Kingston had taken the match to the outside to break from Quack's offense. Quackenbush attempted a Suicide Dive but caught himself and the two battled on the outside. As ref, Nick Scott tried to break things up Kingston dodged a Quack Palm Blow and put Scott in the way. The thrust pushed the ref back and he hit his head on the ringpost. When he came to - Quack had the Chikara Special locked in but the official rang the bell and called for the match to be given to Kingston instead.
5) Chris Hero defeated D'Lo Brown with the HERO'S WELCOME @ 9:35.

Card#2 - "The Beginning of the End is the Beginning" - Part 2
Charm City Heavyweight Title Tournament
Second Round:
1) "Rising Sun" Joe Armstrong defeated "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson with SUNSET SPECTACULAR @ 5:12 after the distraction of Buff Bagwell.
Armstrong pulled off a bit of an upset and it was due to the unsolicited interference of Buff. Danielson was working on his ground attack while Bagwell walked out to ringside with April Hunter. Hunter distracted the official while Bagwell reached in the ring and slapped Danielson across the face. Danielson paused then hit an amazing Suicide Dive on Bagwell on the floor. As Danielson slowly got back in the ring Armstrong was waiting and used a waistlock suplex to soften him up for his finisher.
2) Chris Hero beat Delirious by COUNTOUT @ 12:45.
Hero inflicted a great deal of punishment on the masked man but Delirious showed no quit. He turned the tables and reversed a whip and hit several clotheslines in the corner. He went for a Spear but Hero ducked down and instead he went flying out to the concrete and hit his head on the guardrail. Hero staggered about while the ref counted and he eventually hit ten. Medics helped Delirious to the back but there appeared to be no major damage.
3) "King of Diamonds" Eddie Kingston beat Al Snow with a LARIAT @ 3:10.
Kingston was all business and wanted to prove that his victory over Quackenbush was no fluke. His Yakuza kick in the corner to Snow had him seeing stars and left him easy prey for a stiff Lariat for the finish.
4) "The Star" Austin Aries (w/Eddie Fyne) defeated "Big Rig" Brodie Lee by Forfeit @ :10.
Before the match Eddie Fyne made Lee a job offer. He flashed a wad of bills and threw a few down on the mat. If he took the money then he would become the bodyguard ans muscle for the "Elegant Army". But he would also have to leave the ring and let Aries advance. Lee thought about it as Fyne stood and counted off ten bills and and held them out for Lee. A few tense moments but Lee smiled and took the money much to the crowd's anger. Lee left and then walked back with Aries and Fyne.
-Fatal Four Way- Charm City Tag Team Championship Match- 5) Jay & Mark Briscoe defeated The Osirian Portal & Team F.I.S.T. (Gran Akuma & Icarus) & the Heartbreak Express when Jay pinned Amasis with the SPIKE JAY DRILLER @ 20:21 to capture the titles.
There was way too much action to describe as the object was to be the first team to score a pinfall or submission. The Briscoes came out of the confusion with a victory.
Semi-Finals: 6) "Rising Sun" Joe Armstrong beat Chris Hero by COUNTOUT @ 11:51.
Armstrong hit a breathtaking flipping dive onto Hero. He fell back and slammed into the ringside crew. Armstrong was able to roll back in just before the official reached ten.
7) "The Star" Austin Aries (w/Eddie Fyne & Brodie Lee) defeated 'King of Diamonds" Eddie Kingston with the LAST CHANCERY @ 5:25.

Final: 9) "Rising Sun" Joe Armstrong beat "The Star' Austin Aries with a SUNSET SPECTACULAR @ 16:44.
CCW Commissioner Charlie Cox made a few announcements before the start of the match. First he wanted a clear winner so he made both Eddie Fyne and Brodie Lee leave ringside. If they interfered they would be suspended. Second, Senior official Bryce Remsburg would have the call. Aries seemed shaken by the announcements and attacked Rising Sun before the bell. Aries didn't have enough has he was stopped admist every trick. Armstrong his his speciality move to capture the gold.

