(Note to those who followed me previously, this is intended to be an extension, but with being behind by several game years and being busy with work and various online projects I wanted to take advantage of the 2125 set being another jumping off point)
October 30th, 2124...
The Press Conference begins with Star Warrior at the podium.
Star Warrior: "Thank you for coming. The GWF asked me to make this announcement concerning it's future. As of right now, due to alleged criminal actions by the current Commisioner, the GWF is going on hiatus for the next 60 Days and all champions will be stripped of thier titles. When the GWF returns to action, an announcement will be made on how the vacancies will be filled. Thank you."
Reporter: "What is the condition of Monolith? Will he compete when the GWF returns?"
Star Warrior: "Monolith is severely injured and is expected to be on medical leave indefinately. He's lucky to be alive."
Reporter 2: "Are you the new commissioner?"
Star Warrior: "No, I am not the new Commissioner. Pending an investigation into various accusations, unless otherwise announced, Sly Drury remains the Commissioner. No more questions."
Star Warrior steps away from the podium and leaves through a secure door leaving the galaxy to speculate as to the future of the GWF...
(first card of 2125 coming soon.)

Diemos Perrenial 2125 Day 1 01.01.2125 from Diemos
- Drury Returns - The pyrotechnics go off and immediately, Sly Drury's music hits
Drury enters the ring with the microphone in hand
Sly: "I bet you thought you would be rid of me didn't you?"
The crowd boos and Drury eggs them on.
Sly: "Yes yes, you hate me. Well guess what? You're stuck with me as Commisioner until 2127. That's right, my contract is not up for another 2 years."
Someone throws a cup into the ring.
Sly: "It's going to take more than..."
Hector's voice comes over the arena PA system...
Hector: "Still playing like you are in charge? How can you be in charge of the GWF when you are not even in charge of yourself? You can BEARly keep your valuables safe?"
Sly swallows hard.
SLy: "Cut off his mic!"
Sly looks visibly upset and takes a moment to collect his thoughts.
Sly: "You're not going to throw me off. Not tonight. Tonight folks, this year really, the GWF will be hosting an event called the Infinity Challenge. It starts here tonight. Abroz and Dialectas have games of sport. They will each get a team. 5 singles wrestlers, 2 women, and 2 teams. The teams will be selected randomly from a pre-determined pool of wrestlers. So without further ado, our opening match will be a women's match."
Sly leaves the ring obviously with his mind elsewhere as the ring announcer announces the first match.
- Draft Match (Women 1) - Shann-Ra vs. Rotunda Shann-Ra defeated Rotunda with a COUNTOUT at 17:53 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Shann Ra and Rotunda were the first two draws for the Inifinity Challenge. It seems that the rumored diet that Rotunda is on did nothing to assist in her stamina.
- Draft match (Men 1) - U. S. Male vs. Tricks Tricks defeated U. S. Male with a COULROPHOBIA at 2:13 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Tricks dominated US Male in this Infinity Challenge draft match. US Male did not stand a chance.
- Draft match (Men 2) - Thraxx vs. The Betrayer Thraxx defeated The Betrayer with a throat slam at 44:47 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Dispite an impressive outing by The Betrayer, Thraxx's strength just proved to be too much for the masked man to handle.
- Drury recruits help from the Gladiators - Paralyze enters the Commisioners office.
Paralyze: "Overmaster told me to come see you."
Drury: "You're in the main event."
Paralyze: "Is that it?"
Drury: "When this match is over, I don't ever want to see that stupid bear suite again."
- Draft Team 1 - Cutting Edge vs. Energy Incarnate Nitro defeated Bloodline with a BAD VIBRATIONS at 2:06 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: In the lockerroom, when Bloodline was announced as the first member of the team, Scimitar seemed to have a renewed excitement. As the two met on the ramp, Bloodline extended his hand and the two headed to the ring.
Nitro stood on the ring apron and seemed estatic when Zygon was announced as his partner.
The interesting teaming of Nitro with Zygon pays off when Nitro hits BAD VIBRATIONS on Bloodline and Zygon stops Scimitar cold in his tracks.
- Draft Match, Women 2 - Deadliest vs. She Devil She Devil defeated Deadliest with a CANNONBALL CLOTHESLINE at 27:03 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Once again, She Devil shows why she is one of the top women in fed catching Deadliest, who was the favorite for this match, with her finisher.
- Draft Match Men 3 - Vidtek vs. American Guy Vidtek defeated American Guy with a DQ at 4:11 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: American Guy must have just been out to prove himself to be a threat in this challenge as he pounded an unsuspecting Vidtek into the mat. Due to the rule of no interference, no one came out to help until after the match when Bloodline and Scimitar hit the ring to chase off American Guy and check on Vidtek.
- Draft Match Men 4 - Gryt vs. Oracle Oracle defeated Gryt with an Oracle hits a perfect flying cross-body to the outside! at 36:43 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: A frustrated Oracle threw Gryt out of the ring after a Piledriver and two DIVINATIONS could not keep his shoulders to the mat. A worried Rotunda came out to carry her man to the back while giving former Dark Carnival ally Oracle a mouthful.
- Cutting Edge - Bloodline: "You have the ability. We just need to draw that out. We're partners for this year, and I will do what I can to pull out that inner drive you seem to be holding back."
Scimitar: "Thanks, I appreciate you starting with a clean slate with me."
- Draft Team 2 - Leaders of the Pond vs. Titanium Tristan defeated Plethador with a TITAN POWER at 14:23 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: An outstanding matchup saw Tristan and Mantis with the victory. Perhaps the name given them will prove to be a good omen.
- Draft Match, Men 5 - Tanck vs. Panther Warrior Tanck defeated Panther Warrior with a TANCKED at 3:53 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: After a promising start from Panther Warrior, Tanck stopped him in his tracks and just destroyed his opposition.
- Main Event - Paralyze vs. Hector Hector defeated Paralyze with an I KNOW YOUR SECRET at 43:14 Match Notes: Match of the night as these two were not holding anything back. Hector wore down Paralyze with several Wicked Games and even kicked out of two PERMANTENTLY PARALYZED manuevers before hitting I KNOW YOUR SECRET for the win.
- Show Closing - As Hector tried to get to his feet a Gladiator in white face paint hit the ring and attacked him from behind. Paralyze recovered and the two of them double teamed Hector as the Overmaster watched on from the floor and sent in Rage to add to the assault Swarm, Payback, and someone that looked an aweful lot like Thantos hit the ring and an all out brawl errupted. As it appeared Hector's allies would turn the tide, Overmaster approached the ring but was attacked from behind by Havoc with a chair!
Security and the locker room eventually broke up the brawl leaving Hector and his team outside the ring and The Gladiators staring them down from the ring.
Hector: "Say hello to the Legends of the Ring"!
