Damn good show last night. The crowd was wild all night which always helps. Ma boi D Bryan vs. Punk was fantastic. How jaded am I that I felt like they'd do something to screw the match up and it wouldn't actually happen? I was worried at last minute it would become some kind of tag match. Instead they let them go and we got a nice taste of what could be if they ever let Punk and Bryan really headline a PPV. Even the ending was fun. HHH seems to be giving the vibe that Taker means well, but he doesn't have it in him to beat HHH. Like HHH feels sorry for him? That's how I took it. Notice how wild the crowd got for super intense Cena? Really into this story too. Lot of time between now and Mania for Cena to really go crazy. Anyone notice he is growing his hair out? I noticed 2 weeks ago he hinted to it on RAW, running his hand over his hair showing he's been growing it out. Since then it keeps getting longer. Ultimate Warrior Cena coming?
Looks like Punk v Jericho and Bryan vs. Sheamus vs. Orton vs. Barrett (somehow) at Mania. That's the impression I got from last night. Thoughts?
Nothing to bitch about today. Sweet show.

I thought Raw was pretty good even though I too was hoping for a clean finish between the two champs. I get it you cant have one champ being stronger but I felt like D-Bry could have used the push to make him a better dickhead champ that can win. Beating Punk even by cheating with feet on the ropes or something classic wouldnt have hurt him he's so over anyway. I was hoping for a little more from Jericho but im willing to let him tell this story the long way with a classic heel explanation later. Too bad the great match was ruined but hell you cant give em all away for free. I got a feeling that this maybe the only time we ever get to see Punk/Bryan champion vs champion so I ate it up.
With HHH I got the feeling he was trying to tell Taker that he didnt need to feud with him at Mania because he has a show to run again. I think the story they are trying to tell is that HHH is trying to put the company first and personal feelings second but we all know its HHH and Mania is too good to pass up especially with a show stealing match vs Taker.
My armchair booking says they let it go for a couple of weeks with Taker messing with HHH until the glory hog cant take it and the match is made. At least this way there is some build up instead of just pointing at the Mania sign. What I didnt get out of that was is Johnny Ace still Raw GM or is HHH back? Im guessing Trips is in control but it was left kinda vague by interrupting the firing. I guess thats the hook to watch next week.
I think they should either end the Cena/Kane feud already or give me some crazy gimmick matches to make it more fun. I cant take conflicted Cena helping out Ryder anymore. Make him nuts make him heel or just start training for Rock. I just dont care and thats sad because I like both Cena and Kane.

Oh yeah I was wishing Sheamus was a bit more serious with threatening the champions and had his own celebration segment. Maybe they will do that on Smackdown.

Swarm, I took the HHH thing as a nice extension of his feud with Punk, in which Punk basically had to insult him for weeks on end to get him in to the ring. I'm sure Taker will be forced to dangle the carrot as HHH boringly tells us how he just wants to run raw and not wrestle, even though if he did wrestle he would surely win.
HHH's promo was the only thing on this show I didn't like, and I usually don't mind his promo work.

With Trips and Taker taking the last spot of the show I didn't mind seeing Punk v Bryan being the first hours main event, which in WWE's eyes is almost as important as the actual main event.
