I had a nice backstory going and then I clicked back on my browser (oops). Basically I restarted my fed and its the new CoTG flavor for me as I had a huge block of history missing and wanted to fill in the gaps (think 2089-2099). I was on the fence about posting a fed but decided the time was right on a quiet Saturday night and the matches for the next PPV were all set and ready to roll. I'm early in 2091.
My format is pretty easy to follow. 30 cards minimum in a year. House cards with no title matches and I'll just post results. I use them to get a feel in my mind if I want to start a mini-feud between some guys outside the official feuds. TV type shows and PPVs I'll try to post more background and do some build-up. I'm pretty by-the-book and won't confuse anyone with obscure bootlegs (or any bootlegs really) and will likely always divert my storylines to line up with the game book for the start of the year.
That said, here's the championship picture and some interesting stats/bits of facts to get anyone who decides to follow on to have something to base the fed off of:
GWF Heavyweight - the main prize - Current champion is Star Warrior in his third reign just won at the most recent PPV. He is also the owner of the longest reign to date of 50 cards (about 2 years game time). Thantos and Wolf each have 2 reigns a piece and Bounty Hunter's only reign came to an end at the recent PPV at the hands of Warrior. Thantos was the first GWF champion.
GWF Tag Team - the bigun for teams - Current champs are the cleansed Gladiators in their fourth title reign. They also hold the longest reign of 36 cards. Both the Greek Gods and Animal Pack have two reigns a piece as well. Gladiators hold the honor of being the first champions.
GWF Interplanetary - the stepping stone to greatness - Current champion is Krakan in his fourth reign who just won the title on the card prior to the PPV and is irate at having to defend the very next card. Every other champ is a one-time title holder - Executioner, Wolf, Exo-King, Star Warrior, Lord Nexus, Mesmer, Comrade Terror, Spike, Bounty Hunter and the Galactic Punisher. Longest reign was Bounty Hunter at 26 cards. Executioner won the title at the first card in a four-man tournament.
GWF Hardcore - Introduced in the 2nd month of 2088 for all of the more wild competitors. All title matches are No Disqualification. The current champion is Pulsar in his second reign. He won the title from Bishop Hell, ending Hell's fourth reign. Other one time champs are Galactic Punisher, Bounty Hunter, Wolf and Splatter. Wolf has the longest reign while Splatter was the first champ.
Other random notes: Pulsar is the first wrestler to be both a one and two time singles champion despite having a losing record for his career.
Iron Mane dominated Spike in their feud but was always turned back by the incumbent champion when given shots.
Galactic Punisher's IP title reign came as a result of Bounty Hunter forfeiting the title after winning the Heavyweight belt in a Champ Vs. Champ match.
Creature Feature is the only winless defunct tag team.
The worst record for any singles competitor is Serpent Unman who has only managed to win 17% of his matches.
Enough of that - Onto the matches!

Match Line-up Card 125 - March 22, 2091 JUDGMENT DAY
Undercard
Beasts of Burden Vs. Nightmare The first attempt at teaming for Iron Mane and Badger. They'll take on a struggling Nightmare team who has taking their lumps from the Titans.
Pit Viper Vs. Death Masque Opening salvo of what is sure to be an intense feud in 2091. Can Viper make his first match after returning to the Titans a victory or will a Meltdown sideline his plan?
Prison Camp Vs. Greek Gods Even with a disgruntled Tongsoon, Prison Camp has gotten off to a fast start in 2091. Former tag champs, the Greek Gods hope to be too much for the upstart team.
Royal Creeps Vs. Bomb Squad Another 2091 feud that only has a countout decision for the Creeps so far. Sam and Quake are looking to find the team bond quickly against a surprisingly successful team of Jester and Queen.
Matador of M83 Vs. Battering Ram This one is heating up. After dropping the first encounter, Matador made short work of Ram in the second match. Here's the next installment and rumors have it Guile will pull out all the stops to give his man the win.
Lance At-Las Vs. Comrade Terror At-Las took the first fall at the Perennial but Terror has proven to be a tough match-up to all he faces. What will happen in the second matchup of these two?
Torture Chamber Match Spike Vs. Mayhem Mayhem has mocked Spike for weeks over his traitorous treatment of Brute and Massacre. Spike had heard enough and laid down the challenge for the Torture Chamber. Gladiator Vs. Gladiator with Aethran pride on the line.
