Maple Leaf Madness - Night 1: Killer Kowalski vs. Les Thatcher: Killer Kowalski offered his hand to Thatcher at the start of the match. Thatcher shook Kowalski's hand and got a kick to the gut for his troubles. Kowalski unloaded on Thatcher, hitting the bombs away knee drop and quickly locking on the Kowalski Claw. Thatcher made it to the ropes but Kowalski dished out more punishment and hit the bombs away a second time for the win.
Nigel McGuinness vs. Angelo Mosca: Mosca manhandled McGuinness for most of the match. Mosca score near falls with the football tackle and the big nasty elbow. Mosca whipped Nigel to the ropes and Nigel hit the Jawbreaker Lariat out of nowhere for the win.
Davy Richards vs. The Mountie: The Mountie attacked Richards before the bell and quickly hit the Shock Stick for the win.
Eddie Gilbert vs. Dewey Robertson: Gilbert mauled Robertson, hitting the Hotshot and the DDT in the opening minutes of the match. Robertson tried to battle back but Gilbert hit the Hotshot a second time for the win.
Aries & Strong vs. Love Brothers: Arise and Strong isolated Reginald Love and kept him in their corner. Strong hit the Gibson Driver and tagged in Aries. Aries hit the brainbuster for a near fall but Hartford made the save. Strong score a near fall with a side backbreaker and hit the Yakuza Kick for the win.
Ivan Koloff vs. Mad Dog Vachon: Koloff and Mad Dog brawled all over the ring. Koloff scored near falls with the Falling Face Slam, the Russian Bear Hug, and the Russian Chain but Mad Dog kept getting back up. Vachon made a comeback and gnawed on Koloff's forehead, opening a wound. Koloff regained control and hit the falling face slam for the win.
William Muldoon vs. Don Leo Jonathan: DLJ threw Muldoon all over the ring for the first five minutes of the match, scoring near falls with the Giant Swing and the Mormon Swing. Muldoon took the punishment and waited for an opening. Muldoon seized his chance and wore DLJ down with two suplexes and a body lift and throw. Muldoon suplexed Jonathan a third time for the win.
Don Muraco vs. Yukon Eric - RoC Universal Crown: Muraco and Yukon wrestled a competitive match. Yukon Eric thrilled the crowd by staying toe to toe with champion. Muraco scored near falls with the vertcal suplex and the Asiatic Spike but Eric battled back and nearly snatched the title with a bodyblock in the corner. Muraco regained control and hit the Asiatic Spike a second time to retain the gold.

Maple Leaf Madness - Night 2: Mr. Fuji vs. Angelo Mosca: Fuji started strong and took the fight to Mosca. Fuji scored near falls early on with the suplex and the Banzai drop. Mosca made a comeback and knocked Fuji senseless with the football tackle and the Big Nasty Elbow. Fuji regained control when the match spilled out to the floor and threw salt in Mosca's eyes. Fuji hit the Banzai drop a second time for the win.
Nigel McGuiness vs. The Mountie: The Mountie tried to sneak attack McGuinness before the bell like he did Davy Richards the night before but McGuinness was ready. He quickly took The Mountie down and locked on the London Dungeon. The Mountie made it to the ropes but was already favoring his arm. Nigel punished him some more and hit the Tower of London for a near fall. The Mountie kicked out but Nigel went after his arm again, locking on the London Dungeon a second time. The Mountie didn't tap out but was clearly in agony. Nigel whipped The Mountie into the ropes and hit the Jawbreaker Lariat for the win.
Davy Richards vs. Dewey Robertson: Richards made short work of Dewey Robertson, quickly hitting the brainbuster for the win.
William Muldoon vs. Mad Dog Vachon: After a flurry of offense from Vachon, Muldoon dismantled him, wearing him down with two double shoulder locks, a suplex, and the body lift and throw. Vachon tried to mount a comeback but Muldoon shut him down and hit a second body lift and throw for the win.
Danielson & Black vs. Love Brothers: The Love Brothers isolated Tyler Black and kept him in their corner. Hartford hit the neckbreaker for a near fall and tagged in Reginald. Reginald hit atomic drop for a near fall and the Lovev Brothers hit the double slam but Danielson made the save. Hartford hit the Neckbreaker on Black for the win.
Eddie Gilbert vs. Ivan Koloff: Koloff decimated his former manager, scoring a near fall with the top rope knee drop and locking on the Russian Bear Hug for the win.
After the match, Koloff refused to release the hold. Security and police finally made him let Gilbert go but Gilbert had to be stretchered out.
Lou Thesz vs. Don Leo Jonathan: Thesz took the fight to the Mormon Giant at the outset and scored a near fall with the hammerlock. Thesz hit the Greco-Roman Backdrop twice on the Mormon Giant to the delgiht of the crowd but coulnd't keep him down. Thesz whipped the weary giant to the ropes and hit the Thesz Press for the win.
Don Muraco vs. Killer Kowalski - RoC Universal Crown: Muraco and Kowalski stared one another down and talked trash at the opening bell. The two heels tore into one another and brawled all over the ring. Muraco gained the upper hand and hit the Asiatic Spike for a near fall. He hoisted Kowalski up and held him for a vertical suplex and covered him but Kowalski kicked out. Muraco hit the Hawaiian Hammer to retain the gold.

It's really good to see Don Muraco standing his ground as the RoC Universal Champion over Yukon Eric and then Killer Kowalski, plus I like the tandem of Danielson & Black...

