(Note: Moving this thread over from the unofficial boards. My GWWF is made up mostly of official CotG characters, although it does contain a few bootlegs created by me and by other promoters. The following article is from the end of the year 2110.)
NEW COMMISSIONER INTRODUCED AT GWWF AWARDS BANQUET The eighth annual GWWF Achievement Awards Banquet was held at the Triton Municipal Auditorium of Neptune on December 14, 2110. In attendance was the federation’s entire roster of active wrestlers , as well as GWF Commissioner Morpheus, former GWF Commissioner Omega, former GWWF Commissioners Torin Caelum and Reynard B. Guile, USWF Commissioner Grogan, Max Shield, Wolf, Blade, Johnny Rocket, Paragon, Lance At-Las, and various other GWF personalities, as well as a few of the female wrestlers from the USWF.
“Welcome, everyone, to our annual celebration,” Carter began. “I am happy to be here to honor our accomplishments for 2110. And as you all know, this will be my final year as GWWF commissioner, so we have a very special announcement to make this evening.
“Before we make that announcement, we are happy to present this year’s achievement awards. We had a great year in many ways, with some terrific performances. But the award decisions this year were pretty clear-cut, and I am sure that the winners are no surprise to anyone.”
Carter then presented the following awards:
Wrestler of the Year: Hunger Hunger wins this award for the second straight year. Although her overall record was only 10-7 in 2110, she managed to hold the GWWF championship for the entire year, so no one could reasonably debate her claim to the award. Runners-up: 1. Amazonia (a 15-7 record and hounded Hunger all year, but could not quite manage to take the title away. Also won the Queen’s Challenge Singles Tournament for the first time); 2. Sniper (a fine 12-8 record and nearly took the title from Hunger at the year’s end).
Tag Team of the Year: The Hellions Once again an easy decision, since the Hellions have held the rarely-defended tag team championship since December 2109. Their overall record of 8-3 was also the best in the federation. Runners-up: 1. Feminine Fury (an 8-5 overall record); 2. Divinity (only an 8-8 record, but won the Queen’s Challenge Tag Team Tournament).
“I have served as GWWF commissioner for five years, and it has been a wonderful experience," Carter stated after the award presentation. “Now, in my final act in this position, I have the pleasure of introducing the new commissioner of the GWWF.
“As you all know, the GWWF is managed by the same executive committee that oversees the GWF. The choice of who should be the new commissioner was therefore in the hands of the executive committee. However, I was asked to make a recommendation regarding the position. I consulted with GWF Commissioner Morpheus, former GWF Commissioner Omega, USWF Commissioner Grogan, and former GWWF Commissioners Caelum and Guile. Our preference for the position was unanimous. In fact, in our view, there is really only one person for the job.
“Many of you know this person. Our new commissioner worked as an executive assistant in the GWWF under Commissioners Caelum and Guile as well as myself, so she is very familiar with the workings of and the issues facing the federation. Moreover, it is time that our women’s federation had a woman as its commissioner. I therefore am very happy to present the new commissioner of the GWWF; Sandrisa Tralington.”
As the audience applauded, a slender, dark-skinned woman stepped out onto the stage. Most of the members of the audience were familiar with Ms. Tralington, who had earned a reputation as a quiet but talented administrator while working under the previous commissioners in the GWWF office.
“I was to thank the GWF Executive Committee for this opportunity,” the new commissioner said. “I will keep my comments brief today. We all know the threats that are facing not just the GWWF, but all of wrestling. The danger presented by UFSP President Cordanus is very real. However, I am currently working on some arrangements that will help to secure our future.
“First, I am officially reactivating the tag team division which was placed on hold by Commissioner Carter in October. The belts currently held by the Hellions will again be eligible for competition beginning in 2111.
“Second, we are going to present more independent cards next year. We will still continue to present matches on GWF cards, but we will also offer a total of six of our own events, up from three this year.
“Finally, and most importantly, I am currently in negotiations with USWF Commissioner Grogan to establish a stronger connection between our two women’s divisions. I do not want to say too much now, but by January I hope to be able to make an announcement that will benefit not only the GWWF, but the women who wrestle in the USWF as well.”
