Sly Drury comes out and approaches the podium to address the assembled press.
Sly Drury, "Ladies and gentlemen, Sudden Death was a culling, and many aWe stars are gone. I am here to present you with the new aWe roster."
Drury directs ther attention to the holo-tron above him and the names of the stars signed to the aWe appeared on the screen before being replaced by the aWe logo.
Drury, "This is a new age for the aWe. I'll take some questions now."
Before anyone could even begin, a shot rang out, and Drury was struck with a stunned look on his face. Drury stood for a moment as blood began to bloom on his chest and he toppled over. Standing behind him was Iron Hand! The former GWF Commissioner, not to mention Sly Drury himself, is flanked by two men that resemble Gemin and Gemello. Iron Hand passes the gun used to kill Drury to the man on his left and steps up to the podium.
Iron Hand, "Sly Drury is dead and the aWe dies with him."
Iron Hand points at the screen and the aWe bursts into flames and crumbles as the GWF logo rises from the ashes.
Iron Hand, "Things have changed. The Galactic Wrestling Federation rises like a phoenix from the ashes of the aWe and I will be at its head. If anyone has a problem with this they can take it up with my Head of Security."
The lights dim and Monolith steps between the two men and towers over Iron Hand.
Iron Hand, "You are looking at the Iron Guard. Monolith, Alphonse, and Darmondy. If anyone steps out of line the consequences will be seift and severe. You will respect me, even if that motivation is fear, because I...Run...This...FED!"
Iron Hand turns to leave and steps over the corpse of Sly, leaving a stunned, and silent crowd.
*This is a repost of the opening promo for wht was to be the return of my GWF. It never really happened, but I have become inspired again and this will represent my GWF going forward from 2126 on. Being as I'm sporadic with my playing, my years may not always match up with the official year, but it should remain close.

The Code Enforcers : Ma'Geden, Galactic Defender, New Gods (Ajax & Achilles), Ky'Oushu, & Peace Keeper
Ma'Geden (Endgame), having grown tired of the dissension in the FDF, has left the group. He has brought in people that he believes will better serve his 'Crusade' against the evil in the GWF. In an interesting throw-back to the past, Ma'Geden has recruited Ajax & Achilles, both graduates of Actagon's school to face off against Rush & Turmoil.
The Galactic Defender is a Justicar for this galaxy. He upholds the law and has joined Ma'Geden in his quest to rid the galaxy of the Aethran menace. He has targeted Paralyze for the murder of Havoc and seeks to bring him to justice.
Ky'Oushu has joined his Corvus brother after leaving The Assassin's Guild, passing on his letter to a new recruit. He faces the Aethran's newest member, The Leveler.
The Gladiators of Aethra : Aethran Overmaster, Paralyze, The Gladiators (Rush & Turmoil), The Leveler, & Strafe.
With the elimination of Sly Drury AOM is set to take over the GWF, standing in his way is not only Ma'Geden, but a very pissed off Monolith. The re-emergence of Iron Hand has put a wrench in AOM's plans, but he has brought in The Leveler to even the playing field.
The Animen of Andromeda : Andromeda Dragon, Panther Warrior, Tusk, Sons of Capricorn (Ibex & Markhor), & Pitch Black
The Animen had been decimated, Panther Warrior was alone, and it was revealed that Swarm was not an Animan. The man known as Swarm was a native of Omicron with the ability to control insects. The Council on Andromeda have sent Panther Warrior fresh recruits from the Leader of the Pack tournaments. They face a tough challenge in the return of CarnEvil lead by Carson P. Century.
CarnEvil (CPC) : Tricks, Strong, Theiss Phellan, Creep Show (Buffet & Astro Creep), & Andrea
Carson P. Century has partnered with the demented clown Tricks to put together a real collection of freaks. CPC has taken the reigns of the diminished Dark Carnival, formally The Greatest Show, and renamed it CarnEvil to represent its new frightening direction. Oracle remains with the group, but what capacity he serves is still unknown, as he sits in the back making predictions. Oracle seems to be locked in a trance and all attempts to break him from it have failed.
