August 8th, 2087 Edition Many fans and friends of Massif are worried about the big man after his loss to Thantos in a non title match at the last show. The loss seemed to take a huge toll on the confidence of the big man who was very mad at himself for not putting up a better fight on that night. It has been reported that no one has been able to reach the big man since he left the arena after the show but many believe that he is at home resting and deep in thought for when he comes back tomorrow night for his next match. Thantos is not helping matters at all right now either. He has gone around for the last two weeks telling everyone that he wishes he could just fight Massif at every show so he would have an easy night's work and always be fresh and ready to go out and party that night. Thantos may not want to make any other plans right now as he still has 4 more shows before what will look like another rematch with Star Warrior for the GOH Championship at "Survival of the Fittest" at the end of September. Sometimes when the chips are down and the cards are on the table we see people raise to the top of the pile. The Greek Gods over came huge odds and the fact that no one thought they would be able to defeat the Gladiators and they were able to do just that at the last show to retain the GOH Tag Team Championships. The win did give them some credit in the eye's of some of the non believes who thought that there win at Death Before Dishonor was a fluke win. They now head onto the next show where they will face off with the number one contenders for the titles, The F.D.F. in non title action. One last thing to note, In the span of the last two cards Lord Nexus has volted up 2 spots in the rankings from 6th to 4th overall now and is making ground on Pit Viper for third overall in the rankings. Nexus was 7th overall when the first rankings came out in March of this year. He has tied Wolf is most number of spot gained in the rankings. Thantos holds the record a 4 when he won the GOH Championship ranked 4th overall at the time.

Just getting caught up and all seems right with the galaxy. Despite my dislike of The Greek Gods they just seem to fit the Tag Titles and Thantos should continue to reign superme as the GOH Champion.
Thought High Society would get another chance to capture gold, but got shut down by the FDF, who managed to defend their position. Now the FDF get a to earn another title shot. This time against the Greek Gods. Should be an interesting match.

The FDF may just capture the tag belts from the Greek Gods, though it will be a tough fight, and then the Gladiators are going to step in and take them back. The Aethrans have just been too dominate and only got eliminated last time because of a DQ.
Thantos still reigns supreme after that Star Warrior bump and should have a long run as champion.

The hope is that someone bumps Star Warrior out of the number one contendership spot before Survival of the Fittest in a couple of weeks. Not sure if Thantos can pull off one more title win over Star Warrior or not. Terror gave him his first lost outside of a title match at the last show so we will see.

A Big W for Comrade Terror, he might be the next one to take the #1 spot from SW and Thantos I could see retaining the gold for a long reign...
Good seeing Ghengis Khan win over Pulsar and Massif over Exo-King...

August 22nd, 2087 Edition The F.D.F. have been there before. They have been to the big title match and lost when it counted the most. At Death Before Dishonor it came down to the Greek Gods and The F.D.F. with the winners becoming the new GOH Galaxian Tag Team Champions. The Gods came out on top after a very long match. Tomorrow night, The F.D.F. get a chance at redemption when the GOH presents Destiny at the Deimos Arena. The F.D.F. said that they learned alot from the match at Death Before Dishonor and believe they have what it take to win the match and become the third team to hold the GOH Galaxian Tag Team Championships this year. What both teams must realize is that the former tag team champions, The Gladiators of Aethra are waiting in the wings for their shot at the tag team titles again. Speaking of Destiny, Could a rookie wrestler in his first year of competing as a pro wrestler win the biggest match of his career to date? It has been scheduled that the rookie Pulsar will face off in a non title match against the GOH Galaxian Heavyweight Champion Thantos. Pulsar is not one that can be taken easily. He has pulled off some upsets this year but this would be the biggest one of the year by far. If we know Thantos like we know him he may over look the rookie and get caught off guard. The GOH is looking into the way they have set up the "Survival of the Fittest Tournament" and may make an announcement in the coming weeks of a redesign to it. Inside word is that they are looking at scraping the "Triple Threat" set up for one on one matches with the winners of the match facing off in a gauntlet style main event match. We will see what will happen.

September 5th Edition It was just two weeks ago that we did the last newswire and alot of things have changed here in the GOH. To start with we have new GOH Galaxian Tag Team Champions as The F.D.F. (Federation Defense Fighters) became only the third team in GOH history to capture the Galaxian Tag Team Championships at Destiny. It was the second attempt for the F.D.F. at winning the coveted tag team straps. The first time was in the triple threat match back at Death Before Dishonor. Tomorrow night the new tag team champions arrive at the arena for their first non title match against the former champions The Greek Gods to see if they can earn a shot back at the titles or not. The match was only the 4th time since the belts were first crowed that titles were on the line. Surprisingly it was the third longest match in Tag Title history. The match between the Gladiators and the N.S.C. at Glory by Honor holds that record. It looks like Thantos did not over look the young Pulsar like many thought he would. Thantos was able to roll past the rookie even though he put up a decent fight. The GOH Board of Directors are now looking at all the shows from this season to see who deserves the next non title shot at tomorrow nights show. The GOH Board of Directors have announced the format for Survival of the Fittest. As reported here two weeks ago, There will be 5 qualifying matches with the winner of those matches going on be in a "Gauntlet" style final match of the night. The winner of that match will automatically receive a title shot at the GOH Galaxian Heavyweight Championship at our final card of the year, Final Battle 2087. The GOH Board of Directors have also announced that they will be looking to hold a couple of events on some near by planets in 2088. GOH Owner Zachary Carter was away on business a month ago to attend meetings with arena that may be a good setting for the Galaxy of Honor.
