I have decided to reboot my Legends of the Future fed based on the indy scene in Ontario.

Card #1 Ontario Championship Wrestling @ Harmony Hall, Oshawa, Ontario “Season’s Beatings”

Sam Hayne v. Savage T w/KJ Hill : Hayne dominated the action that only lasted a few minutes and ended it with a crucifix bomb. dud

Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black w/Lacey v. Samu & Alofa: This one got plenty of time. Excellent match and the fans show their appreciation with lots of great chants. The story was The Lacey’s Angels tandem of Black and Jacobs dominating their larger opponents but not being able to put the Samoans away. Samu saves Alofa from the PHOENIX SPLASH. The Samoans finally make their comeback and nearly get the win but Black saves Jacobs from a SAMOAN DROP. Samu bloodies Jacobs with a chair shot at ringside and the Jacobs eventually makes a comeback and gets the win with THE END TIME on Alofa. ****

Kenny King v. Dupae Rupa: King is out to a solid ovation. It is the former Tough Enough competitor against the Belgian Brawler. This is a spirited contest with both men holding the advantage at points in the match. Rupa is disqualified when he nails King with his Belgian flag at ringside. Rupa uses the flag pole to choke out King after the match drawing great heat. * ½

Lacey v. Trinity Denucci: Ladies action is up next as Lacey makes her way back out to ringside drawing heat from the fans. Lacey outclasses Denucci for most of this one and puts her away with a spinning wheel kick. Dud

Osirian Portal v. Backseat Boyz: The fans are into the funky pharaoh and his reptilian partner. This one ended too quickly for the fans liking. Although both teams are able to make defensive tags the Boyz are aggressors from the outset and it pays off as Dream Sequence 2002 allows Trent Acid to pin Amasis. *

Ontario Championship Wrestling Title 6 Way Ladder Match – Delirious v. Eddie Edwards v. Jigsaw v. Adam Pearce v. Kevin Steen v. Drake Younger: The action was all over the place as you would expect in this type of bout. The high spot of the match comes when Delirious nearly takes the title home after a Shadows Over Hell onto Pearce who was under the ladder! Both men are non-factors for the balance of the match. Younger manages to avoid a suplex off the ladder by Steen but Steen is able to hit the STEENALIZER on Younger and then climbs the ladder to claim the title. **

Would love to see how a 6-way ladder match works! Congrats to Steen on winning the title!

Thanks for checking out the action Lucifer....

I used a combination of the ladder match from the official booklet along with Baby Cindy's Battle Royal Rules. I did not use Cindy's "elimination chart" but rather made modifications to the "premature elimination chart" (ie the opponent tries to suplex you out of the ring" became the "the opponent tries to suplex you off the ladder.") The match did not go on as long I as I hoped and there was really only the one great spot. The match did set up potential bouts between Delirious - Pearce and Younger - Steen.
