Some early and surprisingly shocking squashes. Ram really fails to show up. But the Cosmic Forces and TitanPower steal the show. The Cosmic Forces always seem to have a great match, win or lose, for me.
Check out the promoter created rules. There's a chart in there called the Exact Pin Chart that can chase away many of your three or four move matches.

Last update for today:
Card 131 - House Show
Young Allies defeat Eastern Dynasty after a MEGABLAST on Mitsuko. A good back and forth match with Vlad Hammer stopping Ghengis Khan's pin save at the end.
Justice picks up a win over Tendron after a +2 SHOCK PROBATION. Justice had control of this one from start to finish.
Nightmare loses to the Norse Gods when Whiplash passes out under a NORSE SLEEPER GRIP. The team of Splatter and Whiplash has been a complete bust for Darkos.
Mesmer wins over Krakan after the HitMan gets a little too violent on the outside of the ring.
In a No Disqualification match, Iron Mane controls and defeats Bounty Hunter after a FINAL POUNCE. Same story for Iron Mane who seems to beat everyone until gold is on the line.
Card 132 - House Show
Vlad Hammer picks up an upset victory over Vanity after going to the top rope for deathjumps 5 moves in a row. Vanity is visibly upset after the match.
Matador of M83 uses the BULLWHIP to beat Renegade but not until the angry Vanity attacks Renegade after it looked Renegade had the victory in hand. A surprise to most that no disqualification was called for.
Bomb Squad loses a decent match to the Royal Creeps after Mad Jester hits Commander Sam with the JAGGED EDGE. Killer Queen is able to distract Earthquake while the 3 count took place.
The woes of Cosmic Forces continue as they lose via disqualification to the Norse Gods. Matter and Antimatter both looked much better in this match but couldn't seal it. Doomsayer was overheard saying he plans to give his team some time off to regroup.
In the main event, GWF Hardcore Champion Bishop Hell retained his title over Pulsar in a relatively clean match for a feud that has revolved around the Hardcore belt for years.
Card 133 - House Show
In the opener, Awesome Studs get some revenge in a win over the Barbarians. After the match, Vanity and Mr. Galaxy attack Renegade as Terak is distracted by Sweet Thing. Renegade is out for a month and a half as a result.
A rare outburst by Lance At-Las outside the ring cost him this match as the Serpent Unman is victorious by disqualification. No one is certain what caused At-Las to lose his cool but the chair shot caused him to lose the match.
Lord Nexus defeats Splatter after a TITAN DROP. As Nexus celebrates his first singles victory of 2091, Whiplash and Splatter attack him putting him out for about a month and half. The villains have notched up the aggression tonight.
Prison Camp continues their losing streak when Galactic Punisher pinned Tongsoon. The GalactiCops take their second win.
In the main event, GWF Interplanetary Champion Wolf defends his title successfully against Krakan winning with a Wolf Skullcrusher. Thantos watched the match from the entrance ramp and nodded in disapproval at its conclusion.
Card 134 - House Show
Mutant picks up a disqualification win over Creeper when the brawl goes outside the ring.
NightStalkers defeat the Young Allies as Bounty Hunter never tags Serpent Unman and fights off both Adam Blast and Vlad Hammer to get his team the win.
Exo-King drops his second straight to his rival Massif after a VOLCANIC DROP finishes the match. King put up much more of a fight in this match but Massif appears to have his number.
Mayhem is disqualified as he loses his cool outside the ring and bounces Lance At-Las off every guard rail and ring step in the building. Lance At-Las was observed by medical personnel after the onslaught but appears to be uninjured.
The main event of the show was to determine the number one contenders for the Tag Titles. Actagon fought back but it was only token resistance to Iron Mane who finished him early with FINAL POUNCE. The Beasts of Burden defeat the Greek Gods and remain undefeated.
Coming on the second GWF Battleground
Vlad Hammer looks to continue winning in singles action as he takes on Ghengis Khan.
A mystery opponent has challenged Death Masque stating that the Assassins must answer for their attacks on the Titans.
Terak looks for revenge against Mr. Galaxy for the assault on Renegade.
A feud from yesteryear gets another spark as Comrade Terror and Commander Sam will meet in a No Disqualification match.
