry Lynn gets a re-match against the Neo-Solar temple's resident bloodsucker Harker Dirge. Has JL learned his lessons from the last encounter?
*Brent Albright is still steamed about his recent defeat to Brodie Lee. He doesn't blame his opponent but instead a jealous Bryan Danielson. Can he stay focused enough to get a win over a man who beat him earlier this year in the strange Bishop Hell?
*Tag Team enounters all around as the Briscoes match with Team F.I.S.T and Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw face Theater of Pain. Which teams can get that much closer to a title shot?

Charm City Championship Wrestling August 13, 2011 Bowie, Maryland Bowie Convention Center
Card #26 - "STICK TO YOUR GUNS"
*CHARLIE COX is out to run down the card and he is joined by CCW Heavyweight champion TYLER BLACK and his manager APRIL HUNTER. Black bragged about how no one can seem to get the title off him. He wonders aloud just who is left for him to defeat? Cox mentions Delirious but as of right now he can't seem to be found right now. But he is right he's been able to get by some of the CCW's best. So he figures that he'd make this announcement now. On August 27th in Rosedale,Maryland at "MIDNIGHT DYNAMITE" I have a Fatal-Four Way set with the current Top contenders - Brent Albright, Bryan Danielson, Eddie Kingston, and Brodie Lee. The winner gets a shot at you on September 10th in Bel Air. Black and Hunter both yawned as they left. Both seemed unimpressed with the announcement.
1) Hallowicked pinned Sugar Dunkerton with GO TO SLEEPY HOLLOW @ 4:25.
Hallowicked came out alone as Ultramantis I'm sure was prepping for his big title match later in the evening. The masked man didn't need him as got the fall on the hoopster.
2) Theater of Pain (w/Louden Noxious) beat "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw when Tim Donst threw powder in Quackenbush's eyes setting up SHAKESPEARE @ 5:10.
The Theater gained a bit of an upset with the unexpected help of Tim Donst. Noxious distracted the official as Quackenbush went for a high risk dive. As he turned Tim Donst who came out of the crowd threw powder in his eyes blinding him. He fell to the mat and after a quick tag the masked men hit their finisher to get the duke.
3) Harker Dirge (w/Crossbones) beat Jerry Lynn by COUNTOUT @ 8:25.
A very good match between these two as Lynn hoped for some revenge. He'd have to get it another time as Crossbones took liberties while Lynn was on the outside. He hit a DDT on the concrete that the official didn't see and lead to a countout win for his partner.
4) Bishop Hell (w/Louden Noxious) beat "The Shooter" Brent Albright with HELLFIRE @ 10:10.
Albright seemed extra aggressive at the start of the match but it allowed Hell an opening. As the match went back and forth Noxious jumped on the apron and gave the Bishop time to shoot a fireball into Albright's chest! He fell back and Hell got the pinfall. Medics came to attend to Albright who appeared more mentally shaken then physically injured.
5) Team F.I.S.T. (Icarus & Gran Akuma) beat Mark & Jay Briscoe by DISQUALIFICATION @ 15:02.
A huge pier six brawl ensued and the ref tried to restore order. As he did, Icarus moved the official in line with an attempted Superkick by Mark. The official was out cold but the two teams continued to brawl. A second ref came out to render the disqualification to a chorus of boos by the fans.
-CCW Cruiser-weight Title Match - HOME RUN DERBY- 6) Ultramantis Black (c) pinned Dasher Hatfield with the RITES OF SPRING @ 12:35.
This was a violent contest to say the least. Hatfield almost had the title several times but Mantis was able to just kick out. The end saw Mantis hit a DDT seemingly out of nowhere and then the a Pump Handle Death Valley Driver on a lightbulb for the final count.
7) "King of Diamonds" Eddie Kingston and "Big Rig" Brodie Lee (w/ Eddie Fyne) fought to a DOUBLE-DISQUALIFICATION @ 4:55.
Both men disregarded the rules and they battled into the crowd and back to the locker room.
-CCW Tag Team Title Match- 8) The Kings of Wrestling (w/Larry Sweeney) defeated "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson & Nigel McGuinness when Claudio Castagnoli pinned McGuinnness with the RICOLA BOMB @ 11:03.
The Kings retain yet again with some effective double team moves and tremendous high impact action. They isolated McGuinness and continued to frustrate Danielson most of the match.

