PWG recently announced that this year's DDT 4 takes place on Saturday April 21st.
I am really hoping to go, but I first have to clear up one potential scheduling conflict.
Also, the first tag team for this year's DDT4 was announced: Roderick Strong and (making his PWG debut) Sami Callihan
Sami Callihan (1st DDT4) & Roderick Strong (5th DDT4)-- If there was ever one person who could be called "Mr. DDT4," it would certainly be Roderick Strong. A multiple-time World Tag Team Champion, Roderick Strong has reached the finals of DDT4 on three separate occasions and has been a part of the tournament-winning team twice. The most intriguing part of it is that Strong has had a different partner in every DDT4 he's competed in. 2012's tournament will be no different, as Roderick Strong will be teaming with Sami Callihan.
Since it was announced that Sami Callihan would be making his Pro Wrestling Guerrilla debut on April 21 at DDT4, fans have been buzzing about a rumored Callihan/Kevin Steen match-up, based on their war of words on Twitter. Whether Callihan and Steen will actually face off in the tournament remains to be seen, but the prospect of the two men colliding is certainly enticing. No matter whom they end up facing, Sami Callihan could not have asked for a better partner at DDT4 than Roderick Strong, and vice versa.