As Commissioner Tralington finished her remarks, a buzz of conversation and speculation filled the room. The new leadership for the GWWF had clearly taken control, and the once bleak future of women’s wrestling appeared to have more hope than expected.
Note: Sandrisa Tralington is my own creation.

COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCES UNIFICATION PLAN The eighth annual GWWF year-opening press conference took place on January 23, 2111 in the Deimos Intergalactic Arena Media Center. The entire roster of GWWF was present, as were the women who currently wrestle in the USWF and USWF Commissioner Grogan. Former tag team champions Leather and Lace, who had left the GWWF in late 2110, also attended.
“This is a very exciting moment,” Commissioner Tralington began. “I am pleased to announce that USWF Commissioner Grogan and I have reached an agreement, and that USWF majority owner Magnus Colby and the GWF Executive Committee have blessed it. Effective immediately, we are unifying the GWWF and the USWF Women’s division under the name of the GWWF.
“The USWF will no longer maintain a separate title or separate rankings. All female wrestlers employed by the GWWF and by the USWF will be eligible to wrestle each other on GWF, USWF, and GWWF cards and will be eligible to challenge for titles.
“In the near future we will hold a unification match between Shadow, the current USWF champion, and the winner of he upcoming match between GWWF Champion Hunger and her top challenger Anaxis. The winner of that unification match will be recognized as the GWWF champion.
“We also plan to establish a secondary singles title this year. To maintain consistency with the GWF’s interplanetary and the USWF’s interstellar titles, this new belt will be called the intercosmos title. We will publish more information on this new title when it is finalized.
“We welcome all of the members of the USWF’s women’s division to the GWWF, and we look forward to a profitable working relationship.”
HUNGER WINS TITLE UNIFICATION MATCH Hunger held on to the GWWF championship and unified the title with the USWF belt by defeating Shadow on the GWWF’s first independent card of 2111 at Miranda Center on February 27.
In order to ensure a clear-cut winner, Commissioner Tralington ordered that the unification match be fought under no disqualification rules. The stipulation worked in Hunger’s favor, as she caught Shadow with her illegal Abdominal Hunger finisher to win the contest after just one minute and twenty-one seconds. The USWF title will now be retired.
The complete card at the Miranda Center went as follows:
(Note: I will mark my own creations and bootleg wrestlers from other promoters with an asterisk.)
*Rose over Maxine Time: 4:15 Rose won a good match with a Rose Petal Suplex
Serpentine over Nora Pelf Time: 5:20 Serpentine with a Brymstone Bludgeon for the win
Feminine Fury over the Enchantresses Time: 10:36 Feminine Fury renewed their old feud with the newly reformed Enchantresses and won an outstanding back-and-forth match when Supernova pinned Cassandra with a Tomahawk Thrust

Phantasy and *Kailani were injured and did not participate on the card.

AMAZONIA TAKES GWWF TITLE FROM HUNGER The GWWF presented its second independent card of 2111 on April 19 at the Denebola Spiral Arm Stadium. Commissioner Tralington decreed that the federation would take the opportunity of this card to hold a tournament that would crown the new intercosmos champion, the GWWF’s secondary singles belt. In addition, Amazonia requested and was granted a title match against GWWF Champion Hunger.
(Note: Bootleg wrestlers will be marked with an asterisk on first reference.)
Intercosmos Title Tournament Round One: *Shadow over Serpentine Time: 5:32 A much tougher match than expected.
*Kailani over *Dream Lover Time: 1:51
Supernova over Cassandra Time: 1:16
Taechon over Anaxis Time: 4:44 Anaxis repeatedly tried to win by countout but came up short in the end.

Phantasy over Thrash Time: 2:07 Another "Sweet Suicide" gets Phantasy the win.
Intercosmos Tournament Final Phantasy over Kailani Time: 2:55 In an incredibly high-flying match between two agile competitors, Phantasy finally took down Kailani with the “Sweet Suicide” to become the first intercosmos champion.
