GOH continues to be a very cool fed, it was a matter of time Pit Viper lost the belt but I'm sorta surprised Thantos lost the belt to Star Warrior and too bad Pit Viper has slipped away from the title scene...

July 1st, 2087 Edition We are just days removed from the epic showdown at the Deimos Arena that was "Death Before Dishonor" and what a historic night it was. Thantos became the first person in GOH history to win the GOH Galaxian Heavyweight Championship twice. His win over now former champion Star Warrior was not long and hard faught battle to say the least. But this seems to be Thantos's M.O. when it comes to having a chance at winning the championship. Remember when he faced off with Pit Viper for the title and it only lasted 2 minutes if that? This match lasted a little longer but still had the same result. Another fact to note as well. The champion going into a title match has lost every time so far. Guess those non title matches are something to start taking seriously huh? Star Warrior was very upset with himself after Death Before Dishonor in knowing that he only held the championship for a week's time before losing it again. He was said to have told his father Omega that by losing the title that quickly that his winning streak meant nothing to him. That when it really mattered that he could not come thru in the clutch. As of today in speaking with Omega, He told us that Star Warrior has gone back to their private gym on Omega's private land to train as hard as he can for the upcoming shows. As per the agreement of the match, Star Warrior will not receive his title rematch as he was already given two chances to win the title and while he won on his first try, He gave up his second chance as part of the title match clause for Death Before Dishonor. If Thantos had not won the title back he would not have received another shot at the title right away either. The Gladiators are furious to say the least at the fact that a disqualification cost them the GOH Galaxian Tag Team Championships. The war council on Aethra had been on the phone with the GOH offices and Owner Zachary Carter about the Gladiators rematch and getting it taken care of as soon as possible. We can confirm that there rematch will happen at the next show in the traditional non title format which the council was not happy with at first but said that the Gladiators would be able to work off their aggression in that match before winning the titles back at the following show. Speaking of the tag team titles, The Greek Gods went back home with their newly won tag team championships and reports are that they had a party waiting for them thrown by the emperor himself. The Greek Gods were hailed as hero's in their home land and proclaimed that they would be fighting champions and uphold the "Code of Honor" like great hero's should. Going into our next show on July 12th. The rankings look like this... Singles Rankings as of 06.29.2087GOH Galaxian Heavyweight Championship: Thantos#1 - Star Warrior (223 points) #2 - Wolf (174 points) #3 - Pit Viper (168 points) #4 - Massif (163 points) #5 - Invincible Krakan (145 points) #6 - Lord Nexus (132 points) #7 - Comrade Terror (131 points) #8 - Pulsar (98 points) #9 - Mutant (93 points) #10 - Exo-King (77 points) #11 - Ghengis Khan (73 points) Tag Team Rankings as of 06.29.2087GOH Galaxian Tag Team Championships: Greek Gods#1 - Gladiators of Aethra (181 points) #2 - Neptunian Space-Croppers (107 points) #3 - The F.D.F. Hey Gang, I came up with a new idea that I put into the GOH Rule Book today. From now on there will always be a number one contenders match for the tag team titles. Twist to it is that if the tag team champions are defending the titles against another team, the number one contenders then must defend there number one contenders against whoever the tag team is that wins the quailfying tag team match from the previous show.
If you have noticed I run three tag team matches a show. The first is a qualifying match with the winner moving on to the number one contenders match at the next show while the loser stays put. On that same show the team that wins the Number One Contenders match moves on to face the champions while the loser falls back to the quailfying match. Also the losers of the non title or title match (If not champions first) would fall back to the number one contenders match.
This should shake things up some more and make for some good storylines in the tag team rank as we saw the High Society lose their ranking to the F.D.F. tonight and now they will have to defend that honor at the next show against the N.S.C. as the Gladiators have a title shot at the next show.
Good Times coming

July 25th, 2087 Edition Did the Greek Gods really get a fluke victory over the Gladiators at Death Before Dishonor? Some are wondering if they did because 2 weeks ago while they put up a fight against the Gladiators in the non title match they still lost the match and now have to defend those titles against the former champions at tomorrow nights show. One thing going for them in this match is that count outs and disqualification are both enforced and if the match tomorrow night is anything like the match 2 weeks ago they may survive and walk out tag team champions. Survival seems to be the key word around here as we start heading towards the "Survival of the Fittest" super card on September 27th. Thantos was able to withstand the onslaught from Wolf 2 weeks ago to come out on top and deny "The Wildman" his chance to win gold. Thantos has already claimed that this run will be longer then the last. He says this because he believes that his skill will help him out. Tough to do when you opponent is randomly drawn a week before the show. Time to prepair for an opponent yes but look what happened when he drew Star Warrior? As we said earlier the next big super card for the GOH is "Survival of the Fittest" on September 27th. Survival of the fittest is going to be a unique card to say the least. 10 of the 11 superstars chosen at random will meet in 3 triple threat matches with the winners of those matches along with the one superstar to receive a bye will meeting in a fatal fourway match in the main event of the show. The winner of this unique one night tournament will automatically earn a shot at the GOH Galaxian Heavyweight Championship at the final super card of the year "Final Battle" on December 20th. The GOH Champion and the number one contender at the time will be excluded from the tournament as they will have a match that night for the title.