Charm City Championship Wrestling August 27, 2011 Rosedale, Maryland Rosedale Lions Club
Card #27 - "MIDNIGHT DYNAMITE"
*CCW Commissioner CHARLIE COX is out running down the card. He is stopped by LOUDEN NOXIOUS who is flanked by BISHOP HELL and the THEATER OF PAIN. Cox rolls his eyes and wonders what Noxious could possibly want now. Noxious is talking tough and demands to know where DELIRIOUS is. Cox plays dumb and says that no one has seen him the last few weeks. Cox said that he could only hope that he's far away from him. Noxious isn't joking and he accuses Cox of being behind a kidnapping of his "property". Cox denies it again and orders him to the back so he can do his job. Noxious says that before he goes he'd like to cash in his final title shot but before he can say who he is stopped mid sentence. Two small dwarvish, disfigured men walk down to ringside and push a note in Noxious' hand. His face goes white. He quickly leaves the ring in a rush as his charges follow behind him. The two gnomes leave too but Cox picks up the that was left behind. It reads - "TIME TO PAY UP".
1) "Superstar" Sean Davis (w/Eddie Fyne) defeated Al Snow with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX @ 3:25.
Snow seemed distracted tonight and it didn't help that Fyne held his leg while in the corner so the massive Davis could hit an Avalanche splash.
2) The Throwbacks defeated Hallowicked & Crossbones (w/Ultramantis Black) when Dasher Hatfield pinned Crossbones with the GRANDSLAM @ 5:10.
The match was fairly even until all four men engaged in a pier ix brawl. The official tried to maintain order but missed JERRY LYNN using a chair to crack open Crossbones. He staggered back and Sugar Dunkerton suplexed up to a waiting Hatfield on the top rope. Lynn joined his friends in the ring after the match. A few "ECW! ECW!" chants broke out and Lynn simple smiled and nodded his head in approval.
3) The Osirian Portal defeated "Sweet N' Sour" Larry Sweeney & Tim Donst when Amasis pinned Donst with the OSIRIAN SACRAMENT @ 11:01.
The Portal was in trouble several times but they seemed to dance their way out of difficulty. Amasis got the hot tag and used several moves to isolate Donst. After Ophidian leveled Sweeney out of the ring they hit their double splash leg/combo for the win.
4) Nigel McGuinness beat "Bloody" Harker Dirge with the JAWBREAKER LARIAT @ 6:15.
Once again a new look Jerry Lynn made his presence felt in the match. The official had pushed back McGuinness as he attacked Dirge on the ropes. Lynn used a chair shot and then McGuinness finished him off with the lariat. The crowd chanted its approval once more.
5) Team F.I.S.T. beat Mark & Jay Briscoe when pinned Jay with the YOSHI TONIC @ 15:25.
Icarus and Gran Akuma proved that their last match-up was not some sort of fluke victory. They used consistent double teams to put away the popular Briscoes.
6) Jerry Lynn beat "Kentucky Gentleman" Chuck Taylor with the CRADLE PILEDRIVER @ 10:16.
The new improved ECW version of Jerry Lynn was evident in this match too. He took the match to the outside a few times and hit a spectacular dive onto the waiting Taylor.
-CCW Cruiserwieight Title Match- 7) Jigsaw beat Ultramantis Black (c) by DISQUALIFICATION when Hallowicked broke up the pin @ 13:10.
Jigsaw looked like he finally was ready to take back his belt. He hit the JIG N' TONIC and just before the ref hit the mat three times Hallowicked saved his master. Soon Mike Quackenbush evened the odds and the Temple left the scene.
-FATAL FOUR WAY - CONTENDERS MATCH- 8) "King of Diamonds" Eddie Kingston defeated "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, "Big Rig" Brodie Lee (w/Eddie Fyne) & Brent Albright when Kingston pinned Albright with the BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE @ 26:02.
Danielson had Albright in trouble with the CATTLE MUTILATION locked in but Kingston landed a stiff kick and then a Backfist to get the fall and title shot.