GWWF Championship Match Amazonia over Hunger (c) Time: 0:36 Right out of the gate, Amazonia blasted Hunger with an "Amazon Attack" and followed immediately with a “Running Sabre" for the pin and the title. The match was over before Hunger even realized what happened.
Hunger’s title reign ended after a very impressive nineteen months and twenty-eight days and featured twenty title defenses. Only Amazonia’s record reign of twenty-six defenses over twenty months and thirteen days (12/21/01 to 08/03/03) has been longer. Amazonia became the women’s champion for the fifth time in her career.

KAILANI BEATS AMAZONIA FOR GWWF TITLEKailani made good the title shot she earned by winning the Queen’s Challenge, defeating Amazonia to claim the GWWF championship on September 7 at Polaris Interstellar Stadium. The title contest was a terrific nine minute match that went back and forth numerous times. The matchup was fought under no-disqualification rules, as Amazonia had been disqualified against Kailani in a previous match a week earlier. This time the two battled without restraint, taking the fight all over the ring and the arena. Both were badly battered when Kailani finally hit the “Island Isolator” for the win. Kailani, a two-time USWF Women’s Champion, won the GWWF title for the first time. Amazionia’s most recent title reign lasted for nearly five months. HELLIONS REGAIN GWWF TAG BELTS The Hellions became two-time GWWF tag team champions with a victory over Leather and Lace at the Dragon’s Lair on September 24. The Hellions took an early advantage in the match and never let up. Hunger started the match against Leather and quickly took her opponent off of her feet. Shortly thereafter Serpentine tagged in and continued the assault. Leather managed to fight through several pin attempts, but in the end Hunger’s “Abdominal Hunger” finisher was too much for her. Lace never managed to tag into the match. Leather and Lace’s fifth and most recent title reign lasted for just over three months, since they had taken the belts from the Hellions on June 8. ROSE LEAVES THE GWWFRose, who entered the GWWF in 2110, announced on September 26 that she was leaving the federation. “I have enjoyed my time here,” Rose said in a prepared statement. “I appreciate the opportunities I have been given. I’ve simply decided that wrestling is not what I wish to do with my life. I thank the fans for their support, and I wish everyone connected with the GWWF every success.” Rose’s departure comes as a surprise, as she had shown marked improvement in her second year. Her record for 2110 was only 6-10, but in 2111 she was 9-7. Three of her wins this year had come against Anaxis, who had been very frustrated in a low-profile feud with the young woman. (Note: For anyone who is curious, below is the artwork for Kailani. I just posted her stats in the fan-made cards section. TAG TITLES CHANGE HANDS AT EVENT HORIZON The GWWF held its fifth independently promoted card of 2111 at the Event Horizon of Antila on October 15. All of the federation's titles were on the line at the card. Results were as follows:
Ms. Liberty over Nora Pelf Time: 1:52 Ms. Liberty won easily with the “Liberator”
Phantasy over Dream Lover Time: 2:37 This was a good back and forth match, won by Phantasy with the “Sweet Suicide.”
Leather and Lace over the Enchantresses by disqualification Time: 2:58 Cassandra was disqualified in a brawl outside the ring with Leather.
Intercosmos Championship: Supernova (c) over Sniper Time: 3:04 Good effort by Sniper, but Supernova retained her title with a “Supernova Scissors flip."
During the Intercosmos Title Match, an unidentified woman appeared at the rear of the first tier of the Event Horizon to watch the contest. The woman was slender, wore a long black cloak, and had long, straight reddish hair with silver streaks. Her facial features were concealed by a mask. No one associated with the GWWF expressed any knowledge of who she might be.
Titan Hardcore Match: Voodoo Queen over Amazonia Time: 3:17 Voodoo Queen pulled off a major upset, knocking down Amazonia outside the ring and then hitting her with a “Queen’s Curse” for the win.
The mysterious masked woman remained at the back of the audience for the hardcore match. She again made no effort to become involved in the action. At the conclusion of this match, she drifted back into the shadows.
