2127
BLACK DEATH COMETH The scene opens showing the remaining roster of the GWF and the new Black Death team. Each team stands in a radius of light, oblivious to everyone else, as an unknown face appears before them. A voice booms, "I am The Keeper. I represent all that is and all that can be. You have been summoned to do battle. Some of you fight to preserve the Universe, while others seek its demise. Your first test will be to face your comrades to determine the eight men that will fight for control."A silver belt swims into view. In its center sits an orb where galaxies swirl. The Keeper, "This is the Infinity title. Whoever holds this belt controls the flow of battle. They will choose the match ups for as long as they retain the title. They can pit anyone against anyone, with the exception of pitting teammates against each other."Two more belts appear before the men. They have a similar look to the Infinity title. The Keeper, "These belts are the equivalent of the tag titles you once fought over. Whoever holds these titles will determine where the battles will be fought. This means if a group holds all three titles, they will have total control, giving them a huge advantage. Finally, all championship matches will take place in The Void. These matches will have no outside interference. It will be a test of your own skill to either capture the Infinity titles, or to retain them. First up, the Aethran Qualifier. Let the Battle for the Cosmos begin."Infinity Tournament (Aethran Evolution Qualifier) Round OneMonolith (4) vs Brute (4)The two big men went back and forth. Brute connected with the Decapitator, but was unable to take Monolith off his feet, and Monolith responded with a Crashing Stampede that sent Brute down hard. Monolith goes for CATASTROPHE, land on his feet, and snatches Brute into I BREAK YOU. Brute refused to submit and Monolith went up for a second CATASTROPHE, but missed, giving Brute the advantage. BRUTE FORCE...kick out...Decapitator...kick out! Brute presses his advantage, but soon finds himself on the receiving end of Feel the Terror, before punishing Brute with the lung demolisher to score the pin fall. Paralyze (4) vs MassacreAnother great back and forth battle finally saw Massacre take control, nearly scoring a pin fall with a face wrecker, then the MASSACRE SLAM for another two count. Massacre turned up the dial with a Gladiator Piledriver that nearly put Paralyze away, before spiking him to the amt with a second MASSACRE SLAM for the three count. Rush (4) vs DisasterFresh from a Cleansing, Disaster mauled the smaller Rush. Rush kept Disaster off balance in the early goings, but was caught with Aethran Dominance, which allowed Disaster to take control. Disaster hit Rush with RAMPAGE, only to have the Aethran kick out, then followed up with back to back DECAPITATORS which nearly took Rush's head off to score the pin fall victory. Turmoil (6) vs Leveler (1)The Aethran War Machine pounded on Turmoil mercilessly until finally putting him away with a Decapitator. Round TwoMonolith (6) vs Massacre (2)Still sore after his fight with Brute, Monolith couldn't get out of the gate, despite catching Massacre with a Crashing Stampede and I BREAK YOU. After a cheap shot from the floor by Massacre he was hit with back to back MASSACRE SLAMS and put away. Disaster vs LevelerThe Leveler stood no chance against Disaster's onslaught and fell to the RAMPAGE quickly. Final RoundDisaster vs Massacre (5)Disaster opened with a devastating big boot he calls The Beheading and Massacre dropped like he had been shot. Disaster pulls Massacre to his feet for a Gladiator Piledriver before finishing him off with RAMPAGE. Disaster stands with one foot on the Aethran's chest to claim the victory. Disater qualifies for the Final 8.

Wow! I still can't believe that Ensor made it to the final 8.
Mann really rolled Exzcutioner into submission - no surprise there. LOL!
Looking good so far - looking forward to more!

Add Mack Caliber & Totalis to the mix as well... Totalis beating Ma'Geden (Endgame) is incredible...I expected Ma'Geden to walk through this one. I'm not sure if Mack winning is a surprise or not - the team is filled with mid-card talent - none of whom really stand out. Like I said to you - he'll lose in the next round.