Muraco good title defense. Thanks. I'm hoping Muraco has a few more defenses left in him. CC - So far, I'm still keeping tag team matches as special attractions. I like the team of Black and Danielson too, though.

Golden Age Glory - night 1: Ivan Koloff vs. Terrible Turk: Koloff and Turk made no pretense of following the rules and fought tooth and nail all over the ring area. After five minutes, Koloff blasted Turk with the Russian Chain, drawing the DQ.
Les Thatcher vs. Jim Londos: Thatcher took the fight to Londos in the early moments of the match and looked to be on his way to a career-making upset. Thatcher locked on the Stump Puller but Londos made it to the ropes. Londos made a comeback and locked on the Boston Crab but Thatcher made it to the ropes. Londos hit the Airplane Spin for the win.
Bryan Danielson vs. George Hackenschmidt: Danielson and Hackenschmidt wrestled a grueling match. Danielson took the upper hand early on, wearing Hack down with the suplex arsenal, two cattle mutilations, and a triangle choke but couldn't put the Russian Lion away. Hackenschmidt made a comeback and used his superior strength to frustrate Danielson, wearing him down with three Russian Bear Hugs and a wristlock suplex. Danielson tried to make a comeback but Hackenschmidt locked on the bear hug a fourth time for the win. After the match, Danielson and Hackenschmidt shook hands.
Davy Richards vs. John Pesek: Pesek took Richards apart from the opening bell. Pesek wore Richards down with a body triangle and crossface, two double wristlocks and two Tiger Man Toeholds. Pesek whipped Richards to the ropes for a back drop. Richards kicked Pesek in the face and hit the Saito Suplex for a near fall. Pesek got to his feet and Richards hit the DR Driver for the win.
Nigel McGuinness vs. French Angel: The French Angel started strong, wearing Nigel down with the bearhug. Tillet threw Nigel out of the ring and slammed him into the ring steps, earning the DQ.
Lou Thesz vs. Frank Gotch: Thesz and Gotch electrified the crowd with their technical display. Thesz scored a near fall early on with the Thesz Press but Gotch made a comeback and hit the Gotch Toe Hold out of nowhere for the win.
William Muldoon vs. Strangler Lewis for a shot at the RoC Universal Crown: Lewis and Muldoon wrestled a back and forth match. Muldoon eventually took control and wore Lewis down with the double shoulder lock. Lewis escaped the hold but Muldoon hit the body lift and throw for the win.
Don Muraco vs. Gorgeous George for the RoC Universal Crown: Gorgeous George took the fight to Muraco and set the tempo of the match, slicing the champ open with his Georgie Pins and throwing Muraco off his game. Muraco took the easy way out and left the ring. George followed and Muraco slammed him face first into the ringpost in full view of the referee, earning the DQ.

Golden Age Glory - night 2: Les Thatcher vs. Terrible Turk: Thatcher attacked Turk at the opening bell, not letting the Turk set the tempo of the match. Thatcher hit a crossbody block for a near fall. The Turk made a comeback and locked on the camel backbreaker but Thatcher made it to the ropes. Turk thumbed Thatcher in the eye and locked on the stranglehold. The referee decided that Turk was choking Thatcher and disqualified him.
Bryan Danielson vs. Dick Hutton: Hutton used his strength advantage to frustrate Danielson, who was clearly still exhausted from his battle with George Hackenschmidt. Hutton wore down Danielson with the sleeper and got the win via the Oklahoma Sideroll.
Ivan Koloff vs. French Angel: Koloff demolished the French Angel, winning after three Russian Bear Hugs.
Austin Aries vs. John Pesek: Pesek took out his frustrations on Austin Aries, wearing Aries down with two double wristlocks and a fireman's carry slam before getting the submission victory with the Tiger Man Toehold.
Davy Richards vs. George Hackenschmidt: Hackenschmidt pummeled Richards at the opening bell and locked on the Russian Bear Hug. Richards fought back and scored a near fall with the Tombstone. Richards hit the Brainbuster on the Russian Lion for the win.
Nigel McGuinness vs. Frank Gotch: Gotch took control at the opening bell and whipped Nigel into the ropes. Nigel hit the Jawbreaker Lariat for a near fall and clamped on the London Dungeon. Gotch escaped the hold and made a comeback. Gotch took Nigel down and locked on the Gotch Toe Hold for the win.
Lou Thesz vs. Jim Londos: Londos took the early advantage and wore Thesz down with the Airplane Spin. Thesz made a comeback and scored near falls with the Thesz Press and the Greco-Roman Backdrop. Thesz locked on the Double Wristlock for the win.
Don Muraco vs. William Muldoon for the RoC Universal Crown: Muldoon had the match of his life, taking the early advantage, wearing down Muraco with the suplex and the body lift and throw. Muraco battled back and hit a neckbreaker but Muldoon shook off the effects. Muraco hit the Hawaiian Hammer but Muldoon kicked out. The match spilled out to the floor and Muldoon's temper got the better of him. He suplexed Muraco into the crowd, earning the DQ.

I like how Don Muraco has escaped losing the Gold twice via DQ and I like seeing Hackenschmidt over Danielson. Les Thatcher I would like to see rise up and win a shot at the Gold, he is one of those cards that just stood out to me and maybe he can one day pull out enough victories to garner a title shot, Good Stuff Gun...
