In that case ... if they want to lower their state flag, for whoever they want to lower it for ...
I'm not going to argue.
But they should respect the codes of which the American flag is to be used.

Here in Pennsylvania people were flying the flag at half mast for Joe Paterno believe it or not. I have nothing personal against Paterno or Whitney Houston but that's just disrespectful

I think it's a bit too much. As a veteran it doesn't offend me though.
I'd rather see the governor make a statement or force every radio station to play a Whitney song at non that day or something cool like that.
The flag though? Come on now.

I say YES for what she did musically . Crack addict or not . Shouldn't most people be remembered with honour (okay not scum that have committed crime for years or them that have never worked and just lived off hand outs etc) . We are all somebody not nobody . Think about it ? . If the mailman , doctor , supermarket worker , bus driver , teacher , etc didnt go to work . Or if 4 workers doing a job became 3 - more work for the same pay ? .
I also agree with things like one person dies and millions cry . But millions die for starvation and not one person cries .
