So with no farther words, let’s get to our first match!”
- Galaxian Title Tournament’s First Round -
Monolith vs. Switchblade
Monolith defeated Switchblade with a CATASTROPHE
Match Notes: Monolith makes quick work of Switchblade after a series of Monolithic Slams, followed up by a CATASTROHE.
Star Warrior vs. Paganax
Paganax defeated Star Warrior with a PAGAN VOID
Match Notes: This match back in forth between these two superstars, with lots of counters and counters of counters. At one point Star Warrior went for a COSMIC BIG NOVA LAUNCH, but slipped on the top turnbuckle giving Paganax the chance to hit him with a PAGAN VOID to win the match!
Hector vs. Tauran
Hector defeated Tauran with an I KNOW YOUR SECRET
Match Notes: Hector wasted no time in jumping Tauran before the match even started. Hector kept up the momentum with repeated moves like Serial Stalker and Cerebral Assassination over and over again until Tauran was a bloody mess. Then Hector nailed Tauran with his finisher I KNOW YOUR SECERT!
Bishop Hell vs. Thantos
Thantos defeated Bishop Hell by making him submit with the MASTERLOCK
Match Notes: What a match for the ages! This was one hell of a match; both wrestlers didn’t haste to pull out all the stops in this one. After about Ten minutes in the match, Bishop Hell had Thantos down on the mat and went for his patent HELLFIRE, only to have it pushed back in his face. Then Thantos nailed Bishop Hell with a LEGEND LARIAT and followed it up with a MASTERLOCK to have Bishop Hell yell “I QUIT!” over and over.
Paralyze vs. Payback
Paralyze defeated Payback after three HEART TRANSPLANTs
Match Notes: If there was ever a one sided match this has to be it, folks! Payback was just out powered by Paralyzes’ strength. Paralyze showed us just why he is one of the most powerful men in the RSP.
Psi vs. The Betrayer
The Betrayer defeated Psi with a BLACK FUNERAL
Match Notes: With probably the most shocking win of the night, The Betrayer pulls out a win over Psi by nailing him with a BLACK FUNERAL when the referee had Psi distracted.
Anivar vs. Bloodline
Bloodline defeated Anivar with a CETUS MASTERLOCK
Match Notes: The whole match was going in Anivars’ favor until Bloodline was able counter the KNUCKLE TATTOO and slap on the CETUS MASTERLOCK to make Anivar give up.
Aethran OverMaster vs. Endgame
Aethran OverMaster defeated Endgame with a REGIN OF THE OVERMASTER
Match Notes: In the beginning of the match Endgame was using his agility to perform great hit and run tactics to stay away from Overmasters’ reach. But, the Overmaster just would not go down and too much raw power in the end. The Overmaster hit Endgame with a REGIN OF THE OVERMASTER for the 1-2-3!
- King Lear and Pegasus -
King Lear and Pegasus discuss what was their favorite matche from the first round of the tournament!
King Lear: What a great first round tournament, we saw so far tonight! We saw a couple upsets, some miss-matches, and some great one-on-one matches. But, the match that I think takes the Cetus cake is the Thantos vs. Bishop Hell match! That was an awesome match that could have gone either way, but Thantos showed that he was really made of by using Bishop Hell’s own finisher against him then slapping on the MASTERLOCK for the win.
Pegasus: I agree that was a great match, but it was nothing compared to the Star Warrior vs. Paganax match! Star Warrior had that match won, but lost his footing on the top turnbuckle giving Paganax the chance to hit Star Warrior with the PAGAN VOID. Star Warrior showed me a lot in that match, and I think one day very soon he could be a champion. Now back to the ring!
- Galaxian Title Tournament’s Second Round -
Monolith vs. Paganax
Monolith defeated Paganax with a CATASTROPHE
Match Notes: Monolith and Paganax battled the hell out of each other, back and forth. At one point, Paganax hit his patient finisher PAGAN VOID on Monolith for a two count. Monolith then fought his way back to nail Paganax with a CATASTROPHE.
