I am thinking that if I go this way, the Bill Watts commissioner card from the Legends of Mid-South set will get used.

Ever since I brought Charlie Cox in as the LWF commissioner, I have had a certain segment of wrestlers (Frank Gotch being the most vocal) rather annoyed at Cox and his efforts to jazz up the fed with new gimmick matches, stipulations, etc...whereas they would rather have good ol' fashioned mano a mano matches.

Watts, then, would wind up launching the "competition", a much more old school fed in feel than the LWF has become under Charlie Cox.

Start with a small roster and then when somebody gets injured or suspended replace them with someone else.

How about a loser leaves town battle royal? The winner gets to stay the others have to leave. WCCW did this a few times

I just broke my off to "tours".
Have your World Champion and 15 other top guys you consider world calibers in your main tour. The other tours would be headlined by one of your other "minor" champions. You can even reward or demote wrestlers between the tours in their performances warrant.


Mine goes like this:
WORLD TOUR (the best of the best-i use a top 14)
HERITAGE TOUR (more Golden Age TV types)
AMERICAS (80s types)
GOLDEN CROWN (Japanese tour)
HARDCORE (ecw type guys)
JUNIORS (Junior heavys)
Hardore tour is on Fridays, Americas tour is Saturdays,World on sundays.The Heritage tour runs on the next friday or saturday , Juniors on saturday/sunday, Golden Crown on sunday/monday.
The 14 tag teams are also broken into world tours and heriage tours .Those are mixed within the weekends.

This is just a thought. Do an unofficial brand split this way it would be more flexible so you could move wrestlers around as you saw fit. More like a grouping than a brand split but it's unannounced and can change when you feel you need to shake things up and it doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

This is the way I'm going to try my future legends for about a month and see how it works. I think it's a way to keep story lines and feuds fresh without making a big deal about it. I decided to do this with my fed so I can run at least 2 unique cards per weekend.

i use the terratory system each weekend i run a terra. broken down by four.North,south,east and west. and have a roaming world champ.if the champ loses his match in a terra. thats where he stays. for example. Bockwinkle is very vocal about being stuck in the south right now its been two months and he cant get a title shot for the belt after he was robbed of his clause in his contract to get a shot at the belt if he loses.there was a loop whole the champion has to be in that terriatory and Harley took off the same night he won that belt to the LWF/West.

I tried to do the territory style with a roving world champ, I couldn't pull it off. If you can I think it's the best way to go.

What I did instead was: I had some guys who were underachieving in the NWA (Curt Hennig, Frank Gotch, Killer Kowalski etc..) split and form the AWA. The AWA roster is a little smaller but not much. At the end of the year I move 6 or so guys from each roster. When new editions come out I split them pretty much evenly. It's now getting to the point, if I don't do it with July's edition it will have to be the next one, of having to make a 3rd federation. I kinda want to do World Class Championship Wrestling but I also think doing a ECW style, no DQ like fed would be a good idea to keep the new fed as a fresh new product.