GWF Interplanetary Championship No Disqualifications Stipulation Krakan (c) Vs. Wolf Krakan is fuming after winning the title just a week ago having to defend on a quick turnaround in a War Games battle against the wildman Wolf. Will the Face Claw make Wolf a two-time champion or does Krakan have enough in the tank to grit through with a win?
GWF Tag Team Championship Gladiators (c) Vs. TitanPower Boxer and Nexus have been here before but unable to close out the match. It's a tall order against Brute and Massacre who are quickly closing in on breaking their own longest reign.
GWF Heavyweight Championship Star Warrior (c) Vs. Bounty Hunter A rematch of a great one from the Perennial where Hunter's only title reign was ended early by the Cosmic Big Bang. Guile has been claiming that Hunter will soon join the likes of Thantos and Wolf for title reigns (sure to please Thantos). Does the previously unstoppable Hunter seize the chance to start a new streak or will it be Warrior's continuing?

Results from Card 125 JUDGMENT DAY
Beasts of Burden def. Nightmare by Disqualification A good back and forth battle until Darkos distracted Iron Mane allowing the illegal man, Whiplash, to hit a devastating Backside Beheading that prompted the ref to call for the bell. It looked as though Whiplash and the always violent Splatter were going to attack but Darkos called off his dogs for some reason.
Pit Viper def. Death Masque after a VENOM BLAST After the result of the previous match, the referee banned Darkos from ringside. Death Masque struggled to find offense and couldn't win one cleanly. Darkos was overheard in the back stated he was being unfairly treated and vowed to have revenge.
Greek Gods def. Prison Camp when Actagon finished Tendron with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP An easy win for the Greeks. Tongsoon never touched the inside of the ring and we'll have to wonder how he feels about that.
Bomb Squad def. Royal Creeps via pinfall Earthquake was a one man wrecking ball throwing Queen all over the mat and then finishing Jester off with his power. Overlord tried to stop the fall but couldn't break it.
We go to the back where Guile has been given a microphone and is with Bounty Hunter and Matador.
Guile: These two mammoths of power are going to first prove to the galaxy and to Amazonia that her freakshow can't hack it and second that the GWF title belongs with the true men.
Matador of M83 def Battering Ram via Disqualification Ram proves once again to be a worthy competitor to the Matador as the sneaky Guile plants a steel chair in Ram's hand by throwing it at him and Matador acts his way to a win. Ram had slight control of the match when the ref was tricked into calling it.
Mayhem is with the Guardsman in the back screaming and punching his locker.
Mayhem: I'm gonna rip the traitorous poster boy to shreds. There'll be nothing left of him after I leave him broken in the chamber.
Comrade Terror def. Lance At-Las via Disqualification This one got violent on the outside of the ring and the ref decided it was At-Las who got carried away. It may have been the body slam on the exposed concrete or the whip into the stairs but Terror was left down and out and will certainly be looking for revenge.
Spike is about to make his entrance but has some words for the camera.
Spike: Mayhem, you don't know the first, second or third thing about being an Aethran. After I bounce your thick skull off the chamber bars and leave you in a pool of your own blood, maybe you'll get some sense.
Spike def. Mayhem 3 falls to none in the Torture Chamber Falls one and two were great back and forth battles between these two gladiators. Mayhem fell in fall one to a MEGADESTROYER while fall two was a Deadly Decapitator. Fall three was all Spike as he did as he claimed, bouncing Mayhem off the Chamber falls, busting him open and then hitting a final MEGADESTROYER for good measure. Mayhem is injured for 2 cards.
Thantos makes his way to the commentator area for the next match with the largest boos from the crowd all night. He claims after watching a disappointment like Mayhem, he wants to see his brother-in-arms Krakan break Wolf.
Wolf becomes the new Interplanetary Champion by defeating Krakan via pinfall The two traded offense for a while but Wolf got the upper hand and applied the FACE CLAW which prompted Thantos to enter the ring. The loudest pop of the night came as Wolf knocked Thantos out of the ring, hit a Skullcrusher and won the title.
Gladiators retain their tag titles after THE CLEANSING on Lord Nexus TitanPower got off to a fast start and made a pinfall attempt on Massacre but things were all downhill from there. A huge brawl outside the ring where Massacre decommissioned Boxer with one of the tag titles led to Nexus being hit with the potent tag finisher.
Star Warrior retains the GWF Championship over Bounty Hunter via pinfall Guile's prophecy is only half true as Omega prevents Guile from interfering and Warrior is able to do the rest. Hunter got the early offense but Warrior soon took over hitting a COSMIC BIG BANG and earning the pin shortly thereafter.