Charm City Championship Wrestling September 10, 2011 Bel Air, Maryland The Armory
Card #28 - "SOMEWHERE BETWEEN HEAVEN AND HELL"
*CHARLIE COX is out to run down tonight's card when he is interrupted by LARRY SWEENEY. Sweeney boasts about managing the tag team champions and how they will easily retain against Team F.I.S.T. tonight. He also wants to apologize to the fans of depriving them of the greatest segment in wrestling history - "THE WINNERS CIRCLE" and he says that he'd like to give the fans a treat and hold an impromptu interview with the greatest winner that CCW has to offer - himself! Just as Sweeney begins to talk AUSTIN ARIES interrupts with his own microphone. Sweeney sneers and thought that Brodie Lee had sent Aries off to TNA or some other second rate promotion. Aries says that he's here to stay and that he has something for Lee in due time. But first he'd like to shut Sweeney up just one more time as a warm-up. Sweeney is furious and challenges Aries to a match in Berwyn Heights @ HOT IN THE SHADE. Aries agrees then insults "Sweet N' Sour" one last time before leaving.
1) Crossbones (w/Ultramantis Black) pinned Dasher Hatfield @ 6:10 when Hatfield missed a shoulder tackle and Crossbones used a ROLL UP with tights.
The bigger masked man used plenty of power moves to gain the upper hand. Hatfield could have used his tag partner to help combat Mantis interference as well.
2) "Big Rig" Brodie Lee (w/Eddie Fyne) beat Al Snow with the BIG BOOT @ 9:25.
Lee simply had too much power for Snow. Lee and Fyne both called out Austin Aries who was in the building daring him to come out and take him on man to man. Aries failed to show as the two laughed as they left the ring.
-Fatal Four Way Elimination Match- 3) Osirian Portal defeated The Heartbreak Express (w/Eddie Fyne) , Mark & Jay Briscoe and Theater of Pain (w/Louden Noxious)
Elim #1- Ophidian defeated Sean Davis with the DEATH GRIP @ 6:25. Elim #2 - Jay Briscoe pinned Comedy with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE @ 8:50. Elim #3 - Amasis pinned Mark Briscoe with the TWIST OF FUNK @ 14:45.
The Portal got the surprise win and may have earned another shot at the tag team titles.
4) Nigel McGuinness beat Tim Donst (w/Larry Sweeney) with the TOWER OF LONDON @ 11:45.
McGuinness outwrestled Donst most of the match but a distraction by Mike Quackenbush helped Nigel use a foreign object to knock Donst to the mat. The fans didn't seem to care and were happy to see both Sweeney and Donst rage into a temper tantrum.
-TEXAS DEATH MATCH- 5) Ultramantis Black & Hallowicked beat "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw when Hallowicked pinned Jigsaw with the HEADLESS HORSEMAN @ 12:45
Violent tag match between these four. The tag moves of Mantis and Hallowicked were the difference in victory.
-CCW Tag Team Title Match- 6) Team F.I.S.T. beat The King of Wrestling (c) (w/Larry Sweeney) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 15:03.
Sweeney blatantly rushed the ring to save the titles tonight. Icarus hit the PEDIGREE on Chris Hero in the center of the ring but Sweeney hit the Flying Elbow to gain the disqualification. Oddly enough the fans were on the side of F.I.S.T.
-Falls Count Anywhere- 7) Jerry Lynn defeated "Bloody" Harker Dirge with a CRADLE PILEDRIVER @ 5:06
Lynn made quick work of the vampire in this one. He used a steel chair in many creative ways to bust open his foe as well. Lynn seems to be taking to his old style quite well as of late.
-CCW Heavyweight Title Match- 8) "King of Diamonds" Eddie Kingston beat Tyler Black (c) (w/April Hunter) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 27:34 when Hunter interfered.
Kingston once again came with a second of winning the title. After a long match, Kingston landed two Backfists to the Future and went for the cover. April Hunter broke up three and the ref called for the bell. She didn't leave right away and get goading Kingston to take a swing. Kingston turned his back and she rushed him but he spun around and clotheslined her! He then hit a Backdrop Driver on her as Black came to. Kingston hit another Backfist that sent Black through the ropes.

Charm City Championship Wrestling September 24, 2011 Berwyn Heights, Maryland Berwyn Center
Card #29 - "HOT IN THE SHADE"
*TYLER BLACK was out with APRIL HUNTER to start the show. Black went on about EDDIE KINGSTON'S "attack" on Hunter in Bel Air. He demanded that Kingston show his face because he has a challenge for him. Kingston arrives on the scene and Black says that he wants a mixed tag team match in Hampstead at "ALL FOR THE GLORY". He realizes that Kingston doesn't know too many women but if he could dig up someone to face he and April he love nothing more than to beat him up some more and so would Hunter. Kingston smiled and said that he already had someone in mind and that he and his partner would be happy to meet in October. However that title situation still isn't settled and Kingston wants a fair shot to meet him in the ring. Black tells him to worry about making out of Hampstead in one piece before he talks about the future. Kingston says fine, that he'll wait a little longer but he's running out of patience.
