So you guys who would only have wrestlers included who don't already have a card would see a color box set with a lineup like this?
Adam Cole & Kyle OReilly (Future Shock) - Andy Ridge - Brutal Bob - Caprice Coleman - Cedric Alexander - Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin - Ernesto Osiris - Grizzly Redwood - Harlem Bravado & Lance Bravado - Jay Lethal - Mia Yim - Micheal Elgin - Mike Bennett - Mike Mondo - Prince Nana - R.D. Evans - Shane Hagadorn - TJ Perkins - Tommaso Ciampa - Truth Martini - Veda Scott
You've got FOUR managers and two women who currently only have outside the ring positions (pending rumored women's division). You've elminated a HUGE part of the star power of ROH: Briscoes, Edwards, Richards, Strong, Steen. That's like putting out a WWE set without Punk, Cena, and Orton. There's NO WAY a ROH set with that lineup would sell to anyone but current Filsinger Games customers who already own the LOTF stuff.
Richards and Edwards in particular could really use new cards reflecting current wrestling style and main event singles positions on the card. The LOTF cards are weaker tag team versions. Strong and The Briscoes were pretty much perfect in LOTF form, but it would be awesome to get the color cards for them. And how many people have been practially begging for new art for the Young Bucks?

voted for guys without cards I've seen this a couple of times now and feel like it should be addressed. If a new ROH set happens, I can pretty much assure you the above request is not what will happen. This would be a fresh, new product aimed at ROH fans, featuring current ROH talent. Any "current cards" have nothing to do with it. Like the CHIKARA set, this is a fresh new business direction aimed at introducing FG to new fans and giving current fans an elite level product never seen before with any ROH wrestlers. Can you imagine trying to pitch a business idea to ROH that doesn't include some of their very best guys? Or worse, a new game where the best guys in the set are middle card and lower card guys? ROH will have first crack at the roster anyways. Telling them we already have a few of their guys in black and white scattered about in old sets isn't much of a selling point. I like to think of all FG cards being similar to how WWE distributes their action figures. There are plenty of variations of guys. Several Cena's, Taker's, Jericho's, HHH's etc...it's not like every wrestler gets on figure and that's it forever. I can totally understand a veteran fan hesitating to buy a game with doubles of guys they already have in black and white, even if the new cards have new art and stats. But most people will buy it. And more importantly more people will buy it with star power like Kevin Steen, the Briscoe's and American Wolves in it than without. The CHIKARA series has been beyond successful, proving a specific business model works. Especially when the game is being introduced to new audiences. Just an FYI! This poll could go a real long way. You never know! edit: just saw Taggart's post. Pretty much same thing I just said here. My bad.

I think the only guy I didn't vote for who already had a crad is El Generico. The rest were the people I thought would bring "star power" to the set, regardless of if they had cards already or not. Now that being said, I wouldn't want a whole lot of ROH Color cards that were of guys that have CHIKARA Color cards...unless their styles/angles were different enough to warent an ROH specific card. But if we are talking about redoing guys that only have B&W cards, then I am all for that.

I feel like El Generico is the same exact guy in CHIKARA as he is in ROH? I've seen him live in both, and other than his ROH match being more brutal (taking a ton of punishment like everyone else in ROH), he seemed to wrestle the same way offensively.

Is it just me, but is the ROH roster a lot weaker than it was a couple years ago? The tag division is still strong, but the singles title contenders dont really stand out to me.

I knew full well that no way would a ROH set be produced without some of the guy's that already have cards.

Don't most wrestlers have the same wrestling style no matter where they are at? Yet cards get changed around anyway. I say an El Generico card for LOTF or ROH would be statted better than his Chikara card because he's booked higher and has worked other places more than he has Chikara.

I'm just saying we already have a color El Generico. I'm not against an ROH version if it gets voted in. He's one of my favorites. I'm sure the set would include another Delirious too.
