I've decided to do a new take on the GWF starting from 2087 and going forward. The wrestlers will be representatives of their planets. This means villains/heroes can end up on the same team. Also some groups are going to be bigger than others. I'll have a point system up to show you how things will progress year to year, but their are bigger consequences for the bottom eight wrestlers, as they will be eliminated to make way for new wrestlers the following year. Hope you enjoy it. I should have the first tournament done tomorrow sometime.
For now here is the roster :
Earth Actagon Proteus Commander Sam Executioner Ghengis Khan
Neptune Beast-Rider Renegade Vanity
Aethra Brute Massacre
Cygnus[/u] Comrade Terror Torpor Mangus
Sagitta* Death Knight Exo-King Killer Queen Torin Caelum
CTA-102 Invincible Krakan Montrol
Titan Lord Nexus Pit Viper Pulsar K.O. Keller
Pleiades Vice Sin Salvation
Thantos (Maffei II)
Wolf (Andromeda)
Massif (Ceres)
Star Warrior (w/ Omega)(Cetus)
Morpheus (Alderbaran)
Zarius (Code Enforcer)(Scorpius)
*I made the decision to make The Evil Ones from Sagitta given that they had no home planet listed and using their cybernetic implants as the basis.

Group A
Lord Nexus vs Killer Queen Both men trading momentum several times, before Nexus dodged a turnbuckle charge, and rolled Killer Queen up for the three count.
Actagon vs Krakan Krakan rolled Actagon after a double clothesline and hit the FALLING FACE SLAM to gain the victory.
Executioner vs Torpor Executioner took Torpor down quickly and hit the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE, but Torpor got a foot on the ropes, and broke the count. Executioner grabbed the rising Torpor in a face claw and forced the Cygnusian to submit.
Comrade Terror tries to run Executioner down, but the Earth native is ready for him, and uses his momentum to send him crashing into Torpor before heading up the ramp.
Vice vs Massacre Massacre shows what Aethran Dominance is all about. He hits Vice with a knee lift to open the contest and scores a near fall with a running clothesline. Massacre follows up with a wicked DECAPITATOR (snake eyes) to put Vice down for the count.
Vice injured 5 cards.
Group B
Pit Viper vs Death Knight The Titan Pit Viper has an easy time with Death knight, and after several high impact moves, he gets the pin fall with a cross body off the top rope.
Comrade Terror vs Massif Comrade Terror was visibly upset over what happened earlier. He attacked Massif right out of the gate and dropped the big man with a reverse knife-edge chop before spiking him with the ATOMIC WARHEAD to advance in the tournament.
Commander Sam vs Sin Commander Sam is blindsided by Comrade Terror on the way down to the ring and gets spiked on the ramp with the ATOMIC WARHEAD. Sin takes advantage by dragging Sam to the ring and rolls him into the ring for the kill. Sin waits for a woozy Sam to get to his feet before dropping him with KNUCKLE SANDWICH and picks up the victory.
Sin flashes an evil grin and pulls out a wicked looking blade. Before he can do any harm to Commander Sam he is stopped by his own tag partner Salvation. Sin reluctantly puts the blade away and follows his partner to the back.
Morpheus vs Thantos The student must have learned well from his teacher Morpheus as he ambushes Morpheus on the way to the ring and tosses him in the ring after a Satanic Skull Smasher. A second Satanic Skull Smasher and a choke on the ropes sets up the MASTERLOCK. Morpheus refuses to tap and fights toward the ropes. Thantos goes to lock in a sleeper, but Morpheus evades him, and rolls to the floor. Thantos follows him out and sends him hard into the post before continuing his assault. The referee drops to the floor to establish control and gets shoved to the mat by Thantos. Once back inside, Thantos chokes Morpheus on the ropes a second time, before connecting with another Satanic Skull Smasher. Morpheus is bleeding at this point and Thantos locks in the MASTERLOCK again. Morpheus' shoulders remain on the mat long enough for the three count and The Gamemaster moves on in dominate fashion.
Group C
Star Warrior vs Renegade Renegade got in a small amount of offense before Star Warrior connected with a cross body block that set up the NOVA LAUNCH for the three count.
Wolf vs Pulsar Pulsar put up a hell of a fight in the early going, nearly upsetting Wolf with a Titan Drop, but ultimately lost after Wolf applied the SAVAGE FACE CLAW.
Ghengis Khan vs Brute This one proved to be a fairly even match with Khan standing toe to toe with the Aethran. The action spilled to the outside where Khan grabbed one of the hover-cams and bashed Brute's face in before rolling him back into the ring. Khan hit a deadly throat chop, a standing karate kick, and the TWIN THRUST, and was still unable to put Brute away. The to went to the outside a second time, with Brute getting the upper-hand, and running Khan down with a clothesline before rolling back into the ring. Khan made it back in before the ten count and ate a DECAPITATOR from Brute. Khan managed to kick out and Brute connected with a second DECAPITATOR (snake eyes) that turned Khan inside out before scoring the pin fall.
Ghengis Khan injured 3 cards
Zarius vs Torin Caelum Another great back and forth battle between two great competitors. Both mean scored several near falls on their opponent with their signature moves. The end came when Torin was able to lock Zarius in CAELUM'S GRIP and forced his opponent to tap out.
Group D
Vanity vs Montrol in what proved to be the shock of the night, Montrol countered a turnbuckle splash by the dominate Vanity, and followed with the MONTROL STEAMROLLER to put the Glamorous One away.
Mangus vs Salvation Mangus controlled the pace of the match, picking Salvation apart before hitting THE ANNIHILATOR for the pin fall.
Proteus vs Exo-King The two men traded shots in the early going, but a mistake by Proteus gave Exo-king the opening he needed, and he locked in the DEATH VISE for the victory.
Beast-Rider vs K.O. Keller A bulldog headlock, followed by a K.O. Heart Punch, and the the TEN COUNT was all it took to put Beast-Rider down for the count.