GWWF Tag Team Championship Match: Velar and Sabre over the Hellions (c) Time: 12:34 In a terrific, hard-hitting contest, Velar and Sabre stunned the champions with an upset win. The match went back and forth many times, with neither team able to hold an advantage for long. Finally Hunger, thinking that she at last had Velar injured, went for and missed a deathjump, and Velar followed with a quick rollup for the pin. The Hellions thus lost the tag belts in their first defense. Velar and Sabre both became champions for the first time.
GWWF Championship Match: Kailani (c) over Thrash by disqualification Time: 3:29 This was a good match as long as it lasted, but Thrash lost her patience outside the ring and was disqualified, allowing Kailani to retain her title.
The masked woman returned to her position at the back of the crowd for the main event. At several points she seemed to make a move toward the ring, but each time she stopped herself. At the end of the contest, she again disappeared into the shadows.

NEW CHAMPION CROWNED AT FINAL CARD OF 2111The GWWF held its final independent card of 2111 on December 1 at the Umbriel Sky Dome of Uranus. By the end of the evening the federation had both a new champion and apparently a new challenger. Results of the card were as follows: Nora Pelf over MaxineTime: 1:49 Nora Pelf, who has had a surprisingly successful year with a 7-10 overall record, had no trouble in this match as she pinned Maxine with a deathjump. Ms. Liberty over Voodoo QueenTime: 1:46 Liberty scored the upset in this match with a “Liberty Leap.” Arcana over the EnchantressesTime: 3:15 In the most recent of a series of tough matches between these two teams, Sniper pinned Anaxis with a “Target Practice.” Thrash over Dream LoverTime: 3:14 The Aethran star hammered Amazonia’s estranged half-sister with a “Femme Fatal.” Sabre over Amazonia by disqualificationTime: 2:39 Amazonia was disqualified for using her “Warrior’s Shield” finisher. During this match the mysterious woman who was seen at the last GWWF card in October once again appeared at the back of the audience. The slender woman again wore a mask and a black cloak while letting her long reddish hair with silver streaks spill over her shoulders. This time, however, the strange observer was not alone: beside her in the shadows of the Sky Dome stood GWF wrestler Necros, formerly Count Necros, who had returned to the wrestling ring some months earlier after a sixteen year absence. At the conclusion of the match, the masked woman and Necros both disappeared back into the shadows. Leather and Lace over the Hellions by disqualificationTime: 11:23 A tough back and forth match ended when Hunger was disqualified in a brawl on the arena floor. However, the fight continued after the bell, and eventually the Hellions beat both Leather and Lace into submission. Then Hunger took a ringside microphone. “Things are gonna change around here,” the Brymstone wrestler stated. “Me and Serpentine had the tag belts stolen from us. I been held back from another shot the GWWF title I had for so long. The commissioner wants to get rid of us, but it ain’t gonna work. Look at these two tramps in the ring we just beat down. This is the way it’s gonna be. If we don’t get treated fair, we’re just gonna hurt people till we get what we want.” Intercosmos Title Match: Supernova (c) over PhantasyTime: 2:36 The champion had little trouble in defeating Phantasy, scoring the win with a “Speed of Light.” This was Supernova's sixth successful defense since winning the title from Phantasy in June. During the match, the masked woman and Necros again appeared at the back of the crowd and watched from the shadows. GWWF Title Match: Velar over Kailani (c)Time: 4:46 Velar, already one half of the tag team champions with Sabre, won the GWWF Championship for the first time with an upset win over Kailani. The match was a tough one, but Velar took control after the first two minutes and then beat the champion down, finally scoring the win with a devastating “Hammerlock Slam.” As Velar celebrated her victory, the masked woman and Necros finally made their way to ringside. The mysterious stranger climbed into the ring and ambushed the new champion from behind. Then, with a microphone in hand, she grabbed the stunned Velar by the hair and snarled, “Your time is about to be over. I am here now, and I will take out all of you weak excuses for wrestlers—you, Supernova, Amazonia, Kailani, and whoever else gets in my way.” Then the woman removed her mask. One