My take: The dice did a fair bit of derailing for me here. Was looking to push a Thantos-Wolf series pretty hard after Krakan retained on the interference. I just can't see Thantos competing for the IP belt at this stage. Spike takes some backseat even though hes on a roll with his teammate holding the big belt. The undercard developed into some things going forward. Keep reading. Thanks for the wb, Paint.

Thread necro. Whew time flies. I've finally had a chance to roll out a few more cards and will post the results later today/tonight. Highlights include defenses of all the championships, a severe injury in the lower tiers and a few struggling uppercarders.

Better late than never. Here are the most recent results from 2091 in my fed:
Card 126 - House Show
Renegade destroyed Mr. Galaxy and brutally beat down his adversary after the match was completed, injuring Mr. Galaxy for 5 fight cards. With no true structure in place for punishment yet, Renegade walked off free.
Death Masque took a victory from Pit Viper. This feud should continue to boil with the decisions split right down the middle.
Prison Camp won a rebound match after the disappointment at the PPV over GalactiCops. Tongsoon hit BATTLE CRY to finish Justice. Prison Camp is looking surprisingly strong early in the year.
Beasts of Burden spoil the NightStalkers debut as a team when Badger finished Serpent Unman with an ANDROMEDA DROP. Has to be frustrating for Bounty Hunter who controlled most of the match only to watch his partner get pinned.
In a No Disqualification match, Thantos won a pinfall victory over Spike in a solid main event. Thantos solidifys his claim as the next contender in line to face Star Warrior for the GWF title.
Card 127 - House Show
Eastern Dynasty upsets the Norse Gods after a MONGOLIAN MAULER. Neither team making much noise in the tag ranks.
Lance At-Las is victorious over Whiplash with a MARTIAN MANHANDLER. Having a finisher abbreviated MM looks to be good luck on this particular evening.
The Young Allies are defeated by Royal Creeps after Killer Queen locks CHECKMATE onto Vlad Hammer. The Creeps have been hovering on the fringe of title contention.
In the match that stole the show, Commander Sam shocks the Matador of M83 after a great back and forth battle. The loss knocked Matador down to an unimpressive .500 start in his rookie year. Sam has been sneaky good in the fed.
The GWF Hardcore Champion Pulsar is unable to retain against Bishop Hell and succumbs to HELLFIRE. Bishop Hell leaves the ring as a 5-time Hardcore Champion.
Card 128 - House Show
Vanity can't avenge his fallen teammate as Terak defeats the former Natural Man with BARBARIAN SHUFFLE. Vanity is outclassed the entire match.
The Norse Gods surprise the Cosmic Forces when AntiMatter is counted out. Cosmic Forces has been struggling thus far and needs to string some good wins together to be in the title hunt.
Count Necros isn't able to find his elusive first victory as his rival, Mesmer, submits him with BLACKOUT.
The violent combination of Whiplash and Splatter, also known as Nightmare, are disqualified on the outside of the ring against TitanPower. Darkos is furious as his tag team have been disqualified in over half of their losses.
GWF Interplanetary Champion Wolf successfully defends his title against Commander Sam, finishing the match with the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. After the match, Wolf helps Sam to his feet and the two share a handshake much to the delight of the fans.
The breaking news after card 128 is that the GWF has signed a deal with major Holovision network, GBC, to air a bi-monthly show in Saturday primetime. And the even bigger news is that the first will be card 130 with the GWF Heavyweight title on the lime between Star Warrior and Thantos.
Card 129 - House Show
Mutant wins via countout over former teammater Creeper.
Beasts of Burden defeat the Royal Creeps after an ANDROMEDA DROP on Mad Jester. This win firmly puts the AniMen in early contention for a tag title shot.
Adam Blast controls the opening bell to the end of the match against the Matador of M83 but stunningly, Matador pulls off the win with BULLWHIP just as he looks to be beaten.
Massif defeats his rival, Exo-King after a VOLCANIC DROP. Exo-King was very anemic on offense throughout the match.
In the main event, the GWF Tag Team Champions, the Gladiators escape the Greek Gods when Proteus is disqualified outside the ring. Actagon appears a tad frustrated with his partner as they once again leave the arena without the titles.
Coming Next - The very first episode of GWF Battleground.