Round 2
Lord Nexus vs Krakan Krakan was on the offense, and tossed Nexus to the floor to deliver some more punishment, only to have Nexus counter the attack. Lord Nexus threw Krakan back into the ring for a flying leg scissors to score the upset.
Krakan rolled to his feet and decked Nexus with his iron gauntlet, grabbed a chair, and delivered the FALLING FACE SLAM to the steel! Lord Nexus was busted open and looked hurt, placing his position in the tournament in jeopardy.
Executioner vs Massacre Executioner set Massacre up for the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE quickly, but the Aethran powered out, and rolled to the floor. Executioner pursued him and got dropped across the barricade at ringside before Massacre spiked him with a Gladiator Piledriver. Massacre tosses Executioner back into the ring and goes for the pin fall, but Executioner manages to get his shoulder up before the three. Massacre delivers another Gladiator Piledriver before hitting Executioner with the DECAPITATOR. Once again he kicks out. Massacre hits the MASSACRE SLAM and Executioner gets a foot on the ropes to break the count. Massacre seemed to grow frustrated, and spiked Executioner hard into the mat with a second MASSACRE SLAM, and this time Executioner had nothing left and was pinned.
Pit Viper vs Comrade Terror Pit Viper was all over Terror before sending him into the turnbuckle. Pit Viper went for a splash and ate the post as Comrade Terror moved at the last minute. Terror rolled Pit Viper up and scored the pin fall using the ropes for leverage.
Comrade Terror had no time to celebrate his win as Commander Sam charged into the ring and attacked him. The two men had to be separated by security before things got out of hand.
Sin vs Thantos Sin was no match for the more experienced Thantos. The Gamemaster countered an attack by Sin and hit him with a running clothesline that set up a double knee lift. Thantos then locked in the MASTERLOCK and Sin had no choice but to tap out.
Star Warrior vs Wolf The two warriors were going back and forth in a heated battle, when Star Warrior went for a spear in the turnbuckle, and was sent crashing to the floor as Wolf moved. Wolf came over the top rope with an incredible suicide dive and crushed Star Warrior before returning to the ring. Star Warrior crawled into the ring at the count of nine to avoid the count out. Wolf locked on the SAVAGE FACE CLAW, but Warrior managed to escape the hold. Wolf went high risk off the top rope, but crashed to the mat, as Star Warrior rolled out of the way. Star Warrior jumped to the top rope, signaled for the NOVA LAUNCH, and scored the pin fall over Wolf.
Brute vs Torin Caelum Caelum made short work of the Aethran Brute! He hit a running bulldog to open the match, and immediately locked Brute in CAELUM'S GRIP to secure the victory.
Montrol vs Mangus Mangus and Montrol went back and forth for several minutes, with neither man really gaining the upper hand, until Montrol went on a run that ended with the MONTROL STEAMROLLER. Mangus managed to kick out, but was visibly shaken at how hard Montrol was fighting. Mangus went on another short run, but was countered by Montrol, and the CTA-102 native was once again on top. During the match Torpor made his way to ringside and distracted Montrol. Montrol rolled under the ropes and gave chase. Mangus exploded from his hiding place with a viscous clothesline before tossing Montrol back into the ring. Mangus hits THE ANNIHILATOR only to have Montrol kick out. Mangus drops Montrol on his head with several brainbusters, before tossing him into the corner for a devastating running clothesline. Mangus drops to the mat for an illegal choke, before picking Montrol up for a second ANNIHILATOR, and the pin fall.
Exo-King vs K.O. Keller Exo-King got his ass handed to him as Keller hit him with punch after punch. After the third K.O. Heart Punch, Keller hit Exo-King with THE TEN COUNT, and covered the limp body for the three count.
Third Round Match-Ups