might have described her as beautiful, though the pale, green-tinged shade of her skin did not make her more attractive. As she stood over the fallen champion, she smiled evilly, revealing a set of shining white teeth that featured pronounced fangs on either side of her mouth. As a smiling Necros looked on, the strange woman threw back her head and shouted, “I am Blood Rose, and nothing will stop me from dominating this federation.” The woman then dropped the microphone and left the ring area with Necros. Attempts to locate either of them for an interview after the card were unsuccessful. ( Note: Blood Rose is a creation of Kevin Knipe and Keith Vella and is featured in the KrazyKards Unleaded One set. Here is the link to her picture and Bio: www.krazykards.com/profile_21.php )

BIG SURPRISE AT YEAR-END BANQUETThe GWWF held its ninth annual year-end awards banquet at the Triton Municipal Auditorium of Neptune on December 15, 2111. Sandrisa Tralington completed her first year as GWWF Commissioner by presiding over the festivities. All active GWWF wrestlers attended the event. Guests included GWF Commissioner Morpheus, USWF Commissioner Grogan, Wolf, Pegasus, Commander Sam, Lord Nexus, Paragon, Ursa Major, the Incredible Badger, the Troubleshooters, and others. The evening began smoothly. After an elegant dinner and some opening remarks, Commissioner Tralington presented the follosing awards: Wrestler of the Year: KailaniNo one wrestler dominated the GWWF in 2111, but Kailani had a terrific 19-5 overall record, won the annual Queen’s Challenge Tournament, and held the GWWF Championship from September to December. Runners-up: 1. Hunger (an excellent 12-3 record, but all of her losses were in big matches. Began the year as champion and held the title until April); 2. Supernova (Record of 14-9, has held the new Intercosmos Title since June). Tag Team of the Year: The HellionsWinners of this award for the second straight year, the Hellions had a 10-7 record and held the titles for the first six months of the year, then regained them briefly in September. They also won the Queen’s Challenge Tag Team Tournament. Runners-up: 1. Leather and Lace (A 12-8 record and held the tag team belts from June to September); 2. Velar and Sabre (started slow and thus ended with a record of only 8-9, but heated up at the end and have held the tag team titles since October). When the award presentations were finished, the Commissioner continued. “I also want to present the newest member of the GWWF, a woman who will begin competing in 2112. You all saw her at the end of our last card. Here, along with her advisor Necros, is Blood Rose.” An uncomfortable murmur ran through the audience as the young woman who had attacked new GWWF Champion Velar at the end of the last card walked out onto the stage, accompanied by GWF star Necros. Necros took the microphone. “Let me give you a little more information,” the long-time GWF wrestler began. “Blood Rose is from Preplanus, Draco, like myself. I saw her last year competing in local events on our home world, and I knew she could be a champion. She is now ready to come in and, with my guidance, dominate the GWWF. What happened to Velar was just a message. It was nothing personal against Velar. You will all be made to submit to Blood Rose.” Suddenly an offstage voice interrupted Necros. “All these years, and you ain’t changed much,” said the familiar voice. “Still all wind. You were a loser when we banished you, and you’re a loser now." To the surprise of everyone in the audience, Bishop Hell walked out onto the stage. Accompanying him was an attractive young woman, somewhat shorter and slightly stockier than the tall, slender Blood Rose. “You dare to interrupt me?” Necros snapped. “You , of all people? You, who had me banished. But you’ve gotten older. You’re no match for me now.” “Relax,” the Bishop said. “Somebody had to stop you. This is supposed to be a celebration, and you were putting us all to sleep. But I’m just here to deliver two messages. First, what you did to Velar at the last GWWF card is gonna have consequences. You and your tramp here ain't going to dominate anything.” Necros sneered. “Really? And what is the second message?” “This,” the Bishop smiled. With a quick flash of his arm he threw a "Hellfire" in the face of Necros. The victim fell to the stage, writing in pain. Blood Rose screamed and started forward to defend her advisor, but the young woman who had walked out onto the stage with the Bishop drew back her arm and then stunned