GWF Champion Star Warrior defends against Thantos
Gladiator Vs. Gladiator as Spike battles Mayhem in a No DQ match
TitanPower goes up against Cosmic Forces
Battering Ram gets a shot at Comrade Terror
The new Bomb Squad faces off against up and coming Prison Camp
The Pit Viper - Death Masque feud continues
Count Necros looks for win number one against Vlad Hammer
The NightStalkers battle the Barbarians
My thoughts - This should be my new format for matches and result posting with 4 house shows setting up a TV show (except for PPV). I put together some formulas to make sure all the competitors get a minimum number of matches in a given year. Yeah I'm a nerd. It resulted in having to add a few cards a year with more matches. On to the matches: Matador barely caught a break with Adam Blast. I held my breath as the die betrayed my slow push for him until the very last second. Cosmic Forces are another team not living up to the potential. However, Battleground more than made up for my woes. Be back to post it a bit later. Thanks for reading and thanks for the posts, Swarm and steelthunder.

Great action!
How dare Renegade mess with Vanity! He'll get his!
Prison Camp beat the GalactiCops! That's a big upset in my book.
Keep those results coming in.

Card 130 - GWF Battleground
NightStalkers Vs. Barbarians Bounty Hunter never tagged in Serpent Unman but was still able to take care of business pinning Renegade with AMBUSH with help from Reynard B. Guile.
Count Necros Vs. Vlad Hammer Necros finally gets his first win in the GWF after it takes 4 moves to finish the young Russian with PHANTOM DUST.
Pit Viper Vs. Death Masque The Titan is too much for Death Masque to handle and Pit Viper picks up the win with VENOM BLAST. Unfortunately, as Viper celebrates on the turnbuckle, Splatter emerges from under the ring and sneaks up from behind. A vicious beating follows from Splatter and Death Masque that will shelve Pit Viper for 2 months.
Doomsayer is in the back hyping up his team who are scheduled to compete in the next three straight matches. He tells them the opportunity they have to show the galaxy who the premier team in the GWF is on this very night.
Bomb Squad Vs. Prison Camp A solid tag matchup that played out just as you'd suspect. Sam picks up the win for Bomb Squad after a Peacemaker Slingshot on Tendron. One match for Doomsayer's dream to be crushed.
Battering Ram Vs. Comrade Terror A surprising squash as Ram is defeated by Terror in all of three moves. The final being the ATOMIC WARHEAD that put Ram down.
We cut to the locker room where we see Star Warrior arriving with Omega. Will Warrior be able to continue his third GWF title reign or will Thantos begin his?
TitanPower Vs. Cosmic Forces A match that may just have stolen the show as the two teams battled back and forth with multiple tags on each side, pin attempts with kick outs and heavy fatigue setting in by the end of the match. At the end, it was AntiMatter getting TKO'd by Billy Jo Boxer and Nexus stopping the pin save.
An intern is sent to the Gladiator locker room for a word with Mayhem before his match with Spike. We see him enter the room just in time to witness Mayhem start headbutting his locker. The intern and the cameraman bolt from the scene before we hear from the Glads.
Spike Vs. Mayhem - No Disqualification Match Another incredible match with Mayhem kicking out of two MEGADESTROYERS before hitting a +6 LEAP OF DOOM on Spike who also kicked out. More pin attempts were had but eventually it was a +4 LEAP OF DOOM that finished Spike.
Thantos gives a few words to the microphone held by the same skittish intern but cuts off any questioning. He tells us that he is about to take his rightful place as GWF Champion.
Star Warrior (c) Vs. Thantos - GWF Heavyweight Championship The main event did not disappoint even with two incredible matches prior. The champion and the challenger traded offense and pin attempts. Thantos appeared to have the upper hand when Star Warrior came roaring back and hit the COSMIC BIG BANG to retain his GWF Title.
Next post: More house show results and the line up for the second installment of Battleground
My take: A good show all in all especially the final three matches which almost (I repeat almost) made me stay for more dice rolling instead of the bar on a Friday night. Those are the matches that prove a card and dice game can get your adrenaline going. Star Warrior is a man on a mission. Seems untouchable. Mayhem getting a win over Spike in his third try gives him some consideration going forward. Cosmic Forces continue to flounder and a temporary pause to a big singles feud between Pit Viper and Death Masque should make it all the more hot when Viper returns. Editorial note: Thanks vx for the post and making me catch my mispost of Vanity being injured. It was Mr. Galaxy who Renegade thrashed. As always, thanks all for reading.
