I just found out that Jody Kristofferson (the son of songwriter/actor/activist Kris Kristofferson) has indeed signed with the WWE.

Jody Kristofferson was a regular here in Las Vegas at the local Indy fed Future Stars of Wrestling where he and PWG's Brandon Gatson were a tag team called Sons of Texas. He also wrestled in various indy feds in California.

One day later, this is now being reported on wrestling news sites like Lords of Pain:

- WWE has signed independent wrestler Jody Kristofferson to a developmental deal. Jody is the son of actor and musician Kris Kristofferson.

Kristofferson impressed Triple H months ago at a tryout, even more when he found out who his father was, and word is that the deal has been in place for some time but WWE didn't want it getting out. Jody finished up with the APW promotion in California this weekend and will likely start with FCW in Tampa next month.

I had heard rumors of Jody Kristofferson going to the WWE, but yesterday was the first time I had it confirmed to me from someone who knows. Good luck Big Country!
