WMania 28 On-going thread

The Good:
Undertaker/HHH - was exhausted when it was over. stole the show. awesome reaction when he did the dead man sit up.

Punk/Jericho - I expected this to be the match to out do Taker/HHH. Solid match

Cena/Rock - did not get my money's worth after a year build up. but very solid.

Orton/Kane - I like Kane with the mask back on. "Embrace the Hate" gives a lot of new direction to an old character. Always love it when Orton loses.

BAD - Big Show/Rhodes - why is the big show such a cry baby. Everytime I turn on the TV he is crying. Too predictable...sold the fact of Big Show's "problems" at WM.

Bryan/Sheamus - Didn't like how it went down, but hey, that is how the cookie crumbles.

UGLY - team teddy/Johnny - TONS of talent, little produced. Sad Sad Ending. If Henry would have put Hornswaggle through the ring post...would have taken this to bad ... maybe good.

DIVAS - How weak are they...Celebrity just pinned the champ. Once again a celebrity proved that the professional.

CELEBRITIES & MUSICAL GUESTS - see above. Flo even got the ones up on a "superstar". Musical guests were horrible. Hot chick with a decent voice with two losers. Flo is just another cookie cutter wanna be.

FUNKZILLA - KILL THIS CHARACTER! Total stupidity. Didn't work for Scorpio...errr.....Flash Funk ... and he had talent

Skits - Liked the military stuff.. great job Slim Jim...what is deadliest catch have to do with anything...however, the captain did do a better elbow drop than 90% of the roster. there ya go...average people better than the pros.

Thought it was a c+ to a solid B over all. 3 matches saved it from being a total flop.

Watching this last night's Mania I came to 2 conclusions:

1 - It was my favorite mania of the last 3 (that's not saying much).

2 - It's the reason why wrestling is at a low ebb.

Look I enjoyed Mania last night. As one of my buddies said and I agree, it was a shit sandwhich. Started with shit, ended with shit but the middle part was okay. In random order:

Someone summed it up for me with the DB and Sheamus match. I believe they said "Do you really think this feud is over?" That's the problem...it's Wrestlemania, aren't the feuds supposed to end here? One of the main matches I was looking forward to and it ended in 18 seconds or whatever. Maybe next year they can get a good match.

Punk Jericho was good. I really enjoyed the finish. Two great wrestlers giving their all. Good to see Punk win the match.

Big Show/Rhodes and Kane/Orton both surprised me. I expected Rhodes to win by DQ or count out and I did not expect Kane to win at all.

Diva's tag match I could care less. I realized long ago that the WWE doesn't care about their women, sadly neither do I.

Triple H and Taker was good, not great but good. I don't get these matches. So I'm supposed to believe that Wrestlemania is so important and Undertakers streak is so important that these's 2 guys will literally beat the hell out of each other but no other match uses a foreign object. And it emphasizes the point of no bleeding UNLESS your Taker and Triple H and then only a little bit. And what the hell was the point of the hell in a cell? They never used the damn cage!!! Oddly enough I enjoyed the finish with the 3 of them leaving together.

Team Johnny vs Team Teddy. Not horrible but just too many guys in the match. I'm okay with it.

Don't care about the celebrities or music just pisses me off that DB and Sheamus got bumped for that.

Rock and Cena confuses me. "Biggest" match of the year and Cena the long term future of the company loses. Nothing against Rock, don't care about torches being passed but bad booking in my mind. Rock didn't look great. 10 years ago he would have kipped up and nailed a Rock Bottom, now he can't even do that. Too many rest holds, too much stupidity. So I'm supposed to believe that Cena "HAD TO WIN THIS MATCH" but he decided to try the People's Elbow". I don't like it.

Beginning and end I don't like, middle I'm okay with! I felt like it was a normal pay per view with more guests and tons of fireworks but that doesn't make it the biggest pay per view of the year.

Only joking Maria Mendounos top was good . Can't believe what they did to Daniel Bryan , humilation or what ? . Team Johnny v Team Teddy , what a waste of time ? . (Carlito & Epico on Twitter love it that the tag team titles where not on at WM) - Undie v HHH better than last year farce - CM Punk v Jericho the best match of the night . But like Epico says (on Twitter) is it WRESTLEmani or CONCERTmania ?