The Legends Workshop (The Collector) : Star Warrior, Thantos, Bishop Hell, Lord Nexus, Vanity, & SuperNova
The Collector has revealed himself as the mastermind behind the return of Thantos & Bishop Hell. He has bolstered the team with Star Warrior, Lord Nexus, Vanity, & SuperNova. These new 'Legends' have rubbed people the wrong way and The Collector has made enemies with just about everyone so the group has a fight on all sides, not the mention The Collector's rival in Cthulhu who has brought his own collection of talent to the GWF.
The Legends Workshop has two tag teams that can be ranked. The Gamemasters (Thantos & Star Warrior) & The Satanic Cult (Bishop Hell & Thantos).
The Vault of Horrors : Cthulhu, Nyogoth, Leviathan, Flesh Ripper, Nosfera, & Lady Lamia
Cthulhu the Collector has brought madness to the GWF. The core members of the Vault are dedicated to Cthulhu and stay out of loyalty and not out of domination. Cthulhu looks to collect the stars of the GWF, so he steps into the ring, and anyone brave enough the face him takes the chance of becoming one of his slaves. He has targeted The Legends Workshop specifically since it is lead by The Collector and he wants to knock a viewed competitor out of the GWF.
The Vault of Horrors has two tag teams that can be ranked. Mythos (Cthulhu & Nyogoth) & The Beasts of Brymstone (Flesh Ripper & Nosfera).
The FDF : Tauran, Psi, Ensor, Pride & Prejudice (Pride & Paganax), & Phantasy
With U.S. Male gone, Tauran has stepped into the leadership role of the FDF. He has recruited a close friend in Psi to help him push back Invasion Force, a new group lead by the returning Epoch. The Heathen Chief has returned! Paganax's essence seems to have driven Godsend from his body and regained control. Paganax has joined the FDF for one reason only...the return of The Ravagers.
Invasion Force : Epoch, Symbosis, Frontier, The Ravagers (Tharkas & Ventross), & Solstice
EPOCH HAS RETURNED...and he promises to take over the GWF with his new army! Epoch has recruited his Invasion Force from several war-based races. Frontier (the renamed Gryt) from CTA-102, Tharkus & Ventross representing the Ravagers, & Solstice from Cygnus. The master strategist has brought a formidable group in his bid for domination of the galaxy, only time will tell if he can get through the GWF's first line of defense in the FDF.
The Titans : Dragonlord, Y2K, Overtime, Titan Bulldogs (Saturn & Titan Kid II)
The Titans are all new. Much like the Andromedans, the Titans thought it would be better to send in some new blood to represent Titan. All former members have been called home and replaced with a new team. While Dragonlord has the mantle of leadership, how long he can maintain it with the egos of Y2K & Overtime is up in the air. The group faces off against the Masked Assassins in a storied rivalry going back to the early days of the GWF.
The Masked Assassins : Harm, Exzcutioner, Swarm, The Shadowclan (Skulk & Hijack)
Harm has embraced his destiny as an Assassin and leads a very deadly group into the GWF. Harm serves as the unopposed leader of the Assassin's and stands at ringside during the other member's matches as well as competing in the ring. After it was revealed that Swarm was only posing as an Animen, the truth of his actions have come to light. Swarm was a plant by Harm to feel out the GWF so he could pick the first Masked Assassins that would invade the GWF. While Swarm succeeded in his mission to dismantle the Animen of Andromeda, the team has returned with a vengeance and Swarm faces a feud with Panther Warrior.
Harm has promised that more Assassins will emerge as they fight not only the Titans, but the Andromedans as well.
The OFC : Ripper, The Ultimate Fighters (Clinch & Shoot)
Clinch and Shoot have called in a favor and brought in Ripper. Ripper is of the same race as Jack Hood and brings a no-nonsense style to the ring as The OFC try to prove that MMA is superior to wrestling.