Hector vs. Thantos
Thantos defeated Hector with a LEGEND LARIAT
Match Notes: This was a bizarre match to say the least. Hector wasted no time and took the fight straight to Thantos. What was looking like a one sided match, turned into a win by Thantos, when Hector missed his finisher and Thantos spun the bear heads’ around causing Hector to not be able to see. Then Thantos hit Hector with a LEGEND LARIAT for a quick 1-2-3.
Paralyze vs. The Betrayer
Paralyze defeated The Betrayer with a PERMANTENTLY PARALYZED
Match Notes: Once again Paralyze didn’t even break a sweat in this match, making short work of The Betrayer after nailed him with the PERMANTENTLY PARALYZED.
Bloodline vs. Aethran Overmaster
Aethran Overmaster defeated Bloodline with a REGIN OF THE OVERMASTER
Match Notes: Bloodline tried his best to knock the big man off his feet, but got a nasty Overmaster Overhead Toss instead for his troubles. The Overmaster then delivers a unforgiveable REGIN OF THE OVERMASTER for the easy victory.
- King Lear and Pegasus -
King Lear and Pegasus their predictions for the third round of the tournament!
King Lear: With the second round of the Galaxian Title Tournament over, who do you see winning the next round Pegasus? We have Monolith vs. Thantos going head to head.
Pegasus: Those are going to be two great matches! But, I see Thantos winning against Monolith. We saw from the Thantos vs. Hector match that he is willing to do whatever it takes to win. Plus, I think that Thantos will out smart that stupid brute Monolith!
King Lear: I can’t disagree with you more on that one. I think it will be a good match, but Thantos is just plain out-powered with going up against a man like Monolith. Now how do you see the Paralyze vs. Aethran Overmaster match going?
Pegasus: This is the match I’m most looking forward too. Which can go either way, when you’re matching up two of the biggest Aethrans together in a match against each other.
King Lear: For once Pegasus, I think we can both agree on something tonight that this is like pitting two cosmic titans against each other. I can’t wait to see this match and shouldn’t disappoint any true wrestling fan. Now, back to the ring for the start of the third round of the tournament!
- Galaxian Title Tournament’s Third Round -
Monolith vs. Thantos
Monolith defeated Thantos with a CATASTROPHE
Match Notes: Thantos being the bright young star he is went to work on Monoliths’ leg. Taking the big man off his feet and setting him up for the MASTERLOCK. Monolith stayed in the MASTERLOCK for what seemed like forever, before he was able to reverse the hold. Monolith was then able to get to the ropes and back to his feet before delivering a CATASTROPHE to Thantos for the win.
Paralyze vs. Aethran Overmaster
The match was thrown out after a mystery man stormed the ring and savagely attacked both men
Match Notes: Fans! This match started out to be a real powerhouse of a fight. Neither, man able to get the better of the other in the beginning of the match, both was showing their true raw power. Then, the match took to the outside of the ring, where the Overmaster seemed to get the first advantage of the night over Paralyze with a stunning piledriver to the floor. Just as the Overmaster was rolling Paralyze back into the ring, a mysterious monster attacks both men with an Aethran Sledgehammer.
While the Overmaster is layed out, the big monster picks up Paralyze over his shoulders, walks over to the turnbuckle. Process to walk up to the top of the turnbuckle, and delivers what appears to be a spinning Spinebuster to the concrete floor outside the ring. You can just hear the CRUSHING sound as they both hit the floor. Half the crowd is stunned with just what they saw, while the other half is standing to their feet jeering the monster on! The monster then rushes back into the ring, grabs the Overmaster up on his back and into a back breaking Backbreaker!
Security finally comes rushing to the ring, to break up the vicious hold the monster has on the Overmaster. They get him to break the hold, but you can be sure the damage has already been done.
