Too bad it wasn't official, plus Cabana never had the belt at that event and it was a simple open challenge by Marchie Archie and if you look around the web it's not recorded in Cabana's defense column on Wrestling-Titles.com website. I honestly think Adam Pearce is one of the best Indy wrestlers and I like him as the NWA World Champion. Plus, we are talking about the feud between Cabana & Pearce which is very cool... |

Marchie Archie should've gotten an NWA World Title shot though, since he did get a pinfall over the current champion even though it was non title. Sadly Cabana lost the belt before that happened.
Still, one can always hope.

Still, one can always hope. Maybe Archie didn't get a shot because he was not in the NWA plans or he's just focused on his CHIKARA career. I think it would be cool if the NWA, ROH & CHIKARA got together and formed a Indy power group to spread it's wings... |

Not sure about a tri-merger but I'm for Archie defending the NWA Title in CHIKARA, similar to when Flair showed up in WWF with belt.

Yeah too many Chefs in the Kitchen would derail a trimerger thats for sure. Anyway, I'm looking to see the matches that Cabana & Pearce have over the NWA World Title and Colt winning wouldn't be bad. Plus, we could see him as the NWA Champ face whomever the current Singles Champ in Chikara is as a special Champion vs. Champion Match... |

Archibald Peck is the Chris Jericho aka Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion of the NWA.
Really hope he shows up with the real belt and defends it vs. Colt.
