* Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship: CM Punk (ch) vs. Chris Jericho vs. The Miz vs. R-Truth vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston * It was announced at last night's WWE Smackdown taping that the following names will be the participants in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match for the WWE World Title: -Daniel Bryan -The Great Khali -Big Show -Cody Rhodes -Randy Orton -Wade Barrett Interested to see who Sheamus fights at EC. I see Bryan retaining and Jericho winning the WWE Title, setting up Punks rematch at Mania.

Good lineups for both EC matches. Looks like Cena vs. Kane in a Last Man Standing match. Guessing we will also get Diva match and Tag Title mtahc. As for Sheamus there aren't many options left. They could do him vs. Jinder Mahal for the 1000th time, but I could instead see him vs. a Raw star, like Mr. John Lauranitis' right hand man David Otunga.
I agree on Daniel Bryan retaining and Chris Jericho winning by last eliminating CM Punk. Although we could be seeing Randy Orton in the title picture as well. A four way with Bryan-Sheamus-Orton-Barrett would be nice to see, but not sure that makes sense to have the Rumble winner in that kind of match unless he loses a stipulation match coming up.

How the $%#@ did Khali make it into the EC? Has he done anything substantial lately?

How the $%#@ did Khali make it into the EC? Has he done anything substantial lately? Does it matter? The sight of him and Big Show inside the Chamber is enough to sell me on it.

I have a feeling Khali will fill the semi annual role of getting taken out on the way down to the ring/the week before.
Maybe a returning Christian takes his place like Edge took Kofi's place a few years ago?

I like Khali. I always have. I've never understood his criticism. He's a giant. He's not supposed to need to do a bunch of moves because the idea is he's bigger and stronger than everyone else. It's like asking a Defensive Tackle to catch an 80 yard bomb. Makes no sense.

Khali has had some okay matches. I think my main criticism of the guy is that a lot of times in promos and things he looks super uncomfortable. I don't care that he is bad in them because most of the roster is bad in them, but the fact that he looks so clearly uneasy makes me feel sorry for him, which is not what I should be feeling for the man who could legitimately kill me.

I can see why people may be a little pissed that Khali is in that match. He hasn't been on TV in forever and then he comes back and gets into the biggest match between the Rumble and Mania. But people always pop for him because he is an attraction. He's 7 ft. tall and the most muscular "giant" ever so WWE is putting him in there as what I see as a replacement big man for Mark Henry. It works, but I can see why some may not like it.
I really hope DB retains and gets to defend against Sheamus at Mania. They deserve it after getting their match shoved into the dark match spot at the last minute.

Making the 7ft Khali tap out would give Bryan some more credibility.

Yeah that's my problem with Khali. It's not his in-ring abilty (or lack of) but that they have done NOTHING with him in months. Now suddenly he's fighting for the World Title?
