Earth 1ST Territories

Earth 1ST Territories takes place before the ban on wrestling. In this reality though, space colonization has not begun, so all three Territories are Earth based. I took some liberties with some of the wrestlers in deciding they are from Earth and were at least once human. The only two non-human wrestlers are Balaal & Rubicon, but their history will be revealed as the story progresses.

The three Promotions are :

Puroreso Spirit Wrestling - This Japanese based promotion has adopted a more 'blood-sport' style of combat. The matches are stiffer and the objective is to knock your opponent out, or make them submit. There are no pinfalls, but a wrestler can win by DQ & Count Out.

Chikara - A US based promotion that has retained the sports entertainment style of wrestling that focuses on storytelling. They have found a good balance between wrestling & story, but still manage to tell more fantastical stories, where the weird is a common occurrence.

New Era Wrestling - The NEW is also based in the US. It shares some similarities to Chikara, but has scaled back the story aspect to be more 'Traditional' wrestling. The focus is on matches between several groups and is heavily influenced by feud resolution. 90% of 'promos' are backstage interviews.

PSW Qualifier Round One :

Block A

Morbid vs Pi
Morbid dominated Pi and made him tap out to MORBIDLY CRUEL.


Pendekar vs Marco "Lionheart" Sabino
Sabino dropped Pendekar with two spinning back kicks and forced him to tap out to the BICEP SLICER.


Hiroshi "Ashigaru" Yamada vs Stryker
Yamada took it right to Stryker, but was dumped to the outside, and Stryker Dove through the ropes with a suicide dive. Once back in the ring, Stryker hit K.Y.A.O, and sent Yamada crashing to the mat for the victory.


Anivar vs Darmondy
Both men traded blows, with neither man really gaining the advantage. Anivar knocked Darmondy through the ropes with a Knuckle Tattoo, and went out after him. Anivar's rage took over, and The Enforcer pounded on Darmondy mercilessly, as the referee came out to restore order. Anivar leveled the referee before delivering a SAVAGE BEATDOWN on Darmondy. The referee called for the bell, disqualifying Anivar, and giving Darmondy the win.

Darmondy injured 4 cards.




Block B

Daisuke Sengoku vs Dragonlord
Dragonlord had Sengoku on the defensive for most of the match. He caught Daisuke with a chokeslam off the ropes, before hitting several Triple Bombs, in an attempt to put him away. After a Titanic Drop, a fourth Triple Bomb, and the DRAGONWINGS, Sengoku couldn't meet the count giving Dragonlord the win.


Kanazawa vs Ronin Dorstan
A man in a lab coat, identified as Dr. Barnabus, led a monster of a man to the ring. Barnabus introduced to world to his greatest achievement..."The Rubicon" Ronin Dorstan. Kanazawa came to the ring and the match was on. No contest here. Rubicon grabbed Kanazawa by the neck and delivered some stiff knees to the chin, before hooking him up for NATURAL SELECTION (Gallows Pole), and putting him down for the count.


Alphonse vs Tanah
Alphonse started out with the advantage and locked in LIGATURE. Tanah slipped free of the hold quickly, and mounted and offense of his own, but was cut short by Alphonse. The Contract Killer locked in LIGATURE a second time, but Tanah made it to the ropes to break the hold. Alphonse grew visibly upset and when he caught Tanah in the hold a third time, he refused to release his grip, and the referee was forced to call for the bell. Tanah was awarded the DQ victory, but may be in no shape to continue, as he was severely injured by Alphonse.

Tanah injured 11 cards (out of tournament)


Conundrum vs T.K.
Conundrum dominated T.K. and never let him get in an offensive move. Conundrum locked T.K. in a headlock, before knocking his lights out with the LOADED QUESTION, and scored an easy victory.




Block C

"The Zealot" Darc Cannon vs Doctor Payne
Darc Cannon was all over Doctor Payne, and tried to put him away with OVERZEALOUS, but Payne kicked out. Cannon hoisted him up and dropped him on his head with a jackknife powerbomb (snake eyes). Payne was not moving as Cannon scored the victory.

Doctor Payne injured 2 cards.


Crazy Monkey vs Tycho Righteous
Tycho was all over the place, and took care of Crazy Monkey easily with the RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION.


Revelation vs Akuma
Revelation fell victim to a NINJA AMBUSH early and was knocked out in a quick match.