The main event for the evening will feature the Gladiators defending their Tag Team Titles from the red hot Beasts of Burden. Will the AniMen stay undefeated or can the Aethrans put another notch in their belt?
All that and more on the next Battleground.
Another handful of solid cards. A very dark day on Card 133 with two original heroes getting attacked by their rivals on the same card. The Titans are very shorthanded and Trainer Jim is understandably holding Billy Jo Boxer out of situations where he might get targeted. Should be a heck of a main event between an undefeated AniMen tag team and the Gladiators who have held the belts for what amounts to a year and eight months. I'll have to look into the house rules. I'm a well-documented purist but after seeing that I may have been wrong on color wrestler cards, I'm a bit more open these days.

Card 135 - GWF Battleground
Vlad Hammer Vs. Ghengis Khan The matches start with the young Russian getting covered early but kicking out and defeating his Mongolian rival with a Glasnost Smash. Winner: Vlad Hammer by Pin
Death Masque Vs. Mystery Opponent Darkos leads Death Masque down to the ring as they await the opponent. After a few moments of anticipation, Omega's music hits and the former superstar looks ready to go in his wrestling gear. As he enters the ring, Darkos laughs into the announcer's microphone and leaves the ringside area. It proves costly as Death Masque is disqualified for using MELTDOWN and loses the match. Winner: Omega via DQ
A cameraman finds Darkos trashing the backstage area after the humiliation just suffered. Doomsayer hovers up cackling and tells Darkos his team is the laughingstock of the GWF. Darkos points out the struggles of Doomsayer's "marquee" team, Cosmic Forces. Doomsayer claims they would crush the Assassins tag team. Darkos says let's find out now confidently.
Nightmare Vs. Cosmic Forces It doesn't take long for Darkos to eat his words again as a POSITIVE CHARGE from Matter ends the match for Splatter and Nightmare. Winner: Cosmic Forces by Pin
We see Terak stretching for his match which is coming next.
Amazonia is in the AniMen locker room hyping up her team. Ram faces a big challenge from Matador and the tag team of Iron Mane and Badger have a chance to win the Tag titles tonight.
Terak Vs. Mr. Galaxy The anger pent up in Terak is clear as he tries to embarass Mr. Galaxy with a quick match but Terak falters and is pinned after Mr. Galaxy hits a few MUSCLE RIPPERs. Winner: Mr. Galaxy by pin.
GalactiCops Vs. Royal Creeps In a great back and forth match, Jester puts the early hurt on Punisher before Justice comes in and forces the tag to Queen. Queen can't make the tag out and the GalactiCops keep him cornered until a VERDICT ends the match. Winner: GalactiCops via pin
Matador of M83 Vs. Battering Ram The early goings saw Matador take an early advantage over Ram but it changed quickly. Ram threw Matador out of the ring and the sneaky Guile came to ringside. He proceeded to throw a chair at Ram who caught it but Matador sold the ref that it was used on him and the bell was rung. Winner: Matador by DQ
The skiddish intern is back and puts a microphone in front of Comrade Terror.
Terror: "America. Earth. The same scum who chose to police the galaxy and try to make my home out to be some evil planet trying to destroy everything. I couldn't change the outcome of the war but I will have some revenge in beating a man who embodies Earth's misguided beliefs in the ring. Sam, I'm going to make an example of you tonight."
Comrade Terror Vs. Commander Sam - No Disqualifications Sam put up a fight but it was Terror making good on his promise defeating his former rival with an ATOMIC WARHEAD. Terror celebrated his victory much to the chagrin of the fans in attendance. Winner: Comrade Terror by Pin
MAIN EVENT - GWF Tag Team Championship - Gladiators (c) Vs. Beasts of Burden Massacre started against Badger and forced a defensive tag to Iron Mane. The Lion kept Massacre at bay and Brute was tagged in as Massacre struggled. The Gladiators maintained good teamwork throughout but Iron Mane proved too strong. Badger stopped Massacre and Guardsman's halfhearted attempt to distract the ref meant new tag champs. Winner: Beasts of Burden by pin
Another good TV production for the GWF. Iron Mane singlehandedly takes down the most accomplished tag team in history. The loss ends the Gladiators record 49 card (over 18 months) title reign. The GalactiCops might be on the receiving end of some Aethran anger soon. The dice rewarded me in the undercard with the outcome of both Assassin matches leading to a flowing story for some of the otherwise "filler" matches. Next post will feature 4 more house shows and the tease for the next Battleground (featuring a GWF Championship defense). Half way to the arrival of Chaos; things will definitely keep heating up. Thanks for reading.