the audience by throwing a "Hellfire" of her own in the face of Blood Rose. Still smiling, Bishop Hell stamped forward to stand over the two fallen victims. “Allow me to introduce the other new member of the GWWF for 2112: my granddaughter, whose name, ironically, is also Rose—Rose Caldarian. She’s gonna be the one to dominate. You two vampires, or whatever you are, just got a taste of what's in store.” Commissioner Tralington then stepped forward and took the microphone from Bishop Hell. “I think we’ve all seen enough,” she said. “Blood Rose, let this be a warning to you. I will not permit attacks like the one you perpetrated on Velar. You are under contract to us now, so you will play by my rules or there will be serious action taken. I hope you understand, because this is the only warning you will get.” Later that evening, the commissioner commented further on the situation. “It was not comfortable for me to align myself with Bishop Hell, even for one night,” she said. “We all know what he is. But he volunteered to help, and I needed to send a message to Blood Rose. As for Rose Caldarian, she is indeed the Bishop’s granddaughter, but she seems to me to be very different from him. From all I have seen so far, she is a very pleasant young woman, and she did not inherit Hell’s sadistic streak, at least not to anything like the same degree. I do not anticipate problems from her. I think we will have an exciting year in 2112.” ( Note: Like Blood Rose, Rose Caldarian is a creation of Kevin Knipe and Keith Vella and is featured in the KrazyKards Series Nine set. Here is the link to her picture and Bio: www.krazykards.com/profile_78.php ) GWWF ALL-TIME VICTORY LEADERS(As of the conclusion of 2111)1. Amazonia (197 wins-117 losses)* 2. Thrash (141-110)* 3. Supernova (126-94)* 4. Anaxis (108-88)* 5. Devil Woman (104-78) 6. Dream Lover (100-113)* 7. Cassandra (98-152)* 8. Ms. Liberty (97-140)* 9T. Lady Pain (93-82) 9T. Voodoo Queen (93-78)* 11. Kailani (82-47)* 12. Rhea (72-53) (Note: Currently active wrestlers are marked with an asterisk. Devil Woman, Dream Lover, Lady Pain, Kailani, and Voodoo Queen are my own bootlegs or those of other promoters.)

MORE NEW ADDITIONS FOR GWWF The GWWF held its year-opening press conference on January 22, 2112 in the Deimos Intergalactic Arena Media Center. The entire roster of GWWF wrestlers was present in the audience. Commissioner Sandrisa Tralington appeared alone on stage.
“First of all, I want to welcome everyone back for another year,” the commissioner began. “We won’t take up much time today, but I do have a few announcements before we start up the action again.
“To begin with, I am happy to say that we have significantly increased the number of independent GWWF cards we will present this year. We will, of course, also continue to present individual matches on both GWF and USWF cards. However, whereas we held just six independent cards last year, we have increased that number to fourteen for this year. These fourteen cards will include our traditional Queen’s Challenge Tournaments in mid-year and our first ever year-ending supercard. The year-end card is as yet unnamed, but it will be held on December 12 at the Precipice Pavilion of Mercury.
“Secondly, I want to announce a few new additions to our roster. You will all remember from the 2111 Awards Banquet that Blood Rose and Rose Caldarian have signed for the upcoming year. In addition, Lorelei, long a manager in the GWF, has also decided to step into the ring. “I also want to announce the formation of several new tag teams. Lorelei will sometimes form a team with Amazonia called the “Amazon Brawlers.” Voodoo Queen and Dream Lover have also formed a partneship called the “Voodoo Dreamers.” Finally, our current tag team champions, Velar and Sabre, have decided to name their team “Women’s Rule.”
“In addition to these teams of familiar wrestlers, we also welcome an entirely new team to the GWWF. The Hellions claimed late last year that they would ‘hurt people until they get what they want.’ Our newest arrivals plan to put an end to these threats--in fact, I recruited them for just that purpose. Their names are Storm Child and Vision. They are twin sisters and tag team specialists, and the name of their team is Synergy. They will be joining us at our first independent card of this year, which will be held ten days from now at the Ishtar Terrace of Venus.
“I believe that concludes my announcements for now. Once again, welcome back, everyone. We will see you all at the Ishtar Terrace.”
