Last summer CM Punk was my favorite wrestler on the planet. His character was one of my all-time favorites. 6 months later I can't stand the son of a bitch. I want to bully him, push him down. I want him to lose every match he is in. I can't stand his constant complaining about "authority". He comes off like a total IWC bitch boy. He's the f'ing champion and all he cares about is the stupid GM. He comes out every week and instigates shit with Lauranitis. Wants a match with him. Totally and completely distracted, side-tracked, caught up in and obsessed with the GM. He looks so stupid losing 4 times to Ziggler thanks to being too emotional to concentrate on his match. Why am I supposed to like this guy???
It all started on RAW when he first got "distracted" +5 agility Nash like a total idiot generic WWE face. It's since spiraled completely out of control. Now all he does is whine, interrupt people and basically act like a 12 year old. This is NOT the CM Punk I knew. CM Punk used to be cerebral. He used to be calculated. The "dumb and brave" thing works for Cena. He's a monster. CM Punk looks like a meth addict. He needs to be different than every other face who ever got out-smarted by authority. He's the champ, yet he NEVER looked weaker.
CM Punk the dude - still huge fan. CM Punk the character - hate him.
Thanks a lot WWE!

I hear ya. Last year, with his "pipe bombs", couldn't wait to see and hear what he'd come up with next. But like you say, now they're making him look like a whiny bitch. And yet people still cheer him? Go figure.

The Punk-Johnny Ace-HHH-Nash-Vince-Sneezy-Bashful-Otunga-Cousin Oliver clusterfudge of a storyline killed Punk.
To redeem his character, it would be cool that at the opening bell of the Ziggler match at RR if he just instantaneously beat the crap out of Johnny Ace and then walked out. Probably won't go down like that though.

Well now that they've got another anti-establishment wrestler they're doing what they've done for the past 14 years.
Replaying Austin vs. McMahon it's too bad that nobody in authority there poses the question : "how many times are we going to do this?" Hopefully after this sunday they'll get onto a Miz-Punk or Jericho -Punk showdown for WrestleMania and leave lauranitis out of it. (i'm sort of guessing he tries to screw Punk,, and Foley shows up, knocks him out, and another Referee has to come in.)

You might be right . Personally Punk butts in too much . Like he has to have the last word on everything . Why ?

I totally agree with you Swarm. I do, however, think its still salvageable if they just hand CM Punk the keys again and let him concoct some crazy ‘reason’ for his behavior over the past few, ahem, months. That likely won’t happen, as I fear this is all some backstage, political, dues-paying type deal where there are certain persons who just don’t want this guy to succeed. I also think maybe Punk himself has hurt his chances with his too-close-for-comfort relationship with the IWC as you pointed out and his adoption of this whiney, too-easily-distracted character.
But its not unfixable. He’s still got ‘it’…its just covered in a layer of something right now.