Not a good night at all for Darkos! Shocking win for Hammer over Khan in singles action. I got my eyes set on the Gladiators regaining those tag straps soon.

Some more house cards in the books:
Card 136 - House Show
Whiplash defeats Billy Jo Boxer with the Headsmen Guillotine. Trainer Jim jumps in the ring after the match to defend his only healthy Titan.
Prison Camp wins over their rival Norse Gods via a SMOTHERING on Man Mountain.
Comrade Terror's words on Battleground must have struck a chord with Lance At-Las as we see a MARTIAN MANHANDLER hit and At-Las escapes the Cosmic Cage to defeat Terror.
Massacre pins the Galactic Punisher after THE CLEANSING and the Gladiators bounce back after dropping the tag titles.
In the main event, Bishop Hell lands a HELLFIRE on Mesmer after some outside help from Count Necros to retain his GWF Hardcore Championship.
Card 137 - House Show
Young Allies fall short as Ghengis Khan uses TWIN THRUST to finish Adam Blast.
Commander Sam uses the Peacemaker Slingshot to get the pinfall on Mr. Galaxy as the Bomb Squad defeats the Awesome Studs.
Killer Queen gets too aggressive on the outside of the ring and is disqualified in his match against Pulsar.
Mayhem exacts some revenge for his Gladiator teammates as he defeats Iron Mane with the LEAP OF DOOM. (I've now seen a +6 LEAP OF DOOM get kicked out of twice in two days.)
In the main event to determine the number one contender for the GWF Heavyweight Championship, Spike ends the match arguing with the referee after he is disqualified on the outside of the ring against Thantos.
Card 138 - House Show
Renegade makes his return from injury a success as he defeats Vanity with SPINECRACKER. He even goes a step further as The Creeper comes out after the match and the two injure Vanity for 4 cards.
Pit Viper is unable to make his return a success as he loses via countout to Death Masque.
Lord Nexus is also back in action as TitanPower gets the win by disqualification over Nightmare on the outside of the ring. Splatter decided to go for his club while battling Nexus on the floor.
Bomb Squad becomes the latest spped bump as the Gladiators use DECAPITATOR on Sam to get another win.
In the main event, GWF Interplanetary Champion Wolf retains his title over Mayhem when Mayhem is disqualified outside the ring. Mayhem threw Wolf through the steel barricades at ringside and could be heard yelling about how meaningless the title is as long as he inflicts pain.
Card 139 - House Show
Tongsoon gets a small wish to battle in singles competition and makes good on it as he defeats Adam Blast with BATTLE CRY.
A good back and forth battle between the Barbarians and the Royal Creeps ends when Mad Jester catches Renegade with the JAGGED EDGE.
In a huge upset in the tag ranks, Bounty Hunter singlehandedly gets the win over Proteus and the NightStalkers defeat the Greek Gods after Hunter hits a splash off the top turnbuckle. Unman contributes by stopping the pin save from Actagon.
Lord Nexus is unable to defeat his lifelong rival as Krakan hits the HITMAN'S CARD and gets the pinfall victory.
The main event is a No Disqualification match between Massif and Count Necros which results in another upset as Necros uses PHANTOM DUST to get the win on Massif.
Coming next on card 140 - Battleground
Star Warrior looks to overcome another challenge from Thantos for the Heavyweight Title.
Two promising newcomers, Matador of M83 and Lance At-Las square off to see which is the unofficial rookie of the year.
Cosmic Forces looks to right their fortune with a match against the GalactiCops.
Exo-King does battle with fellow big man, Earthquake.
Prison Camp and Norse Gods write another chapter in their rivalry.
Pit Viper looks for some revenge for his previous injury as he takes on Splatter.
The Studs Vs. Space Croppers feud continues with Mutant and Creeper facing off in the squared circle.