*CCW Commissioner Charlie Cox made the ruling that the Main Event would be a CCW Heavyweight Title defense between "Rising Sun" and Austin Aries. The fans demanded it!
2) Bishop Hell (w/Louden Noxious) defeated "The Shooter" Brent Albright with the FLYING CROSS @ 4:01.
The strange bishop with his obnoxious manager made surprisingly quick work of Albright. This is the second straight match where Albright has had difficulty getting going.
3) The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) beat Al Snow & Delirious when Hero pinned Delirious with the HERO'S WELCOME @ 13:25.

-Charm City Crusierweight Title Match- 4) Jigsaw (c) defeated Icarus with a BRAINBUSTER @ 7:35.
The action was fast paced between both wrestlers. The champion looked strong and it wasn't long before Icarus' F.I.S.T. teammate Gran Akuma made his way to ringside. He attempted to interfere but the masked man caught him and tossed him off the mat into the rail. He then put away his opponent with a strong brainbuster for the duke.
*THE WINNER'S CIRCLE w/ LARRY SWEENEY*
Before Jigsaw could leave the ring he was promptly ambushed by Larry Sweeney who brought his own microphone. Sweeney anounced that Jigsaw was his first guest on "The Winner's Circle". He congratulated him on his victory but wondered why Icarus, mainly a tag team specialist was given a title shot when others would have been more suitable - like say himself. Jigsaw wasn't playing games and said all he had to do was put in a request to Charlie Cox. "I don't make the matches, I just win them." He then brushed past Sweeney and left. Sweeney got indignant and said that he decides when the interview is over and-- it's over now. It also means that it's the end of you Jigsaw.
5) Tyler Black defeated "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush with the PHOENIX SPLASH @ 5:01.
Black and Quack engaged in a few quick exchanges. Quack got caught in the ropes and fell easy victim to the 450 Splash for the win. But the match did not finish there as Black left a ring. A masked man stepped out from the crowd and began to pummel Quackenbush. He smashed his face into the steel and opened him up. Help arrived too late as Quackenbush had to be stretchered out while the assailant left the way he came. Who was this man?
*Mike Quackenbush is out 8 cards
6) The Osirian Portal (Ophidian & Amasis) beat The Heartbreak Express (Sean & Phil Davis) (w/Eddie Fyne) when Ophidian applied the COBRA DEATH GRIP on Phil and got him to submit @ 16:34.
Things looked bleak for the Portal. A pier six brawl broke out with all four men in the ring and in the confusion the legal man, Ophidian was able to latch on to Phil Davis in the center of the ring.
7) "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson defeated Buff Bagwell (w/April Hunter) @ 10:45 with the CATTLE MUTILATION.
Danielson hit the ring before the bell and was met with a stomp of Bagwell's boot. The match turned once Danielson hit several high-risk moves over the ropes to the concrete floor. Danielson's superior skill had Bagwell dumbfounded as even Hunter's attempts at interference could not help. He finally ended things with the double chickenwing crossface and even held on just a bit longer after the bell had rung.
-CCW Heavyweight Title Match- 8) "Rising Sun" Joe Armstrong (c) beat "The Star" Austin Aries (w/Brodie Lee & Eddie Fyne) by DISQUALIFICATION when Lee attacked Armstrong during the pinfall @ 4:05.

*Special Update*
CCW Commissioner Charlie Cox is here with an update and a special video. The next CCW card will be February 13th in Severna Park - "Watching the Detectives".
Mike Quackenbush (vid.)
"As you can see I'm doing just fine and it won't be long before I'm back in the ring. Of course the big question that I've been pondering during my time out is just who was cowardly enough to attack me? But not just that - why were they trying to injure me?
I've made many enemies over the years and there are a few people on this roster that I'm setting my sights on. Be advised that when I come back and it will be very, very soon. I will bring justice to my attacker."