HELL YEA!! 100% on my picks!! Loved Krakan's attack after the loss - perfect characterization! The build between Sam & Terror was great too - glad to see Terror advance; I'd LOVE to see him upset Thantos in the next round. (Not that I'm picking it that way though ) I always thought Mangus was a choad; you have managed to make him interesting so far - but he's at the end of the line I'm afraid with Keller waiting for him in the next round. All in all, great round to the tournament!! *self high five* Picks for the next round: Massacre Thantos (I'm rooting for Terror though) Star Warrior K.O. Keller

Third Round Match-Ups
Lord Nexus (inj) vs Massacre Lord Nexus was still suffering the effects of Krakan's attack and it showed. Massacre countered Nexus' opening attack with a atomic knee drop, before coming off the top for a near fall, and putting the nail in the coffin of the Titan with the MASSACRE SLAM.
Comrade Terror vs Thantos Thantos and Comrade Terror went back and forth. Thantos locked Terror in a sleeper and almost put him out. Terror escaped to the floor. Thantos went out after him and Terror rammed him back first into the ring apron, before propelling him into the ring steps, and then tossed him back into the ring. Terror hit the ATOMIC WARHEAD after a Terror Face Claw failed to get Thantos to give up and Thantos kicked out of it as well. Comrade Terror unloaded everything on The Gamemaster and went to lock on the Terror Face Claw again. Thantos dropped to the mat and rolled from the ring. Terror resisted the urge to go out after him and waited for Thantos to return to the ring. Terror continued his assault, but Thantos battled back, and it wasn't long before Terror found himself in the MASTERLOCK. With no where to go, the Cygnusian tapped out.
Star Warrior vs Torin Caelum After a back and forth fight, Star Warrior finally gained the upper hand, and scored the pin fall after a NOVA LAUNCH.
Mangus vs K.O. Keller During the fight, Mangus gets tossed into the corner, and pulls the referee into the path of Torin's charge. The referee goes down hard. Torin hits the TEN COUNT, but there is no ref to count the pin fall. Torin goes to revive the referee and gets blindsided by Mangus who hits THE ANNIHILATOR. The referee crawls over and counts the three giving Mangus the win.
Fourth Round
Massacre vs Thantos Massacre came out of the gates strong and hit the DECAPITATOR early on. Thantos managed to kick out and regained control of the match. Thantos used his signature Satanic Skull Smasher to good effect, hitting Massacre a record EIGHT times in a row, before finally scoring the pin fall after the eighth one.
Star Warrior vs Mangus Star Warrior made short work of Mangus. Hitting him with a flying dropkick, that sent Mangus crashing into the turnbuckle, and putting him in position for the NOVA LAUNCH.
Final Round
Star Warrior vs Thantos Star Warrior just never got started, as any offense he did mount, was quickly squashed by Thantos. The Gamemaster hit the Satanic Skull Smasher twice and scored a flash pin with a double knee lift that left Star Warrior dazed.
Thantos becomes the first GWF Champion.

Mangus beat Keller?!? WOW! Talk about having a solid foundation to build a feud upon...Keller must be seriously frustrated with that result.
Star Warrior had an easier path to the finals; but Thantos once again proved he is THE MAN in the original set.
Great tournament brother!
Now, I'm really interested in seeing where you go from here...let's go!