Some interesting upsets throwing some plans off course but we're all used to succumbing to the will of the dice. Spike looked to be making his march to the GWF Title but the referee (aka the dice) decided it wasn't his time yet. Really excited to see how things shake out on Battleground especially the GWF title match and the Matador - At-Las match. Posting will slow down a bit for a few days thanks to the real world but I shall return. Thanks all for reading.

Ahhhhh. I've fallen behind. I've rolled the dice out to the completion of the next battleground but haven't found the time to post.
The big time sink has been trying to catch my original fed up to 2127 from 2122. I got a lot of dice to roll coming up.
I'll post some results tonight.

Card 140 - BATTLEGROUND
The opening bout is ready to go as we come on the air.
Mutant Vs. The Creeper A very hotly contested fight in the opener tonight as both competitors beat the tar out of each other and the bloods flows (5 fatigue tokens for Mutant, 3 for Creeper). Creeper ends the match with a piledriver for the 3 count. Winner: The Creeper by pinfall.
Doomsayer is pep talking his tag teams but it can be deciphered that he is putting the emphasis on Cosmic Forces to get out of their current struggles.
Splatter Vs. Pit Viper Splatter makes a rare appearance without Whiplash in 2091 but cannot over come the masked Titan. Viper hits VENOM BLAST and picks up the win. Winner: Pit Viper by pin.
A short video showing the history of the Thantos-Star Warrior feud runs. It details how Thantos broke the code and repeatedly taunted Warrior in 2087 by giving Omega title shots and crushing the aging star. Fast forward to 2090 and it's all Star Warrior. The pressure is on Thantos to stop the trend.
Prison Camp Vs. Norse Gods The Norse Gods use quick tags to keep the Rebel team off balance. But eventually Man Mountain is trapped on the wrong side of the ring by Tendron and THE SMOTHERING makes Prison Camp the winner. Winner: Prison Camp by submission
The Matador of M83 is standing in the back. He speaks:
"Lance At-Las, you also are a rising star in the GWF. But unlike me you cannot call yourself the best newcomer. I will back up these words tonight in the middle of the ring and after they raise my hand everyone will know where the future of the GWF is headed."
Exo-King Vs. Earthquake Exo-King uses his superior singles knowledge on the FDF big man for the majority of the match. Earthquake will not seem to go down long enough for the match to end though. King gets frustrated and uses a chair outside the ring. The ref calls it. Winner: Earthquake by disqualification
GalactiCops Vs. Cosmic Forces A good early showing by Matter makes all in attendance believe the Forces might be changing their luck. However, Justice fights back and forces a tag to Antimatter. He is quickly overwhelmed and Justice hits SHOCK PROBATION. Matter comes flying in the ring and Justice attacks him. Punisher enters and Antimatter recovers. It's a slobberknocker the ref can't control. Winner: None - Double Disqualification
Thantos addresses the audience.
Tonight, I will prove my dominance over this federation and take my title back from all those who have worn it falsely. I am the GameMaster and all the others are just pawns in my game.
Matador of M83 Vs. Lance At-Las A great back and forth battle here as Lance At-Las hits the MARTIAN MANHANDLER only to see the Matador kick out and recover. It's not long after that Matador hits with BULLWHIP and takes the win. Winner: Matador of M83 by pin
Main Event - GWF Heavyweight Championship Star Warrior (c) Vs. Thantos Thantos starts with the lead early looking to recapture the title but it's short lived as Star Warrior comes climbing back. It isn't long until he hits COSMIC BIG BANG in the center of the ring. Krakan runs out and has no way to involve himself but climb in the ring and attack Warrior. The ref rings the bell. Warrior is knocked out of the ring as Thantos recovers. He realizes the outcome and he and Krakan argue to conclude the show. Winner: Star Warrior by disqualification
My take: Thantos denied by Warrior again. It seems Warrior just has his number. As I'm in the final push to 2092, I think we'll see Matador and Spike battle for the top contender and I'll have to find another place for Thantos to get involved. Hoping this card is also the first sign of a more aggressive Cosmic Forces. I'll be posting the next wave of house cards soon as I'm already through the next BATTLEGROUND, just been too busy to post.