1) Jerry Lynn (w/Al Snow) defeated Hallowicked (w/Crossbones) with the CRADLE PILEDRIVER @ 6:02.
Lynn continued his "ECW"style ways and did not seem concerned with the disqualification rule. Hallowicked hit the Graveyard Smash and appeared to have Lynn out but the ref was distracted during the count as Snow grabbed the ref through the ropes breaking the count. Hallowicked turned around and Lynn hit a German Suplex into the finisher for the three count.
2) The Throwbacks defeated Theater of Pain (w/Louden Noxious) by Forfeit.
Noxious came out to the ring by himself and was frantic. He said that he had no idea where his tag team was tonight. After the officials gave the match to Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton, the ring announcer said that he was asked to give Louden a note. Noxious looked at it and got even more panicked and began screaming that he'd think of something and that he can't let this happen. He sped off quickly to the back. CCW Commissioner Charlie Cox was now out at ringside and he stepped into the ring. He asked the fans if they wanted to know what the note said. Cox replied - "ONLY TWO LEFT"
3) "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush pinned "Bloody" Harker Dirge with the QUACKENDRIVER II @ 4:35.
Quackenbush made very quick work of Dirge who oddly enough had no one from the Order in his corner. He used speed and a combination of moves to get the victory. As Quackenbush walks back to the locker room and shakes hands with the fans a soda vendor gets a bit too close and then smashes the tray over Quackenbush's head. After ripping off a hat and fake moustache everyone can see a smiling Tim Donst putting the boots to Quackenbush. He leaves elated as wrestlers and officials help Quack to the back.
4) Austin Aries defeated "Sweet N' Sour" Larry Sweeney with the LAST CHANCERY @ 3:10.
Sweeney was out first and said that Tim Donst would not be at ringside and neither would the Tag Team champions - The Kings of Wrestling. He'd handle Aries by himself. He didn't. Aries dominated the action and then applied the finisher for a tap out win. Aries then had a few words for Brodie Lee and Eddie Fyne and said that they may have hurt him but he's right back in the ring again. They have to do better than that to get rid of him for good.
5) Mark & Jay Briscoe defeated Team F.I.S.T. when Mark pinned Icarus with the CUT THROAT DRIVER @ 10:45 after a botched tag team move.
An exciting match with several near falls. The finish saw Gran Akuma hold Mark Briscoe and Icarus set up on the second turnbuckle. He flew off and nailed Akuma instead. A stunned Icarus was then dumped on his head by Mark and the Briscoes won the match. Afterwards some words were exchanged between Akuma and Icarus as Icarus then left without his partner.
-FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE- 6) "Shooter" Brent Albright beat Bishop Hell (w/Louden Noxious) with the CROWBAR @ 7:25.
Noxious was shaky and paranoid most of the match as he seemed to always be looking over his shoulder. Albright was focused on revenge here and he got it as he locked in the Fujiwara armbar for a tap out.
7) "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson and "Big Rig" Brodie Lee (w/Eddie Fyne) fought to a DOUBLE COUNTOUT @ 9:15.
This match turned out to be too much for the official to handle as both men battled on the floor and ignored the ref's pleas to get back in the ring. This brought out both Austin Aries to fire away on Lee and Brent Albright to get some shots in on Danielson.
-CCW Crusierweight Title Match - 2 out of 3 Falls- 8) Jigsaw defeated Ultramantis Black 2 Falls to 1 to Capture the CCW Crusierweight Title
Fall#1 - Ultramantis Black pinned Jigsaw with the ELECTRIC CHAIR @ 7:35. Fall #2 - Jigsaw pinned Ultramantis Black with the QUACKENDRIVER I @ 12:45. Fall #3 - Jigsaw pinned Ultramantis Black with the JIG N' TONIC @ 16:52.
Jigsaw finally got his revenge after several months. The interference of the Order of the Neo-Solar Temple backfired in the second fall as Harker Dirge accidentally hit Mantis which gave Jigsaw a chance to hit the driver to even the match. Before the last fall Charlie Cox said that no one would be allowed at ringside or they would risk immediate suspension. This led to an exciting back and forth finish with Jig finally getting the three count to reclaim the title.
