Pro Wrestling Torch reports Mark Henry may be on his way out of WWE.
On the December 12, 2011 episode of Raw, Henry pulled his groin during a match against John Cena. Testing done during the week revealed that the injury was more severe than was originally believed. The majority of WWE's creative forces wanted to give him an easier schedule for a few weeks to let the injury heal. Vince McMahon, however, was described as being less than sympathetic to Henry's plight and decided to have him lose the World Heavyweight Championship to Big Show the following week at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs. McMahon didn't think Henry should have taken time off to heal and pushed him to continue making his scheduled dates. This has led to frustration on Henry's part.
Henry's contract with WWE is set to expire this year and the Torch says that tension could have led him to not renew, thus explaining why he's losing the majority of his television matches.

I have trouble believing a guy involved in a story line that had him reveal that he lost his virginity to his sister at 9 and got Mae young pregnant with a hand after admitting his sex addiction would let this be the killing blow.

Big, monumentally huge difference between a dumb storyline and being told/asked to work through a possibly severe injury.

Hmmm I seem to remember the dirt sheets reporting how Mark Henry was applauded by WWE for demanding to fight through his injuries and refusing to hear opinions that he should rest. But now the story is WWE made him wrestle?
Whatever. Mark Henry is WWE for life. He's just one of those guys. I don't buy it.

I have trouble believing a guy involved in a story line that had him reveal that he lost his virginity to his sister at 9 and got Mae young pregnant with a hand after admitting his sex addiction would let this be the killing blow. He was also working on a 10 year/$10 MM contract during these crappy storylines. Pretty good pay for a guy who barely even got booked on pay per views during the duration of this contract. It's ironic that his most successful years in the business came after taking a huge pay cut from what he used to earn. But that being said, unless Henry was a fool with his money, the guy should be pretty well set. He's over 40, and still in the WWE because he obviously enjoys what he is doing. If Vince makes him not enjoy it for any way, I don't see why he wouldn't just walk away.
