COTG Madden League - open invites

Come one, come all. We have been running a Madden (XBOX) league going on 3? real-life years now and it's big fun. We are always looking for new players. We enter the new 2116 season this saturday afternoon with our annual rookie draft. If anyone is interested in joining the league, please PM me ASAP! Serious inquiries only!

League breakdown -

* We only play division and user v user games in regular season. We sim all others (some exceptions to the rule include: everyone plays week 1 and on Thanksgiving). We of course play all playoff games.

* Right now we have 7 active players

Rams - Osk (Been to 2 SB's won 1)
Lions - Swarm (Won last years SB)
Bears - Ocularus (3 time NFC Champ)
Bucs - Agrippas (still building up team. reigning NFC South champs)
Cowboys - Bobby1970 (won SB 2. Multiple time NFC East champ. Numerous NFC Title games)
Cardinals - sickman (1st year in league last year)
Redskins - Payback (returning to league this year as new Skins GM)

all other teams are open! As you can see we try to all be NFC teams so we have more user v user games, but if we had more we could expand into AFC.

That's pretty much it. We try to play all our games and get through each madden week every 3-5 days. Goes pretty fast.

I've never played in an online Madden league before, but I'm assuming that everyone has to be on the same hardware platform (Xbox), so PS3 owners can't join. Am I right?

Until they cross platform...which makes total sense so it will never happen.

2011: Jets (CPU) beat Rams (Osk)
2012: Cowboys (bobby1970) beat Rams (Osk) in NFC title game
2013: Rams (Osk) beat Bears (Ocularus) in NFC Title game
2014: Lions (Swarm) beat Rams (Osk) in NFC Title game
2015: Cowboys (bobby1970) beat Bears (Ocularus) in NFC Title game
2016: Bucs (Agrippas) beat Bears (Ocularus) in NFC Title game. Both retired after year ended.
2017: current year in week 17

current teams are - Cowboys (bobby1970), Redskins (Payback), Lions (Swarm), Rams (Osk) and Cardinals (sickman)

all other teams open.

we only play user vs user and division games (and of course all playoff games). We sim all other games. Goes fast this way.

2018 draft this weekend.
