Monday Night Massacre
02.16.2088 from Iditarod Igloo
Mesmer vs. Mutant
Mesmer defeated Mutant with a figure-four leg lock at 3:31
Match Notes: A quick one as usual when Mutant is involved. Not a single offensive move was even attempted as Mesmer took the victory easily.
- Backstage with Lord Nexus and Bishop Hell -
All right, that was an interesting match to kick things off! There are a lot of great matches planned tonight. I believe Wolf and Star Warrior are going to battle in what should be an excellent tune up match for Warrior's Heavyweight Title challenge at Galactic Bash. But right now, let's go backstage for some words from Lord Nexus.
LORD NEXUS: You want a shot at the title, but you lost pretty quick last week. I'm not sure if you're deserving of a title. But I'll tell you what. I'll give you the title shot if you and a partner of your choice can beat TitanPower tonight.
BISHOP HELL: Sounds good to me. I don't think Thantos is doing anything tonight. See ya in the ring later tonight wimp.
Pulsar vs. Splatter
Pulsar defeated Splatter with a WHIRLWIND at 7:46
Match Notes: Pulsar with the surprising win in a quick but exciting match. Pulsar showed a lot of resiliency, kicking out twice after Splatter hit him with the Hatchet Job twice.
- Beast-Rider confronts Vanity -
(Beast-Rider runs into Vanity backstage. Vanity is leading the Creeper by a leash.)
BEAST-RIDER: All right Vanity. Enough is enough. Give me back the Creeper. He's all confused. This isn't a safe environment for him.
VANITY: This isn't a safe environment? You had him locked up in a cage! He's much safer with me.
BEAST-RIDER: Don't be ridiculous. The only reason you stole him is to make you look better by comparison.
VANITY: ...Are you hitting on me? Anyway, that's not true although it is a positive side effect. No. The truth is I have liberated this highly intelligent creature. Didn't you see him get the pin in our match last week? Beauty and the Beast are sure to be the next Tag Team Champions.
BEAST-RIDER: Yeah whatever. Let's settle this in the ring right now.
VANITY: Oh I guess so. Creeper! Be sure to protect your master!
Beast-Rider vs. Vanity
Beast-Rider defeated Vanity with a BULLDOG RIDE at 1:09
Match Notes: My goodness did Beast-Rider prove a point here. After the pin Renegade came to ringside and attacked Vanity.
The Space Croppers double teamed Vanity, diving on him with deathjumps from opposite turnbuckles. After they were done they grabbed the Creeper's leash and led him away from the ring. Vanity had to be removed on a stretcher.
- In the ring with Killer Queen -
KILLER QUEEN: Hey your highness. How's it going with those prissy losers you call friends now? Don't they make you sick? I don't think I've ever seen a goofier looking duo than you and Massif. And let me get this straight. Royal Powerhouse? What an awful team name. So what do you say you and that big dumb partner of yours do battle with me and Death Knight later tonight?
(Exo-King appears on the big screen)
EXO-KING: That "big dumb partner" of mine happens to be the former Galaxian Champion. It would behoove you to show a little more respect. In response to your question: yes. The Royal Powerhouse would love to teach you and Death Knight a lesson. We'll see you losers later.
Pit Viper vs. Ghengis Khan
Pit Viper defeated Ghengis Khan with a full-nelson suplex at 8:37
Match Notes: Pit Viper continues his impressive run with a hard-fought defeat of Ghengis Khan.
Royal Powerhouse vs. Killer Queen and Death Knight
Massif defeated Death Knight with a count out after a flying cross-body to the outside at 14:24
Match Notes: The Royal Powerhouse get their first win with a countout win. After hitting Death Knight with a flying cross-body, Exo-King tied up and brawled with Killer Queen to prevent him from helping his partner back into the ring.
- The Gladiators officially demand a shot -
(Brute and Massacre are shown backstage confronting the Greek Gods)
MASSACRE: All right. Me and Brute are back as a tag team. We want a shot at those titles. We deserve it. We are the most powerful tag team this federation has ever seen.
ACTAGON: You deserve nothing. You've just started wrestling together again two weeks ago. There are far more deserving teams right now. The Henchmen have been doing very well lately.
BRUTE: The Henchmen are nothing. We are the Gladiators. We are Aethrans. We are automatically better. It's in our DNA.
ACTAGON: All right then. If you can beat the Henchmen tonight, you get a shot at the title next month.
MASSACRE: No problem. We will crush the Henchmen. No problem.
Incredible Badger vs. Spike
Spike defeated Incredible Badger with a SUPER DESTROYER at 11:22
Match Notes: Incredible Badger's speed wasn't enough to overcome Spike's power. Spike took control late in the match after Badger missed with a running double axe handle. Spike finished him off with two Super Destroyers for the win.
Gladiators of Aethra vs. Henchmen
Brute defeated Comrade Terror with a DQ after a brawl outside the ring at 5:55
Match Notes: The Gladiators earn the title shot at Galactic Bash when the Henchmen were disqualified after a brawl outside the ring.
TitanPower vs. Thantos and Bishop Hell
Lord Nexus defeated Bishop Hell with a karate chop at 5:00
Match Notes: Bishop Hell does not get a shot at the Interplanetary Championship. Bishop Hell looked as if he was not used to tag team wrestling and was never able to tag in Thantos during the entire match. Lord Nexus and Billy Jo Boxer on the other hand showed great teamwork and were able to win quite easily.
Wolf vs. Star Warrior
Star Warrior defeated Wolf with a NOVA LAUNCH at 6:10
Match Notes: Star Warrior got the better of the wild man this time with a relatively quick win. After the match, Warrior helped Wolf up and the two shook hands and walked out of the ring together to a standing ovation from the crowd to close the show.
