I decided to start posting some of my fed results. Some background on me and my GWF fed:
As a teenager in the late '80s/early '90s, I received the original GWF set and the 1st 2 Invasion sets as a birthday gift. Loved it, and played religiously. I stopped playing when I went to college, and the sets ended up getting thrown away (not purposely) during a move. After graduating, I happened to pick up an issue of PWI, came across an ad for the game, remembered enjoying it, and purchased every set available at the time, and have purchased every set since. I had a great fed going (had reached 2101 after starting at 2087), but fell away from it for over 2 years after another move, and I found it difficult picking up from that point, so I scrapped the fed and started over.
In the last couple of years, I've started and restarted a few times, both at 2087 and at 2074 (using the Classics editions and Early Classics). I'm not the most creative person in the world, so I've struggled with keeping a good-sized active roster when beginning with 2074 to avoid having the same matches occur over and over and over. But I think I've finally figured it out:
I'm staying close to the yearly rosters in the EC booklet, with a twist: when wrestlers leave the fed per the EC booklet, I keep them active instead, letting the roster build up to a decent size. I'll eventually retire them as I see fit (and when the roster size won't suffer by doing so). I may even sprinkle some Lost-Found Stars in as well for additional depth/booking. I plan on playing through the Classics years and into the 2087-and-forward GWF as well.
My fed currently holds monthly cards on the 1st of each month. Torin Caelum won the GWF title tournament on Card 2, and Dorado Sundown won the tag title tournament on Card 3. Titles have changed hands a few times - current champs are Santon the Loner and Dorado Sundown.
Card 36 (8/1/2077) was my most recent card. In the main event, Santon the Loner defeated Omega in 26:27 to win the GWF title - this begins his 2nd reign as champ, having previously held the title from 11/1/2075 through 5/1/2076.