Masters of the Mat : Hegemony, The All-Stars (Parox & Varsity)
Hegemony is disgusted by the violence that The OFC champions and has brought in two other mat specialists in Parox & Varsity. Hegemony believes wrestling is superior to MMA and looks to prove it against The OFC
The Iron Guard : Monolith, Contract Killers (Alphonse & Darmondy)
Monolith made his shocking return and the entire GWF is on notice. Step out of line, or make Iron Hand angry, and you will face the Iron Guard.
Single Wrestlers
HelSin w/ Scorn Coven Black w/ Mistress of Darkness Totalis 'The Tournament Master' The Amazing Mann The Saint Encubus Magnifico Avarice Evil Dead w/ Amaranth Mr. Vega Pendragon Rolex Anivar w/ The Sleeper Cell Ceratonin w/ Nemesis

A Very Cool beginning to your returning GWF and it'll be Fun to see how your fed unfolds and where you plan on taking the fed. Plus, I like the unique pairings you have with your factions like the FDF, Animen of Andromeda ( Sons of Capricorn are my favorite tag team from ZT ), the Legends Workshop & Vault of Horrors...

Thanks for the enthusiasm guys. I hope to get the first card posted tonight after work. I've been busy getting them all together for ease of play. There have been a few minor teaks to the roster, but nothing major. I also have some alternate art that I will share over time, namely Ky'Oshu, Peace Keeper, Varsity, & Cthulhu, but there are some others.

The Iron Gauntlet Bracket 1 Iron Hand stands in the center of the ring along with The Iron Guard. Two pedestals are beamed into the ring. On them are the newly designed Galaxian title and the Galaxian tag titles. Iron Hand grabs the tag titles and hand them to the Contract Killers. Alphonse and Darmondy strap them across their waists as Iron Hand presents the Galaxian title to Monolith who shoulders it.
Iron Hand, "You want them? Come get them! Let the Iron Gauntlet begin."With that everyone is teleported from the ring along with the pedestals and the first match gets under way.Helsin vs TricksHelsin opens the match with a Trinity Spear and goes for the cover. Tricks quickly kicks out and regains his feet. Helsin lays in some shots, but gets countered while attempting a cross arm piledriver, and hit with the Killing Joke. Tricks tries to follow up in the turnbuckle, but Helsin once again gains control of the match. Helsin hits a double jump moonsault and Tricks rolls from the ring before Helsin can follow up. Helsin comes out and the two men begin to brawl. Tricks gains the upper hand and goes for the AX MURDERER. Helsin moves at the last moment and Tricks clotheslines himself on the top rope. Helsin sets up for STAKE TO THE HEART and goes for the pin. Tricks manages to kick out but looks hurt. The two men trade shots before Tricks jabs Helsin in the eye. While he is blinded Tricks hits COULROPHOBIA to get the pin fall. As Helsin is recovering, Coven Black hits the ring and lays in some shots, but Helsin fights back forcing Black to retreat. Helsin gets no time to rest though as Harm comes through the crowd and jumps him to start the match.Tricks is injured 1 card.Harm vs HelsinHarm connects with a Loaded Glove before hitting DROP ZONE. Helsin kicks out and Harm locks in HARM'S WAY. Helsin fights to the ropes to break the hold. Harm gets up and gets in the referee's face. While the two men are arguing Swarm hits the ring and hit Helsin with the Venomous Stinger before exiting the ring. Harm goes for the pin and scores the victory with PLANNED ASSASSINATION.