Havoc vs Raul "Anaconda" Valerjo
Havoc destroyed Valerjo with several signature moves, before knocking him cold with WRECKING HAVOC.

Block A

Batiri (Kobald/Kodama/Obariyon) vs Black Death (Harbinger, Coven Black, Mantis)
Kodama and Harbinger started the match out. Harbinger had an answer for everything Kodama threw at him, but a timely tag brought in Obariyon, and the Batiri gained the upper-hand. Kodama re-entered the fight after a drop toe hold & knee strike on Harbinger. Kodama went high risk, but Harbinger caught him, and slammed him to the mat. Harbinger tags in Coven Black, who sinks his teeth into Kodama's neck with BITE OF THE VAMPIRE. The Batiri rush the ring to make the save, which brings in Black Death. Coven Black retained the advantage, and hit a flipping piledirver on Obariyon, before locking in BITE OF THE VAMPIRE. Obariyon managed to escape and Black tags in Mantis. Mantis hits 'I Can See You', follows up with Black Death Cometh, and tags in Harbinger instead of going for the pin fall. Harbinger connects with the Big Boot Beheading and scores the pin fall as Coven Black & Mantis keep the other Batiri at bay.



Block B

Neo-Solar Temple (Ultramantis Black,Chronoking,Delirious) vs Evilution (Frightmare,Hallowicked,Death Knight)
Death Knight and Delirious started out for their teams. Both men traded blows before Death Knight tagged in Frightmare. Delirious gets dropped by a Frightensteiner, and rolls from the ring. Frightmare comes over the top rope with a tope suicida, before both men are replaced by Chronoking and Hallowicked. Chronoking goes on the offense, but gets hit with the GRAVEYARD SMASH out of nowhere, as Hallowicked counters a springboard neckbreaker. Chronoking manages to kick out. Hallowicked tosses Chronoking from the ring and hits a spectacular dive over the top rope. Ultramantis Black enters the ring for the first time against Death Knight as the other four men are recovering. Ultramantis made quick work of Death Knight. Hitting a falling neckbreaker, an Argentine facebuster, and finally the PRAYING MANTIS BOMB. With no one to make the save, Death Knight was pinned, giving Ultramantis the victory.



Block C

Chikara Spirit (Mike Quakenbush,Jigsaw,Torq) vs BDK (Claudio Castagnoli,Marco Jaggi,Tim Donst)
Tim Donst dropped Torq quickly with the STO before tossing from the ring. Mike Quakenbush quickly replaced his partner. The BDK dominated the match, isolating Quakenbush, before putting him out of commission with RAGNAROK. Marco "Big Money" Jaggi was the legal man at the time and was awarded the victory.



Block D

The Serpent Society (Balaal,Ophidian,Viper Kid) vs F.I.S.T (Eddie Kingston,Brodie Lee,Icarus)
Viper Kid starts off against Brodie Lee. Brodie levels Viper Kid with several high impact maneuvers, including the Black Hole Slam. Viper Kid mounted a comeback and bounced off the ropes for a flying headscissors, but Brodie Lee caught him in the air, and dropped him with a powerbomb. Brodie Lee nearly took off Viper Kid's head off with the BIG BOOT. Brodie goes for the pin fall, but Balaal intervened, and made the save. Eddie Kingston is in with a half-nelson suplex, and a Yakuza Kick, before tagging in Icarus. Icarus hits the Emerald Flosion and a spear for a near fall. Viper Kid is looking hurt, and is in a lot of trouble. WINGS OF ICARUS and its all over! Ophidian and Balaal tried to make the save, but were cut off by Kingston & Lee.

Two great cards to open the Territories!

Lots of great action in the PSW opener; The Contract Killers really shined though - Alphonse tried to kill Tanah!! Future opponents put their necks on the line against these two!!

Gotta give Darc Cannon the FOTN honors in this one; he put on a hell of a show!


The Chikara opener was interesting; really like the direction you're going here.

Black Death winning was no surprise - I think Harbinger will walk through everyone to claim the World Championship.

UMB winning was great to see; really like the character & look forward to more.

MOTN has to go to Serpent Society vs. F.I.S.T; that match looked like it was a blast to play out!


Looking forward to the tag-team elimination in NEW - looking for Black Death, Empire Elite & New Gods to come out on top!
