Who is the greatest Rumble winner of all time?
Is it a no brainer? SCSA with 3?
Hogan with 2 during the 80's era?
Flair starting at 1 and winning the belt?
HHH coming back from quad surgery?
Edge surprise return?
Cena shocking the world coming back from surgery 6 months early?
Luger and Bret Hart duel elimination?
Hacksaw Duggan 1st ever winner?
HBK winning 2 times and having most combined eliminations ever?
someone else?
WHO IS IT?
This......................................................is a tough one, fans.

Flair starting at 1 and winning the belt? I remember watching Flair go all the way and to me it solidified him as the BEST wrestler in the world at the time. For a kid growing up on the west coast (and without Cable) I didn't get to see Flair much during his pre-WWF days. I had read all about him in PWI, but my first "real" chance to see him was in this rumble and it was awesome.

Flair got my vote too, barely edging out Cena's shocking comeback win. Flair is a total bag now, and the WWE treats him way too good for being a lying turncoat, but I can't let any of that change the greatest rumble win ever.
Btw I forgot Big John Studd. I think he was the second ever winner. He won it as a face then nothing came of it.

Flair hands down. I doubt they'll ever be another one better. A-list group of partiicipants, he started at #3 and you never thought he'd win, swerve ending, and the first time a heel won it. Hard to top.

I think it's an obvious choice, Stone Cold Steve Austin is the king of the Royal Rumble, but had the question asked what was the best rumble of all time: 1992 Royal Rumble hands down.
Flair(like stated before) started at #3 and lasted just over 59 minutes to win the Rumble. Several other events happened during the rumble: Shawn Michaels coming out as a heel for the first time since turning on Jannetty on the Barbershop, Roddy Piper's attempt at winning the World title after winning the IC title on the same card, Macho Man's return and crazy attack on the Undertaker, plus Hogan's first sign of caring more about himself than being a "good-guy" by eliminated Sid Justice after he was thrown out of the Rumble! And did I mention the World Title went to the winner of the event! Plus Bobby Heenan was the best character of the show, with his constant "this isn't fair to Flair" lines, with Gorilla Monsoon adding in "No man has started before #5 and been there for the last entry of the Rumble." You can't say that anymore it's been done time and time again and the Rumble has become so predictable, it's pathetic.

1992 was the best Rumble, it really played like a great match, which a lot of those don't. It's much harder to pick a King of the rumble. Different guys dominated different era's. Seems like 3 stand out. huckster, Michaels, and Austin.

Flair. Nuff said, lol. The Rumble is nothing to me, ever since the time period between entries was reduced, and the winner getting a world title match at mania. Nowhere near as fun as the days when you didn't know who would win. Now you know there's only a select few that could possibly come out on top.

I'm the odd one here, I went with Jim Duggan winning the very first one. Nothing more special than the very first one and really kept Duggan in the hearts of the fans.