* *I'm using Planned Assassination differently than the card states. Whenever Harm rolls this I roll a dice to determine which Assassin comes to his aid. Right now it is 1-3 Exzcutioner 4-5 Swarm 6 Shadowclan.Tauran vs HarmTauran comes out and goes right to work on Harm keeping him on the defense. Tauran goes up top, but so does Harm, and a struggle ensues. Tauran gets the better of the exchange and drops Harm on his face before hitting the VICTORY STAR DROP. One...Two...No! Harm kicks out at the last second. Harm tries to escape to the outside, but Tauran follows him out, and sends him into the post. Tauran tosses Harm back into the ring where Harm grabs the referee. While the ref is distracted, the Shadowclan come out of cloak and hit Tauran with Whiteout, before tossing him into the ring. Harm hits the DROP ZONE but Tauran manages to kick out. Harm lays in some punishment before hitting a wicked clothesline in the corner and locking in HARM'S WAY. There is an audible pop, but Tauran fights through the intense pain, and makes it to the ropes. Growing frustrated Harm tosses Tauran from the ring and once again gets the referee's attention as Exzcutioner hits the Killstroke on Tauran and rolls him into the ring. Harm scores another win with PLANNED ASSASSINATION. Tauran is injured 2 cards.Tricks vs TauranTricks attacks the exhausted an injured Tauran with Tricked Out and the Death by Hanging, which rendered Tauran unconscious, giving Tricks an easy win. Tricks vs HarmHarm didn't have much time to recover as the last match lasted less than 2 minutes. After a short exchange, Harm dropped Tricks with a Loaded Glove, and the evil clown rolled from the ring. Right into a Killstroke by Exzcutioner. Harm goes for the pin after PLANNED ASSASSINATION, but Tricks kicks out. This time Swarm gets involved and hits the Venomous Stinger. Harm goes for the pin but Tricks kicks out again. Tricks regains the momentum, but it comes to a quick halt as he crashes into Harm's knees, and goes down hard. Harm locks in HARM'S WAY and picks up the victory over Tricks. Tricks injured an additional 1 card.Pitch Black vs Lady LamiaLady Lamia was all over the Ani-Woman as she hit the Kiss of Death several times and the Vampiric Embrace, trying to set up for her finisher. Lamia stepped in for another Vampiric Embrace and payed for it when Pitch Black stabbed her with ENVENOMATION. While Lamia was temporarily paralyzed Pitch Black scored the pin fall. As Pitch Black is making her way up the ramp Andrea comes out and attacks her. Before security can defuse the situation, Andrea spikes Pitch Black on the ramp with the Volansian Strangle Drop.Pitch Black injured 4 cards.Creep Show vs The ShadowclanBefore the match could even get underway, The Masked Assassins attacks Astro Creep and Buffet. After a brutal beat-down, Buffet was tossed into the ring, and hit with BAND OF THIEVES by the Shadowclan. Astro Creep was in no condition to make the save and Buffet was pinned. Carson P. Century called for the rest of CarnEvil to come out and soon a wild brawl between the two groups erupted. Harm called off the Assassins as GWF security made their way into the fray and the group retreated through the crowd.Helsin vs TauranThe match was all Tauran, despite his fatigue, and he hit back to back VICTORY STAR DROPS in an attempt to put Helsin away. Neither move really connected and Helsin was able to kick out of both attempts. The action spilled to the outside where Helsin gained control, and after some great back and forth action between the two men, Helsin hit the Exorcism to score the pin fall. After the match, Helsin helped the beaten Tauran to his feet, and shook his hand as the show came to a close.Tauran is injured an addition 1 card.Bracket 1 results :Harm: 3 - 0Tricks: 2 - 1 Helsin: 1 - 2 Tauran: 0 - 3 InjuriesTricks - 2 cards Tauran - 3 cards Pitch Black - 4 cards I've been wanting to run an Impossible Tournament for a while and this was the perfect opportunity to do so. The winner of The Iron Gauntlet will receive a title match against Monolith. I am also running a tag tournament & women's tournament to determine who gets a shot at the tag titles and who will be the new GWF Women's champion. After the tournaments are finished I will introduce a Holo-Vision title that will be defended on every card. As of now I have no plans for an Intergalactic title, but I do have something else in the works.
